  1. Actually it is very cool alternative; interesting is that there is a cab only on superstructure like on 42082 set. Undercarriage reminds me a bit on legendary 8421 set
  2. Did you expose them to sunlight? I had some yellow turned pale yellow after exposed to sunlight
  3. I thought you could make Torion full RC (it has basically the same functions as 42030 set). Do you plan 1:17 version based on Xerion tires, or 1:23 based on Zetros tires? (I suppose first because of red rims)
  4. I understand you; I should wait much much longer when praising someone; you got that right
  5. Little update for the weekend; cab, rear mudguards and rear axle (inclooding pto and drawbar) are finished. Next is the most challenging part - the engine bonnet. As you can see there are lots of small parts used on sides and lots of technic connectors used on rear mudguards ...
  6. Ha ha ha ha ha; yes, maybe he decided to start more serious and professional approach. Anyway @Unbrickme your last review is more enjoyable to watch than "surprised" videos of new leaks etc. Welcome to Eurobricks forum
  7. IMHO extraordinary shaping; much better than on Ferrari Daytona
  8. Honestly the most important is that you are safe during Russian aggression and colors are second rank...recolor is probably because something that is upcoming and people like changes Welcome back
  9. @ace_klimax JCB backhoe is just an old wish of @Maaboo35 and myself, since we are a kind of JCB fans (as you can see on my Fastracs and (unfinished Loadalls). It is just a wish; nothing more and nothing less. I would really like JCB 4CX backhoe as your beautiful 42082 C-model (with new 94mm tractor tires) but noone from TLC asks me; even if once upon time @grohl liked my green John Deere 8270R
  10. No problem. Every detail has its reason, so when there are 4 equal size wheels articulated steering is better solution. Kind regards
  11. Usually it is easier turning with smaller front wheel; in my case 95mm tractor tire on 56 x 34 wheel racing medium would be perfect to represent 650/65R34 (like on picture) which is mounting on 2208mm wide front axle giving 2850mm (2208 + 650) overall width at the front axle and rear is 900/50R42 also 2900mm wide. 4 equal size tires is no go for Fastrac 8 series (and 4 series is very heavy when I built it)
  12. This one indeed looks a bit wider overall (both front and rear)
  13. 4CX would be better indeed; 4 equal size wheels, 4wheel drive and 4 wheel steering are easily incorporated, just look at 8455 set - extraordinary set with minor flaw (what I mentioned just before). And I prefer yellow over red (in machinery)
  14. Yes I've noticed; short video but set has nice functions Luckily I could turn off sound ...
  15. Or author made later agreement with CADA...who will know...anyway it is very nice MOC
  16. Telahandler is designed by @eric trax and was presented couple of years ago here in EB forum (100% Lego )
  17. Actually that would be the best solution
  18. You can see here Last update was posted yesterday, but today I made small changes to the rear. Pity that Lego doesn't produce defender rims in yellow and 94mm tractor tires. There is rechargible battery box from Lego which could enable sturdier construction, but my wallet says to much Kind regards my friend and greetings to all your family members.
  19. Johannes, don't cause yourself headache anymore; linear actuator was meant for raising/ lowering implements, but I have switched to more compact solution like on 8284 set, but instead 24 tooth I use 8 tooth. Trust me I would be very happy if Lego made just 2 things - yellow Defender wheels and tractor tire 94 x 40 to fit between Zetros tire and Xerion tire, so I wouldn't need to stretch Zetros tire to approximately 88mm to fit standard front tire (540/65R34), and could make harvesters that would fit the scale 1:18. Prototype for 4 wheel drive using non-modified Zetros tire and Xerion tire I made last autumn but Orion (cat now 12 months old) was very little and I could not do anything more for next half a year. I hope to finish cab soon (from Friday due to rain I'll have some free time for it) and then the bonnet similar to one on 4220; only 13 studs short and more narrow at the cab. And as you can see it is full suspended tractor.
  20. But don't look at me as environmentalist; it is all crap (River Tiber was frozen 1600 years ago - was it global freeze?, and Greenland is not called Green Land for nothing)...but we can at least start cleaning trash in forests, fields etc; one friend of mine uses Zetor from 1962 to pull old wash machines etc from his forest... I red at the beginning of year that LEGO switched to plant based material, but don't know if they switched completely or bricks but some pieces like gears remain ABS based? I'll peek at video
  21. Good evening Clive, I'm OK, just worrying a bit on speculating by sellers who does not understand bases of economy but they are worshipping Juno Moneta. I'm just brainstorming on another Fastrac; sometimes browsers are playing nuts indeed...
  22. If they (peasants) would use normal diesel it wouldn't stink (at least not so much), but they use heating oil mixed with old machine oil (and who knows what else, since lot of them have home manufacturing of edible oil where does waste go?). You showed with your antique version that it could be a planet savour (even new Lego bricks are from plants...)
  23. @grum64 important is that you find the reason for faulty behavior. Question is how do you plan to replace faulty receiver? Buy one over bricklink? About bigger letters; you know it could be worse when autocorrect (that can't be disabled on mobile phone) invents new words The most important is that you are healthy and have fun in this difficult times
