  1. Few years ago I bought in local Mueller store 2 of 42000 sets for some 92€ (for both) and ant the end of 2015 I bought 42043 for some 118€ - but few pneumatic cylinders were missing. Lucky for me at LEGO company there are very nice people and I've become whole bag with pneumatic elements. I use this opportunity to thank them again
  2. Very good for first time ... BTW is there a real car that was your inspiration for this model?
  3. It looks interesting and very well balanced. What body do you plan to install on chassis?
  4. I see that your masterpiece is done, so you can play with number of orange balls. Really good job Doug
  5. That was always the case. From my point of view it is only necessary to buy parts alone when you need something what is not in production anymore. When we talked about production; when can we expect first reviews of 2H this years "production" like 42069 or 42070 set?
  6. I understad. That is logical explanation
  7. @efferman that is correct, only on real truck outriggers do not stick out of chassis - that is a confusion point...Problem with LEGO Arocs is that mudguards are more narrow than chassis... Sorry for (to)late reply
  8. Looks like both frame and Audi logo are missing. But otherwise cool model
  9. This thing is growing and growing and (of course) taking proper shape. With 129 studs length you need permission to drive it around My suggestion is to make stickers rather that painting. Several years (before yellow technic racing medium wheels) I've made paint-job on silver futuristic wheels and when I try to remove yellow paint I managed to remove both yellow and silver paint - and result looks like wheel futuristic in old light gray color.
  10. Jim, sorry for late comment, but with those wheels model looks awesome. I can't wait to see 42069 set "modified" with tumbler wheels We hope for nice surprise, but waiting is all what we can do now. Perhaps some off-road (Jeep like) vehicle with smaller "tractor" wheels?
  11. Well it looks like Gallardo, but let us be surprised with development . Nice start, car is interesting in this orange color
  12. I love idea of suicide doors , but I think steering wheel is to small. Perhaps you can make some F1 style steering wheel since model is dedicated to 24 Hours of Le Mans Race? All in all very interesting project
  13. ...latest update include reinforced front axle, redesigned cab - now roof line and cab base line are parallel, and redesigned stairs as you can see on uploaded images... but what is not perfect for me are rim to tire proportions, now I need your appinion fellow Eurobrickers - is it better to switch back on 68.8 x 24 tires to make wheels well proportioned, or to leave that way? Thanks
  14. User @Offroadcreat1ons "earned" new status - Eurobricks Knight (like you my friend) with 500 or more posts. That was a reason for congratulations. I hope that things are more clear now before admins say to us - please go back to topic.
  15. But in reality cab + mudguards are giving overall width and chassis width is the same or less wide that mudguards e.g. real Arocs is some 2.5m wide and cab width is 2.3 to 2.5m wide . You understand why we say 17 studs - which is actualy width of mudguards.
  16. I can only congratulate You since mobile version has limited display options so I can not see number of posts. For second thing I have to ask admins to do that I have profile picture - my terrier, but because I mostly use my xperia smartphone (it is helpfull when building mocs) I constantly forgot or did not have time to make image with correct resolution. Thanks for looking after my posts number since I do not pay enough attention to that.
  17. Gearbox is most fascinating thing on this project
  18. We were talking (actually writing) about sets 8258 and 42043 - this two trucks (when we count studs on cab, tires are typical LEGO "problem" - always a bit wider than cab). 8285 set is US style tow truck with 19 studs width, but this is another story...
  19. Congratulation on new title - Knight of Eurobricks forum (lucky for us we are not in dark ages when only Knights of round table were acceptable)
  20. I agree that special set would be better - even to make anniversary chassis as actual set but to introduce some new parts like smaller differential as it is mentioned lots of time that there is no real differential in this 3 into 1 model.
  21. Take all time that you need, we won't run away
  22. Just one small thing (if someone mentioned earlier sorry to bump into discussion...), It looks like this panel in dark blue is used before in BWE (set 42055). Please take a look; so I could not say that this piece is in new color for set 42064 . Otherwise review is great for 42064 set as usual from Pavel. there is nothing to complain
  23. Great MOC. It seems that Lamborghini cars (from Countach until today because of their "wedge shaped" design evolution) are models that can be best represented by LEGO parts in comparison to other cars. Really beautiful and what is the most very accurate shape
