  1. I apologize in advance if this question was answered before; can this bar with towball be used on black pin 2 studs long, and how stiff is the connection? I'm looking for solution since pin with towball is 2studs long and I need 3 studs long. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=22484#T=C Thanks for answer
  2. You created a monster 12 (buggy) motors (and I feel myself happy to have one from 8421 set)
  3. I thought that there is some update to project (since I noticed red gear). Oh well it is vacation time (and only if those fires and people who started them could be under control)
  4. Is Unimog modification (from functional point if view) of 8110 set, or is it completely new build; RC or ? Crane looks very realistic
  5. Imagine how cool would it be on 68.7 (batmobile) tire
  6. About planetary hubs; in my experience it is the only way I could use 2 PF XL motors to run continuously; of course I have to upgear it 36 to 12 or at least 40 to 24 (if there is only suspension arm 4 studs long and not 5 to make narrow enough axle)
  7. @gyenesvi I think that Ferrari differential is best of both worlds (differential from Rally car and from 42099), so I have a feeling (which of course could be wrong) that it could replace previous two; for vehicles that are slow but need torque there is reduction hub and for others like buggy (or trucks) just differential without reduction hubs
  8. That differential solution also crossed my mind Yes, that could be perfect mid size set.
  9. @Jundis forest machine like this would be possible IMHO as Lego set only manual...I have plan to make RC wf Trac (second generation for some time - perfect for 1:15 scale and red / lime combination), but without sbrick or BuWizz it is not doable (2 steering functions; articulated and front axle steering, one for drive, front hook, rear stabilizers and hook, grab arm that has telescopic and rotating feature...)
  10. Maybe some off-road / trial truck something? They also have intensive colors
  11. I look forward when project 8043 will start.
  12. I was thinking more about dishes (6 stud in diameter), but certainly I don't have enough of them in my inventory...I have same problem with balloon tires...I don't know what to do with them; I have 12 powerpuller tires
  13. Tandem Disc Harrow could be ideal in combination with my Fastrac, only to make it in 1:15 scale (after I finish 4220 reconstruction)
  14. @suffocation then you'll need some upgearing from motors like 40-24 tooth or 36-28 (at least) I you are not making some mud proof vehicle
  15. I hardly wait for two specific Ferrari parts - gears in differential... unusual that even in August there is no inventory available... perhaps I have missed something about time of inventory publishing...
  16. You are right about exchangeable tires (standard tires and options), and of course it is only up to you how you would represent real thing
  17. Based on wheelbase you are right; but usually starting point is tire dimension if you want realistic model. MOCs with (significantly) smaller or bigger tires look cartoonish
  18. Here is a brochure (in German) https://claas.de/blueprint/servlet/resource/blob/2644062/2d55d49cf9eb95e3bedef7ab7a54a61b/437382_23-dataRaw.pdf
  19. @mktechniccreations, when Xerion was introduced by Lego I have made some possible combinations which machinery could be made with those tires..one of scenarios was to make Xerion tire represent following real life tires (Scale 1:15 example) 600/70R30 - 1605mm overall diameter 710/60R30 - 1615mm overall diameter 23.5-25 - 1612mm overall diameter ... First two tires are used on JCB Fastrac 4220 and last is used on Claas Torion 1812 and 1914; you can read which tires which range of Torions use at the bottom of webpage under nr3 footnote just above gallery So it seems that (if there is no other option) if you decide to choose tire overall diameter as starting point for your MOC, it should be 1:15 model... Just little help Nevertheless you made beautiful model
  20. It looks very nice; even if I prefer to use as much as possible technic parts for look (I would use 3 x 7 panel or 7 stud long beams instead of dark bluish gray sloped over front differential), but I agree that sometimes it is impossible with technic parts.
  21. There is no money that can buy this feeling because every life is sacred We are proud to have such admin
  22. It is co-operation with Liebherr (like also for telehandler Scorpion) https://www.claas-group.com/press-corporate-communications/press-releases/claas-presents-the-new-torion---the-first-wheel-loader-designed-for-agricultural-use-/1417276
