Thanks all for your comments He does look kind of hunched, doesn't he, Rocketbilly? It's wasn't actually intended- the way the head was connected to the body gives it that effect- but I like how it looks now. I'll be posting more pics in due time of Terrence, hopefully in a place with better light, that one could more easily see the detail. Black is a difficult color to take pictures of.

In Stud-units, or compared to an official HF set? I'm not sure of the first, but he's just about as tall as Von Nebula(who luckily I still have put together). Maybe two or 3 'studs' under. Thanks for the feedback!

Decided I'd show off an older MOC, which I haven't put here yet, strangely. I believe you'll all know who this is, so without further ado... Enjoy. Let me know what you think in the comments. -Cirkit.

Hey all. It's me, back with another creation. This is Terrence, the troll. Got your usual shots here The 3/4 angle The Front The Back And the headshot The head's built around that one red cup-pin-pin-ball-pin-pin-ball part that comes in the Nitroblast set. It uses one SP paw for the jaw, some Exo-force fingers for teeth, two of the grey 3-hole Stormer XL parts to hold the black torsos to the face, and other bones to hold the snout in place. Body is pretty basic. One narrow torso, like seen in the new Breez set, plus one grey pin connector, with one XL torso, flipped upside-down, serving as the main torso. Everything else is pretty straightforward. All HF-Action Figure System. My only wish was to change the HF 2.0 armor part and the black SP paw(seen in Nex 3.0) on the back to silver. Couldn't find one part, didn't have the other in that color :/ Bio's straightforward. Basically, Terrence was experimented on at a young age, and given cybernetic implants throughout his body. He was dumped on a lonely asteroid, and left there for years. Hero Factory decided to build a satellite communications base on the asteroid. Terrence was mad, and attacked what he thought were the intruders. They were actually vandals, who had come to wreck the site, and didn't see Terrence coming till too late. Mr. Makuro caught wind of what was going on, and came at once to see Terrence. A villain's blaster went off when the ship Makuro was in made contact with the asteroid, and hit the unfinished control center. It sent a radio wave towards Terrence, which activated his communication-processing implants, and gave him a wealth of knowledge he hadn't had before. It was easier then to come to an agreement with the Troll. Terrence allowed HF to complete their base, but only if they would give him a place to stay in their factory. Since then, Terrence has become an 'honorary' member of the Hero Factory. His brute strength is highly valued, but his organizational skills have come in handy more than once. Terrence currently works the front desk in the lobby at Hero Factory on weekends, and whenever the front-desk bot is unavailable. Terrence keeps a close relationship to Makuro- every other Tuesday they play chess, or go nature-watching for a few hours. Also, Terrence is a troll, who likes high fives and pizza rolls. That is all. Enjoy. I'll put up more images of his torso later. -Cirkit

Banana-ammo belt!? LEGO people, you have me impressed. I kind of like how Cragger's figure looks, head and blades in particular. Shame he won't get the shells on his thighs in dark green like in the other pic.. Laval looks pretty cool, though I am a little disappointed his feet won't be SP paws. Better for balance this way, true, but still. Can't see the bird clearly, but dark red is desirable. Definitely.

I believe I saw a blue brain on the dragon as well.. I like the function of the weapons shown in the episode, like with Breez's blades folding, or Bulk's drill unfolding, or Rocka's blades coming out.. I swear, Furno looked like a Toa with his fire sword for a quick second there.. :D The episode ought to be good, whenever it comes out. I wonder if there will be any mention of Breez' unseen encounter with Thornraxx?

Well, those look different. Honestly when I imagined 'constraction', I instantly thought of LEGO's Hero-Factory and the Ultrabuild Superhero sets. I think they'd look better in LEGO than they do in Kray-o or whatever that brand is called. Here they look a little.. awkward. But, they are functional, transform-able, and I like that. With LEGO you probably would only be able to keep the bots in their robot forms, but that's what customization is for.. I'll have to wait for a review before I decide if I like em or not.. The only ones that do catch my interest are Bee, Soundwave, and that Blitzwing guy. Purple and olive green go oddly well together.

