  1. I think first of James Bond. Great MOC with fun features. We don't see too many MOCs with those 9396 blades. Great job.
  2. This is my kind of build. Small, manual, and packed with features. I love it.
  3. I agree. The new one is a little too clunky. The old one felt more swoopy.
  4. This is great. I love when a MOC references a TLG set. Even before 42060 is out, you have made something that is well designed, that makes me also want 42060. Great job.
  5. I haven't though of blue, but I may try it. I'll try a couple of options, and post here for feedback.
  6. I'm back at it. The chassis is done and everything is working well. A draft of the bodywork and bed has been completed. Green will be difficult. No 1x11 and 1x5 liftarms complicates the build (I know there are 1x5 thin liftarms, but after a look on Bricklink, the effective problem does not go away). I may try a version in white or Light Bluish Grey, but both seem lame. What would you do?
  7. Great job. The suspension looks great, and the details are terrific. But I really want to know how you did on the O-Chem test.
  8. Remind me of Lego gear geometry, this new worm gear will have to have a larger diameter than the old one to meet that rack, right?
  9. I'm liking that telehandler. Perfect size, and great use of parts. That new worm gear is great.
  10. I love how you take an excellent photograph for a simple envelope.
  11. Well done everyone. This competition had some great entries. Looking forward (already) to the next one.
  12. Agreed, that hood follows function too much; not enough form. But it's good to give a little love to the ugly duckling, and runt of the litter, every once and a while. They have been changed.
  13. 12:10 11:6 36:4 14:3 21:2 13:1 I love me some garbage trucks. Great job all. Again, another fun contest.
  14. Last night, I was able to get a little more work done on the Baby Unimog after the little wiggs were in bed. The axles are basically done, but as I look at the picture, I see some color changes that are needed. I'll need to replace the soft shocks with the hard shocks. The drivetrain is placed. The frame still needs a little work, and the fake motor still needs to be connected. Also the body mounts are placed. The next WIP will show a draft of the body. From The Queue.
  15. I'm doing the exact same thing. So what are your criteria?
  16. This turned our great. I like the squat look of the truck, and the simple colors look great. I'm impressed with how smooth the compaction function works. After building a number of garbage trucks, I'm familiar with how much work that takes. Great job.
  17. 31. Concept Bulldozer Functions: Manual 16 Cylinder Engine Suspension Opening Driver Door and Control Panel Pneumatic Compressor (PF M, 8878 Battery Box) Blade Lift Blade Tilt Blade Angle Opening Hood Ripper Images: Video: Discussion Topic:
  18. This is my thought as well. But the visibility of current setups still could use some improvements. Glad you like it. The engine is a flat 8 and a V-8 stacked on top of each others. It's more like an H-16, but I didn't like the look of two flat engines, so I made the top a V. Here is the video.
  19. It has both. It will be evident in the video.
  20. It's time for me to submit an entry for the TC10 contest. After toying with a lot of ideas, the idea of a concept bulldozer was the one I gravitated to. I had a lot of fun coming up with the esthetics. Hope you enjoy as well. Features: Power Functions Pneumatic Pump Blade Lift (2 Pneumatic Rams) Blade Tilt/Angle (2 Pneumatic Rams) Hood Opening (1 Pneumatic Ram) Ripper (1 Pneumatic Ram) Opening Driver Door 16 Cylinder Engine I'll post the video soon.
  21. Alright, green it will be. @KikoTubeYep. 1 1/2 connect the hubs. @ImanolBBYeah, the hood is going to give me a little difficulty. I have something worked out in my head, but that does not always translate well to parts. Also, I now have portal axles front and rear. I'll show an updated view of the chassis this weekend.
  22. I think Green is my decision. I was trying to figure out if I could do the new bright green, but that may stretch me a little too far. I'll get the colors for the chassis as set, and I'll take another picture.
  23. This is great. Such a small and simple design with clever implementation and execution. The mechanics are perfect. I would like more color too, but if yellow and grey are your options, stick with the all grey.
  24. We do not see enough boats here. It's a great design. The SUV is pretty cool as well, and the red and white looks great.
