  1. I emailed TLG to double-check that they just weren't sold out of them over the holiday and after only 8 months they're already discontinued?! How on earth am I supposed to be able to get sets I want when TLG discontinues stuff so fast... So now it seems I don't have much chance of getting any sets due to not a single TLR set left up here in stores. Although I did find a Pumpcar polybag at Walmart earlier this month. Here's the email, interesting they mentioned Bricklink and Brickset, never had them mention any other sites before when I emailed them about discontinued products.
  2. Crud, prioritizing what themes/sets to buy in 2014 is going to be so annoying… Well, if the minifigures look awesome I'll probably pick up the two smallest sets.
  3. Well, if it's just those four minifigs with a likely over-priced lackluster set I'll skip it unless it goes on sale for 40% off.
  4. I realize that was not very well thought out now. :P Sif appearing in AoS is awesome news, and Stan Lee is appearing in the episode after that one. Clairvoyant could be MODOK?
  5. Although I see the pros of it such as less competition, more time to get it right, ect. Having to wait over two years, and then at least a year for Justice League is kinda annoying.
  6. It's not like Hawkeye and Black Widow had much of a back story. :P I need to catch up on AoS… and watch AHtK, then I'll comment on 'em.
  7. I agree, that'd be the preferred route since Marvel can't use anything mutant, and I can just fill in their origin story myself.
  8. Oh please no, that is one thing I defiantly hope Marvel doesn't do. Besides, Ultron should retain his spotlight for AoU, rather than share with some old Hydra guy.
  9. I'm excited for how AoS will play in with CA:WS, hopefully it'll help improve the show a bit.
  10. lol, I should go read that one… Agreed, I was really hoping for something like Lex's robot rather than a starving stick figure.
  11. Excellent triple review Pandora! 41042 is definitely my favorite and I might even nab two if 'em, still unsure about 41041 though, and 41043 is a pass for me, although that penguin is rather enticing.
  12. Why does it have to be the X-Jet? Couldn't it just as well be an X-Helicoptor with a small wing sticking out the side for no reason, I wouldn't put it past TLG to do something like that…
  13. Very nice, that dress is brilliant! The use of bley for the lake is an especially neat idea.
  14. Wow, it's amazing how much this looks like the source material. Epic MOC!
  15. If I recall correctly the animated Wolverine and the X-Men (2009) and X-Men Evolution (2000-2003) had Mister Sinister in them. What would be a great boost for X-Men sets would be a new X-Men animated TV Series.
  16. I seriously doubt that there'll be 6/8 seats, as that'd take up a lot of room and it'd be a pretty big/higher priced set. Just speculation though.
  17. Ah! Well, I've recently been at two Target stores but didn't see anything. Ooh, exciting! Can't wait to see what the rest of the set is and what Storm's torso looks like. Nice, I really like that micro-Batwing!
  18. Besides the picture with all the sets and designers are there any pictures of Metalbeard's ship? Also, Uni-Kitty is so awesome - Angy-Kitty is probably my favorite variant.
  19. Kinda cute - hopefully it'll pop up in the US soon! Does seem a bit odd though for this to be based off of TDKR two years after it's release…
  20. Sets now available on LEGO.com in the US. I'd post the link but my internet is so slow it won't load the link off of my email from LEGO. Got the link from TBF to load and - holy crab apples, tha-tha-that space ship, er, Benny's Spaceship is bricking awesomeness.
  21. That Batplan looks so odd, but I love the Steamroller and I'd really like Robin and Batgirl. So, what's the price on it? Maybe I can get it on Amazon for 20-30% off next year… Also, am I the only one who thinks Batgirl would look way better with a dark purple cape and boot printing? Utter lack of boot printing in DC is depressing, but I'm guessing TLG likes not spending money on leg printing…
  22. Congratulations! I especially like the ATV and jetski.
  23. I wonder how he managed to get 'em so early.... well, suppose we shouldn't ask that. I for one prefer the dark red, but new variants are always welcome to me.
  24. I believe Fox's license is just for the X-Men universe and Fantastic Four. Adimantium is not a mutant-only thing nor is it only used with the X-Men so I doubt Disney would have problems with using adamantium.
  25. It's actually December 13th, in the USA at least. TaB is December 17th, 2014. http://www.thehobbit.com/releasedates/ I've been looking for a week and they still haven't showed up at my local TRU! Hope the same thing doesn't happen like it did with the rest of the LotR/TH polybags…
