  1. Whether you say C&C welcome probably won't make a whole lot of difference, but asking for advice on a particular part might provoke some more thoughtful comments. I agree with SK too, it's harder to make long, thoughtout comments on a dozen MOCs than it is when there are just one or two.
  2. +1 on the wall and windows, but I agree with Gabe and robuko, there isn't enough water.
  3. Does that mean you give me a +1 for History? I only have three so far. Thanks!
  4. I just got the X1-Charger and was pretty impressed, it's good looking as a car, and the motorcycle coming out is icing on the cake. Some nice techniques used in building it too and quite a few nice pieces (particularly if you're into red, of course! ). Plus it's a pretty unique ninja vehicle (not really at all like any of the others). Quite a satisfying size for the price too, IMHO. Edit: And personally, I was glad it's the same Kai as that way I didn't have to get the fighter (which did not impress me giving the pictures and the price tag, even at a five dollar discount!).
  5. Thanks everyone! You have a point there! A fish, I guess. Thanks robuko! Well this is what the DoH program says, "you must build three MOCs depicting significant events in Kaliphlin's history (you make up the events, or use whatever existing history there is)," so I don't suppose you have to know a whole lot about the History to judge it. But that's okay, I can probably get the credit somewhere else! Thanks!
  6. Very impressed that you got this in on time! I really like the way you did the vines on top of the rockwork! Great little ship as well. +1 for the UoP claims!
  7. Gotta love that rock formation! Like the use of ostriches too! +1 for your claims.
  8. Great concept, and good work with the riders!
  9. Lots of great piece use here! Love that swan. Can't quite see what it's made out of though, what pieces did you use for it's body?
  10. I'm looking for credit for my Lookout! build; tree #1, (Landscape Design), underwater (Hydrology), history #1 (History; not one of the double scene ones), and forced perspective (General Building).
  11. White sculpture/town mascot. And managed a Cat. A!
  12. Rex keeps an eye out on the Avalonian coastline for suspicious ships... Front view: My tree! Quite uncomfortably delicate. An underwater shot: A quick little build so I could make it in for Cat. A. Hope you enjoyed it! I'd like to apply for UoP DoH credit for tree #1, (Landscape Design), underwater (Hydrology), history #1 (History; not one of the double scene ones), and forced perspective (General Building). Thanks for checking it out!
  13. Whoa, that's some crazy-haired dude! Great rockwork on the second build, too!
  14. Yep, I picked up a couple dozen at the PaB wall. Up until this I never did manege to use very many, but this build used most of them up! There's three sets of travis bricks, 6 high, to get the pillars to fit in with the rest of the wall on each side. Thanks! Pink 1x1s were another PaB thing. Not sure I'll ever manege to use all of them though!
  15. Ok, my apologies! Don't know how I can miss things like that despite my oh so careful reading of the rules!
  16. Love the grapevine!
  17. Very nice little vig, especially that cart! Great tree as well! Maybe it would look a bit better if the red came down an extra stud length (three instead of two on the tiles, if that's possible), to do so you'd have to lower the wheel a plate or maybe two though (if you did that I'd also change the brown plate that is currently under the red to red). And technically the back curtains should be red, not dark red, but I can understand piece limitations there! I'd also suggest covering the two studs on top with maybe a leaf, or maybe a red tile. It looks great as is, but just some suggestions that might make you happier with it!
  18. Are we enforcing the five picture rule? I assume so, of course (otherwise it's a bit unfair for those of us, like me, that stuck to it though we wanted to post more), but I wanted to point it out so that it wouldn't go under the radar for one thing, and also mainly so that those who have more than five pictures have a chance to edit their posts (Gabe and Torgar are the two I specifically noticed).
  19. Wow. Another incredible build from you Torgar, this is just fantastic, the waterfall, the vines, the treehouses, the rockwork... wow.
  20. Love that swampy river! Also really like the way you mixed the dark grey bricks and the light grey!
  21. Very nice little vig, especially like the tudor section on the house! +1 UoP credit!
  22. Finally got my fig up: Hope I'm not to late. Gad fights for Petera, preferred weapon a spear or light battle axe. No objection whatever to him dying.
