  1. Good job with this MOC, the curves are really well done and the entire boat looks great!
  2. Thanks everyone!
  3. Great job with the ruined feel! Looks appropriately crumbly!
  4. Thanks Gideon! You're right, it could do with another tower or two... but then I only have so many ice cream cones! Yes, I guess I was feeling a little lazy there and didn't edit it as well as I should have... Thanks Gunman!
  5. I'm happy to say I just got my Tradesman (Bachelor) degree in Geography! Stranded - Oceanside or River Scene A Day on the Mud - Swamp Micro Village - The Start of Auner - Mountains or Cliffs (plus three other's for this build, the rest were standalones) Picnic! - Grasslands One more Tradesman to go, and Kai will start signing herself off as Master... (Just kidding!)
  6. Boy, has there been a lot of talk here! Had to scroll through an entire page worth of comments! On another note, I'm about 3/4ths done with a Sultan's Gate build... and pretty happy with how it's looking so far!
  7. Great work on the interiors especially, lots of great details! +1 on the UoP claims!
  8. That has got to be one of the funniest misspellings of a name ever! On another note, great job with the build, really like the rock formation on the right!
  9. Thanks everyone! Thanks Behemoth! I think those broke the bank the first time! Thanks!
  10. +1 for Life in Kaliphlin. Nice job with the walls there! For this application, I'll be fine with letting the photo quality slide, but I'd really like to see some better photos next time you claim a UoP credit. I understand camera limitations, but at least it should have been possible to take the first picture straightly. And a quick click on the auto fix button with Windows Photo Gallery or something would eliminate a good deal of the hazyness!
  11. If I recall correctly Z made it pretty clear that if you missed Book 1 you still had a chance to win the shields if you participated in Book II challenges. (I wouldn't count a whole lot on that though - long term projects are hard to keep up with sometimes, plans may change, etc.)
  12. Thanks guys! Thanks! I came up with the design a while ago and can't resist using it whenever possible! Thanks Scaevola!
  13. Another free-build from me! Picture = Link to Topic
  14. I'd like to apply for credit for grasslands (Geography) for my Picnic! build.
  15. Upon arriving at the new site for his town, Ageven decided to host a picnic for all his followers! Just a quick build, to show off all the food I've accumulated... I'd like UoP credit for grasslands (Geography). Comments are welcome!
  16. Thanks! I'm glad someone mentioned the path... it was such a pain! About here! Yes, I plan on building parts of it at minifig scale... not all at once like Ecc or Kabel, but little by little! Thanks! Thanks Hammerhand!
  17. If you upload the pictures on to another site (such as Flickr), you can then post them on here. If you're using Flickr, you might want to check out this tutorial.
  18. Thanks Scaevola! Thanks SK! I've had those little house designs sitting around for quite a while now! Thanks! I'm not even quite sure how I came up with the idea... just started stacking I guess!
  19. I like the cheese 'siding' technique you use on the building's walls, very inventive! UoP +1 for windows and 1x1 walls!
  20. Thanks dG! Thanks Gabe! Yes, looking at it this way the grey slab does seem like it needs a little something. I get your point on the trees, I'll take back the claim. Yes, maybe I was going a bit overboard with the coins there... maps often have a treasure chest or something in one corner, and that's the feeling I was going for, but I wasn't too successful!
  21. Thanks guys! Yeah, the colors are a little off. I had actually meant to face the red up top as North, but somehow it got turned around... I don't know that it will look the same or even similar, and probably not all at once (more likely that I build one section, destroy it, then build another), but I do plan on building some parts of the village, and maybe even the castle! Thanks! I guess that means I should BL the right pieces in brown or tan or something! Thanks! It's a Brick Forge Test Tube, in light blue.
  22. Thanks! Yes, I had something of the same thought... at minifigure scale though, that would make good grass! Thanks! Yes, I agree the water would be better without waves. I think that was what was bugging me but I couldn't tell! As far as the plants, those are just bamboo stalks turned sideways. They interlock pretty well, but don't try it unless you're willing to end up with a dozen or so broken ones - I over strained several! They weren't broken at first! Seven or eight of them succumbed to the pressure though I didn't realize that until I took it apart (and none are completely broken yet, but they're hardly attached). Thanks!
