  1. To begin with, your building process is very interesting, starting with actual planning in LDD and creating a great end product. It reminds me of building a great OOB set, that you longed for a long time, yet it's so much better, as you actually get to create the ''set''. As a whole, it works really well, telling a story of holidays, with lots of snow, santa and presents. The details on the facade are interesting, I like the monochrome colour scheme, as some of the details really stand out. Also, interior is interesting, although not all details are clearly visible. My favourite detail is definitely chandelier. Great work.
  2. I'm pretty sure that's the case. I can't find it on search (using set number or name), but it's there in the Creator section. I'm sure that's on purpose. I'm hoping for an early release too. I'm travelling to Germany just before Christmas, and I'd love to get the set then...ok, at least the first copy of the set...
  3. On German LEGO.com you can find the Parisian Restaurant under ''Creator'' category. This could be a reason why you can't find it under exclusives or new.
  4. Besides EB and slovenian LUG forum, which I frequent daily, I'm following also Flickr, Brickset, Brickshelf, MOC Pages, The Brothers Brick, Friends Brick, Model Building Secrets and Modulars on a weekly basis. I used to follow also Brick Town Talk and Classic Town, but stopped unfortunately as they haven't been updated for months now. They were really good and always had interesting (and inspirational) models.
  5. I have to say I'm positively surprised with the Mountain Hut. It's a small building, but it has some interesting parts, and a potential to be extended with couple more sets. The door in medium blue are a lovely detail. Also, the animal sets are nice, and they haven't done those for a while now, so it's good to see some variation in sets.
  6. The set is Friendly cute, and I'm very likely to get one. The large glass surface work well to reveal the inside of the bar, and extra fruit is always good. I love that a red apple is included, it haven't been available in sets for ages. We're getting a new Friend, Naya, and a silver (!) round ornament. I only wish they'd used flower designs from the first round of Friends, those are much nicer than the one used.
  7. This is a really lovely model of a small train station. The rounded front of the train is simply amazing, the snoted curve works perfectly for the cabin.
  8. Subix, you have a really nice collection of birds. The most impressive I find the use of various ''non-bird'' pieces, that you used to create birds' body parts. I like the bird with chima wings, however, the other species are even more spectacular considering their small size and diversity in parts usage. And as L@go said, they're very inspirational! Good job!
  9. Congratulations to the winners and everyone else that submitted a model. You did a great job!
  10. I always had (99% of cases) good experience with BL. I just wanted to comment on recycling zip bags. I do that as a seller, and I always keep zipbags from my BL purchases. I see not point of throwing them away, unless they're torn or something. I have never experienced a sticky bag, though. But I got a comment from one of the buyers once, that new zip bags should be used with new bricks, and recycled zip bags with used bricks. I'm not following that though, as sometimes, I get a new bag from a seller, and except for minor creases it still looks new. At least for me, it's not about being able to afford new zip bags, it's about reusing and recycling them.
  11. Although at first sight, it doesn't look as something to be described in superlatives, upon a closer and thorough inspection, it reveals its specialty. I was surprised to see so many pearl gold bricks, not to mention a whole carriage. It looks very impressive, and cleverly designed. As a whole, I like the ''length'' of the MOC, with lines of horses. The ornaments on the horses' straps work nicely. Also, eye guards are a fantastic details. Well done.
  12. Nice work! I like the colour scheme the most. A combination of white with a touch of dark and medium blue works perfectly. I'm not a big fan of hot rod cars, so I find it hard to comment, but I do like that you included different variations of hot rods. On the inside, there are many hidden details. I was surprised to see the darts inside, the red sofa looks very comfortable, and the outside chairs are a lovely design (great use of the phone). My favourite part of the MOC is the yellow bicycle with a missing wheel. All in all, it's a great MOC and I can see why you're one of the ''special'' ones working on LEGO Adventure Book (and congratulations for being invited again!).
  13. I like the new golden ornament, and the pink ones are a nice addition to ice-cream variety. The new bamboo/greenery would look great in some less tended green areas, as undergrowth.
  14. No problem, and thanks for letting me ''in''. I started reading all there is to know about the photography, and already learned some useful tips and tricks.
  15. I like the updated police theme mostly for some special bricks. The blue window/door frames look remind me of some older sets, and it's nice to see them back. Also, the robber's hideout has some dark red masonry bricks - hard to see though. That's definitely the highlight of the set for me.
  16. The project looks great and promising. I'm not so sure of the characters, as they're based on an old (but great) TV-series. As a MOC it's a fantastic kitchen with so many great details. I like the brown shutters as cabinet fronts, the iconic red phone on the wall, towel rack, and so on. Well done.

    MOC Sleds

The sleds are a great design, I like them more than a one piece-sled like in helicopters. The curved front is an excellent detail. And despite its lower sturdiness, the sleds look great. And welcome to EB!
  18. It looks sweet. It's instantly recognizable, and looks pretty simply built, considering its shape which is not so easy to capture with bricks. So is the due date for this little Eiffel known?
  19. This is outstanding! Starting from the bottom up, the water breaking at the ships's hull really shows off the geometry of the boat with all the ''curvyness''. Detailing and decorations are amazing as well, snoted sides add extra volume, and it looks very realistic. The least likeable detail (not that it's not impressive) are the ropes and sails - they have a tendency to hide all the amazing details.
  20. Ofcourse I want a full box, but can it be filled on the same day as you get it? Sometimes, there are limits as too what and how much you can get in one store.
  21. Thanks, I guess I should ask in the store when I get one. I'm planning another trip to Hamburg in late December, and it would be great to fill the box there (or later in February in Copenhagen).
  22. I'm enjoying Fun. lately. Their album Some Nights is playing most of the time. One of their songs I'm enjoying...
  23. How's PAB Box working? Is there a limit of when you can use one? I'm planing a trip in November to Lego Store, and it's going to be my first time to get a PaB box.
  24. Although I'm not a fan of modifying bricks, the building looks great, and your ''correction'' add to it. I like the hanging sign with the station's name, and the simple white facade with detailing. I can see the drilled-through jumper, but how were the plates around hinges modified?
  25. Great work on the landscaping. I'm not a fan of trees with bamboos, but they actually look good. The cabin looks lovely in this green setting, the only thing I can't figure out are the windows on the cabin. It' some old design, isn't it? It fits in nicely, with a small size, I'm only missing some shutters.
