  1. I wonder if the top 100 will get the first 100 sets made? Or just a random set picked from the 20000...
  2. Nice work I like smaller size mocs like this. I wonder if the rear view mirrors look a bit high? maybe you could try it with 2 1/2 beams high...
  3. I have also had an e-mail and I will get a set. I was not going to be able to afford to buy this set with all the other good sets coming out this year so I feel very blessed today Congratulations to all the winners
  4. This is a nice looking Jeep. The use of the flex axles tie in the red and black really well.
  5. The 90 degrees is referring to the set-out and alignment required in the step (as Conchas said), so all the wheel mounting hubs are perpendicular to the chassis at the same time. It will not steer anywhere near that angle
  6. My understanding was TLG were going to first pick the top 100 entries and then narrow it down to a top 10.. It makes sense that the top 100 were the highest voted at the date of deadline, but also they should have weeded out all the non compliant entries along the way so they were picking the top ten from 100 legit entries.. Otherwise it would have been very unfair to the people who took the time to do follow the rules to not get a chance. So from that is how I imagine the top 100 should be chosen..
  7. I like that the seats have been changed. One thing that bugged me about the BOSS entry was the seats were like the original 9398 seats.. I wonder if the winch is motorized how that will work?. I can only see the one PF receiver poking out the top of the new model. My guess is that the winch function and maybe some lights will be manual controlled with switches probably in/near the cab. Still hooked up to the one battery box but not part of the RC control..
  8. I used to love this old jeep. One of my favorites as a kid.. I am not sure how the steering is working though? It doesn't look to me like the little man can even reach the wheel

  12. Wow you sure have some talent. The attention to detail in your work is exceptional Now for some English 101: If I were to ask, Who's marvelous MOC is this? You would reply, I am Edwin the great Lego builder I am sure you have heard of me and this marvelous MOC is mine. (Taking ownership e.g. It is mine or The MOC is mine) However......... If you were to show it to me you would say.. Hi, I am Edwin the great Lego builder I am sure you have heard of me and this is my marvelous MOC. (Presenting e.g. Here is my or My first MOC) Please know I'm not trying to be rude. Love your Work Henry
  13. @ Saberwing40k... Yeah I know exactly what you mean, That is my back-up option. I was just putting it out there to see if any other solutions exist.
  14. That is a good idea. I was hoping for a more "gears only" solution using diffs.
  15. Hi Guys I need some help.. I have a motorized Input and the output will be to drive the wheels of my new project. I want to make a one way clutch type setup so when the motor stops the wheels can still free wheel (so my vehicle will roll under momentum).. Does anybody know a simple solution to make this happen? I have 2 x diffs of the type found in the 9398 and an assortment of gears at my disposal. Cheers - Henry

  21. I would like to visit a Lego store one day. Here in Tasmania there are only a couple shops that have any Technic at all.. @ Traktor I visited Norway last year and I was surprised you did not have a Lego shop in Oslo at least.. But you do have Kjeragbolten and I think that makes up for it