To me, with the leg-blades and blaster being in the same place, it just kind of looks like a Hero-Factory version of Krika. Not a bad thing, as Krika was my favorite set of the Mistika era. But it could use something to make it appear different to Krika, more original. It must be said that the head design is pretty cool- like that you gave this insect mandibles while still keeping his red eyes. Clever.

The bus looks great. I like the black stripes down the side, and I like how the nose and rear lights are- they look just right, shape-wise. My only qualms with the bus are that the doors to let the kids out are too high off the ground, normally when I see a school bus the doors go almost all the way to the ground- I think you'd need to stand on a box to get in the door of this bus; and the rear wheels. I agree with the others who said so before, they should be further away from the rear. Other than that, I think you've done a terrific job making this school bus. Well done to you. :) By the way, can it fit any Minifigures inside, or is it not big enough?

I think the silver makes it appearance look rather striking. It's impressive for only using parts from one set. It looks like a Rhino in its general appearance, it's bulked-up and well covered(no huge gaps or anything), color scheme is great, and I like how the Quaza-spikes look here- they make it look exciting, and I imagine they would if one saw that beast charging at a foe.. so long as it wasn't charging at the one watching. I'm surprised I didn't comment on this earlier.. it's a great creation made from limited parts, and I really like that about it. Great job, Sparky.

I'd really like to see different teams, different Heroes at least as well. Perhaps new colors could be mixed in with the colors we have now to make interesting looking Heroes? For whatever reason, dark/earth/Metru Red and orange feel like they could be a good combo. And perhaps another female Hero or two? It would be rather interesting to see what the designers do with a new female, with all these newer parts at their disposal... :D

Finally! Someone finds a use for that half-circle bowl looking part. I like it! Body's definitely a unique shape, and he keeps his round smooth appearance all around. I like the purple lilac as well. He certainly is an interesting bot.. great work on this one :)

Three things. One: I totally dig Jet Rocka. Box reminds me of the 'Phantoka/Mistika' Bionicle era just a bit. Rocka himself kind of does look like a black Buzz Lightyear, but I like that about the set. Also appears to have two of those massive Technic-guns on his back, firing big rubbery missiles. Nice. The idea that he's being sent into space to fight the Brains as they attack isn't so far-fetched. I could see it working rather easily, but someone would have to be up there to assist Rocka- one Hero against an army of brain-aliens doesn't seem like much, but one in a jet-suit like Rocka's evens the odds a little. Two: The other sets from what we can see in the picture look okay. Laughed at Zachattacx's 'polar opposite' joke. Ba-dum-tiss. It looks like there's gonna be two kinds of ice villain this wave. I see a taller dude with skinny legs and one eye just above the Ice Monster seen in the trailer. Just above that I see something that looks like it could be Surge, but the blades remind me of the energy swords used by the Covenant in 'Halo', and Surge looks a little hunched over for some reason. Maybe it's the pose. That dragon thing.. it looks bony but it could work. Can anyone tell what that thing is below the blue dragon, just above the beer bottles? It looks black with a yellow blade.. hmm. And Three: Aanchir sums up the Breez/Nex thing well. Nex as a flirty tech adds a new dimension to his character I think. It would be surprising if any reference to this romance idea was brought up in the story.. be it as realization or as something in the media which both Heroes shrug off. Could be funny. I hope Hero Factory keeps going throughout the New Year. Things are only just starting to heat up!

Just found a ton of Furno XLs at my local Target, but there don't appear to be any small sets yet. Shame, seeing as I really wanted to pick up a Breez that trip. None of the other stores in the area have any of the other sets.. yet. I'm hoping they come soon. The slugs in the commercial transform in a different way than in the TV episode preview.. Not bad, and the CG's good too.

