  1. What a sumptuous looking building Kristel! The color combo is perfect for a Bridal gown shop and it has some lovely interior details. Another winner.
  2. It looks fantastic! Lovely facade and plenty of good interior detailing. I'm chuckling to myself over the idea of minifigs trying to get a surfboard out through the revolving door though!
  3. I had finished my 42009 Mobile Crane and was having a problem with the Linear Activators - one was moving freely, but the other was stationary. I discovered a gearwheel I hadn't put in place deep in the bowels of the gearbox That required to dismantle and rebuild the assembly. Once finished the LAs worked fantastically well, but I've now got a couple of pins and a 5 Bar left over..... good grief!
  4. Good looking vig! And a really effective color choice.
  5. If you can ever drag yourself away from the Clermont then a decent pint of IPA from one of our many fine Breweries is waiting for you. I just really can't see it happening - it seems so far adrift of the other launched Ideas Sets in terms of piece count and audience. Our best hope may be to crowd-source it ourselves with the Designer's permission. Get the instructions developed, organize a BL store to cover the inventory, prep packages and send them out to subscribers.... Sounds like a plan I'm in!
  6. They'll be no hipsters in my town! But don't diss IPA.... I'm going to have to make a grungier distressed version of this set for it to fit in my town.
  7. Good looking MOC! The fireplace is particularly impressive.
  8. Suitably dark and ominous. I like it!
  9. Excellent idea and really well executed!
  10. Sweet ride imvanya!
  11. I've just been handed a Brand New MISB 42009 that the wife snagged up on a local community trading site for $75! Best. Wife. Ever!
  12. Tip of the hat for the Clermont reference! Now that put a smile on my face this morning. Back on topic. I know we're all desperate for info and images, but there's always raw MOCing and plenty of excellent instructions available online to satisfy those Modular urges.
  13. Both please! But I had to vote for one it would be the steering mechanism.
  14. As an ex-pat Brit living in rural Missouri and having spent time deejaying in Country bars I have a thousand stories to tell. But few of them are printable.
  15. Good looking vehicle, and I really like the front end, but at 6-wide it somehow seems a bit squished. How easy do you think it would be to make a 7-wide version?
  16. Yep! That was the design piece that really stood out for me too. Good design and I like the oversized guitar.
  17. Good grief! The first sign of Winter and everyone is building snow-ploughs! That is a perfect looking 4-wheel version. And well presented...
  18. Have a look at this tutorial thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97921 Good looking digger! I like the hydraulics and the outriggers.
  19. Excellent MOC! I love it - plenty of good details and some interesting textures on the facades. I especially like the ramshackle walls to the white cottage.
  20. You might try asking in http://bloks.hyperboards.com/
  21. From the Lego Idea Updates tab the builder says "After several months of re-design I have managed to reduce the piece count to 2700". That seems doable to me as a Lego Product, but that may be without the rear wall (it's not very clear on that point) Either way it'd be an impressive addition to the range.
  22. I remember this from when you first posted it, but this version is wonderful. Excellent job!
  23. Wow! That takes me back - the first MOC I ever submitted to this forum was a Greenhouse! Yours is excellent and the use of those garage doors gives it a light, airy feel. The raised benches and the suspended lights are a good detail. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  24. I'm not sure how I missed this thread when it first came out, but there some great looking vehicles there ER0L. I agree with you in that it's time to build grown up versions.
