  1. I agree - but I wouldn't be surprised if only one was made. Akin to the first Marvel wave.
  2. I think that we could see a July wave of three GotG sets with the same prices as the IM3 wave, and an X-Men set with a brick built Sentinal and maybe some part of a street, like the Catwoman Chase set had, including Mystique, Sabretooth, Storm, and a cowled Wolverine. I'm still hoping for a CA:WS set, but I find it doubtful - although it's probably still possible. And if we do end up getting a total of 9/10 Marvel sets for 2014 then that means another 5/6 DC sets would be plausible. We still need the rest of the major Justice League characters and DC has some major villains to use such as Darkseid, Branic, and Ra's Al Gaul, then a bunch of other villains such as Solomon Grundy, Sinestro, Cronos, Deathstroke, Toy Man, a new Scarecrow, Bizzaro (Yes, I know he was a SDCC exclusive), ect. Enough Batman, bring in diversity! And make my wallet cry… I really only go for Marvel sets based off of MCU, and X-Men, so I could skip all but the Cap set in the next Marvel wave, since I need Red Skull, from this wave in anticipation of better future Superheros waves.
  3. Meh, a few minifigs interest me but none of the models appeal to me, I'll probably end up getting 76014 and 76017… I'd like Taskmaster, Power Man, and Falcon though so I guess depends on Bricklink prices and how big of sales go on the sets.
  4. The DC minifigures look quite nice, especially scuba Batman and Batgirl. I'm dieing to see the alternative face for scuba Batman. :P
  5. 5998 Vladek x16, haven't needed a bunch Scorpion soldiers to MOC with yet; 6865, 6866, 6567, 30166, 30167, 76000, 76001, 76004, 76006, 76008, 76009, waiting for a rainy day to open all my Superheros sets; 30053, 30057, 30185, 30225, 70401, 70704, 70705, haven't gotten around to them; 30240 Z-95 Headhunter, don't need to open it since I already have one; 5001621 Hoth Han Solo, want to keep it sealed and mint; 10227 B-Wing, haven't decided if I want to sell it online, to my brother, or keep it sealed for while since I got it on May the 4th for 50% off; and a few CMFs I haven't felt like opening yet.
  6. I'm not saying the CW isn't on cable but that it's a channel everyone gets on the regular tv channel line up whatever it's called. :P It's not an cable-only channel was what I was trying to say. I like both variants- personally. But I do prefer the more dark 'realistic' varieties often portrayed in live-action adaptions.
  7. Arrow and sometime Flash (will) air on the CW which isn't a cable channel… I agree that the chance of sets based off of any of the rumored or airing DC TV shows is pretty much zilch and understable. Also, Gotham is supposed to air on Fox, also not a cable channel. As long as we're on the topic of sets based on TV Series- Although an AoS set wouldn't surprise me a lot I doubt any other Marvel or DC TV series will get sets, and sadly none of the Marvel Netflix series next year... But, then again there's always a chance at any Marvel TV Series, I'd say more so than DC, but that's doing a lot of guessing on my part! All I really want is a live-action minifigure version of Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Flash (live-action Superheros, especially DC's, tend to be darker colors instead of bright, hence why I'd like a live-action version of Flash even though we'll be getting a Flash in '14) from the aforementioned TV series. The rest I can live without. :P
  8. Thanks for the review Captain Nemo! As far as the set goes; meh, there's a lot of sets I'd rather get, and I'm overall not very impressed by the set- but I'd really like to get Radgast, certainly a favorite minifigure of this wave.
  9. Thanks for the review Captain Nemo! I'm really digging this set- lots of nice pieces, Beorn, and well priced.
  10. This will probably end up being my first HF set- good way to get an HF minifigures, and I'd like to play around with that canpy. Thanks for the review VBBN!
  11. What size do you think that poster is?
  12. It's definitely worth getting. I was skeptical of it at first also but it ended up being a fun build and a surprisingly nice parts pack.
  13. After recently seeing T:TDW in theaters it's really quite depressing, as of now, no sets will be based off of it. Now we'll probably have to wait till Thor 3 for a chance at The Warriors Three, Lady Sif, Odin, and some Asgard soldiers… and no chance at dark elves. Maybe TLG could semi-redeem themselves and surprise us with a CA:WS set(s).
  14. As always an fantastic review White Fang! Looking like a non-army builder series for me, thank goodness but some great parts and figs nonetheless. My only real disappointment was that Abe's hat and hair were one piece and not one, but oh well still super hyped to finally get an Abraham Lincoln minifigure!
  15. @LEGOman, Can't watch the video because my internet is super slow at the moment. But…, that's certainly intriguing news. I mean, Wonder Woman in an end credits cameo wouldn't surprise me, but Nightwing and her in the actual movie?! @Crissmonster, That's great news, there's still hope for him showing up at TRU, Target, and/or Wal-Mart!
  16. I'm pretty sure he's made in China, so the quality would be inferior.
  17. The Club comics have used non-existent characters in the past. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Jimmy popped up sometime.
  18. Ahahaha! Watched the five shorts last night. Thor's helmet/hair is totally epic, and a nice look at Red Skull… Also, I hope TLG/Marvel make a short film, like they did with DC, and include Stan Lee in his Hot Dog stand outfit.
  19. Amazon in the US currently has 70707 discounted for 33% off MSRP. Pretty good price I'd say… http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CMHWTRG/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?camp=217145&creative=399373&creativeASIN=B00CMHWTRG&linkCode=as2&redirect=true&ref_=as_li_ss_tl&tag=bargainwatchusa-20
  20. I would think January - Series 9 was out in January.
  21. I really doubt that there'll be licensed CMF (With the exception to Simpson) since in many cases (especially Superheros) the minifigures sell the set. And thus TLG would loose money by selling Superhero minifigures for $3 a fig. Now, I could be wrong but that's my 2¢.
  22. I highly doubt it - Castle didn't get MMV till it's last year, and the Joust was released after the last Kingdoms wave. Also the Joust is still on LEGO.com, so my semi-educated guess would be that unless this Castle gets 1-2 more waves (With an exclusive at the end) there won't be one.
  23. Okay - sorry about that. Will do!
  24. You're welcome everyone - always glad to help. I would think that, from what I've heard, the license holders dictate what the basic sets look like and what minifigures are in them. If that applies to this license then I'd assume the One Ring is there in the movie - how it'll play out though, that'll be interesting.
  25. Just scanned them. I would have pieced the first three together, but I just don't have time at the moment. http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/b/bf/NovDec_LEGO_Club_Issue_-_Hobbit_Spread_1.jpg http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/8/8a/NovDec_LEGO_Club_Issue_-_Hobbit_Spread_2.jpg http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/1/1b/NovDec_LEGO_Club_Issue_-_Hobbit_Spread_3.jpg http://images.wikia.com/lego/images/a/aa/NovDec_LEGO_Club_Issue_-_Hobbit_Spread_4.jpg Mods: If these images are too big, or if I have exceeded the image allotment per post, I apologize - feel free to edit my post.