Wow that is awesome. It looks great, love the use of the Ninjago Dragon head for this. He looks sturdy and well-armored, and he's got a great set of blades there as well. I agree with ZORK64 about the armor color. Perhaps if a part or two were changed to another color, like dark blue or dark red, then he would look better armored, or at least just a few pieces on the 'crotch' and the upper legs to signify shorts or something. Otherwise.. I am very impressed. If you're thinking Dragons inhabited Chima in the past, I think maybe they were all greedy, and took their greed and possible bloodlust too far, causing the other tribes to drive them out from their old homes, away from the other villages, and up into the Dead Black Mountains of Chima, where they would live forevermore as outcasts, and eventually become Legendary beings.... ...or something like that

More and more, Bulk in his new form has grown on me. The helmet looks great. It's enough like Bulk to be recognizable, but the new details on the face mix things up a little. I really like it. I think all that needs to be done to the set is to add a second silver shoulder pad, and to bulk up the drill.. And that would be satisfactory for me :)
-
Don't need another Rocka this wave, but the dragon sounds awesome. The Frost Monster I assume is the thing seen in the video.. cool. Still think that Stringer would look awesome as a Breakout hero. I can almost imagine the helmet now..
-
Bulk's not the best of the lot, but he was done pretty well. Flick-fire missile is unnecessary, but the drill is pretty cool. Helmet looks similar to the original and has character, plus the visor is a great part. Hands are a bit annoying in their being orange, but the colors are balanced in this set. More and more I find myself liking this Bulk, and the review definitely helped. Wish I could see a close- up of his helmet, though. Another thought just came to mind. Now that the new helmet is available, I wonder how many people will be attempting 'Brain Attack' Threshers? Unlikely I think, due to where Thresher is in the story, but not impossible.

Double-jointedness and added height are nice, as is the 'thumb' on the paw there, but I agree with Aanchir about the staff. Also, the lack of the spinny function is a little disappointing too. Spinny spinny spinny!! Having said that, the addition of a chain to the tool is an interesting choice, and probably wouldn't have worked otherwise. Neat mod. :)

Axonn is brill, but Brutaka.. While the color scheme is great, and the sword awesome, something just lacked in Brutaka(in my opinion), versus Axonn. I'd actually have the set in my hands to decide otherwise... or see a video review. Also, it sucks that in the story, Botar(Axonn and Brutaka's sets combine to make this being) dies. He's such an imposing figure, but I guess he could only be taken so far.
-
Yes, yes, and more YES. Looks enough like the original gun to work with Stringer (the Technic thing on the end there to make the 'butt' of the gun is pretty cool), but bigger and definitely more badass. Really like what you did there. EDIT: Is it okay to say 'badass' on here? As for the Brains.. well.. creepy.
-
Lots of new colours, that face, the brain, and those delishous translucent parts.. definitely a must-have for me. I agree with Front about the claws, but one could just take a spare Scarox and add those trans mandibles on somehow..
-
I've seen that gun before, on Deviantart- It's megablocking awesome! If any Ultrabuild figure, let alone a Hero Factory one, had a gun like this in a future set, that would be terrific! And totally mindblowing! Kind of related, cuz he and Nex had guns last wave, but I wonder how the designers are going to do Stringer. For whatever reason, a dark-blue rock star 'Darth Vader' keeps popping in my head.

A cute puppy with horns. I wanna give that Pyrox lots of hugs. Then put some ointment on my burns from Pyrox's glowing hot body. And then run like hell away when the Brain Slug attacks it. Did you notice, on Bruizer and Orgum, where the brain would have been in the set, there was a piece of 3M cladding instead? That was a nice touch there I think. Also, TV Bulk actually looks pretty awesome. I'm not as bothered by the orange, though the trans orange does look kind of red now, doesn't it? And then there's his hand.. It keeps to the set being partially orange, but there's grey in there too like he's always had before, and I really like that.
-
Think you doubled that group picture there. No matter. It is pretty cool seeing the Fire -Lord like that. As far as Fire-Lord revamps go, this one is pretty good. He looks better armored, stronger, and the color scheme doesn't look as hectic as before. I love the flames bursting off his back, that ties him in very well with the fire-theme. It's a shame his bladed-weapon is gone, I rather liked that aspect of the original set, but the sword(pulled directly off Furno XL I see), looks a fair bit better to me. The orange on the legs isn't as distracting as before, thanks to the armor, and I like that you reused the Furno torso almost entirely. Speaking of the legs, I'd like to know how you attached the outside bones on the legs to the torso. I can't really see what's going on there in the pictures. Overall.. it's pretty good. Nice work :)
