  1. It has been a while since i had a time to touch my Lego...and found earler assembled front axle for one project that needed reduction hubs. It has some similarities with one that is under hyperlink that @functionalTechnic posted few days ago. Since it is "my" tread, I'll post images here: I hope for some time to make chassis and rear axle to test it and see if it is stiff enough to be implemented...
  2. yes @Jundis it certainly looks like that on golden wheels 43.2 x 26
  3. @trabidoni please set your browser to use English language
  4. problem with very small models is that some parts like bullbar or scales are to thick with technic parts Building small scale is changing and I can testify on that because switch from 1:15 scale to 1:18 is much harder (for me) than i expected, so my hat up for @falconluan
  5. that solution crossed my mind before, but could not integrate ball joint from Unimog with that (and was a bit wobbly, but perhaps I didn't use cimpletely new parts... perhaps i could try again for Fastrac 8330 front axle. Thanks Simon
  6. they are real blessing when building structure that is 9 stids long and need stiffness because of axleholes at one end
  7. i know what you mean; I just want to point out that lego has appropriate pattern and diameter mould...
  8. i was just looking your MB; but I have noticed MB trac last year because my plan was to make 1:18 MB Trac but portal axles make it way to wide
  9. Lot's of trucks as usual; but I have noticed interesting MBTrac and very nice blue Liebherr excavator. i think MB Trac is this one https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-57525/Isenheim/mb-trac-1000-rc-buwizz/#details Thanks for nice video Simon
  10. I also try to make some tractors, but missing 90-95mm tired forced me to improvise because I'm trying to switch from 1:15 to 1:18 scale
  11. if i repeat what i think about missing 90-95mm (and 68-75mm) tractor tire @Milan would popup and say stick to the topic
  12. make gear reduction 8 to 24 gears and use 24 tooth gear with clutch if you don't want to use L motor as servo
  13. it would be better to use Zetros tires at the back (but do not ignore that Lego tires make machinery way to wide and specially at such small scale)
  14. i spent few weeks intil i got acceptable shape on my Unimog (but my solution is not stiff)
  15. shape is coming along nicely, i wonder about front bullbar solution in this scale...
  16. @Schwedii first of all welcome to eurobricks forum. MB truck looks very nice and with propulsion of 3 PF XL motors it is very powerful beast (I'm happy with one PF XL motor on MOC when i manage to make power output without rubber band or as you wluld say "gummiband" effect. Can we see your chassis (without cab an wheels)? And I suppose wheels are painted? kind regards
  17. Perhaps it is not the best day (today) for anything funny, but if I remember you are on the busses lately (sounds like classic british sitcom). Important is that you enjoy building and I believe that this one would end up great as Flyer. kind regards
  18. there are Unimogs U423 with tractor tires up to 2420mm width (wider mudguards), so math is ok. it is very challenging even in 1:18 scale, not to mention 1:20 to make proper Unimog. looking forward Regards
  19. it could be lower profile (95mm) and 34-38 mm wide on wheel racing medium; Unimog tire could be used as some kind of template, with adoption of tractor tread (19 treads in this case; Claas tire has 20 of them; Zetros tire has 18 and Jeep tire has 16)
  20. Zetros and Claas tire are good combo for JCB 3CX, but since you mentioned JCB brand for Fastrac 8000 series you need 88-95mm front tire
  21. No, (IMHO) if you want to bould modern agriculture machinery in the same scale... lots of modern tractors and combine harvesters have tires some 15% diffetence in size (front to rear), Claas terratrac models fit perfectly to largest sprockets front and 90-95mm tires on (rear) steering axle
