  1. Yes! You did join Spectacular build, so unique, and well constructed The stonework is fabulous, I especially like how you managed the corner accents. The dark green roofs fit beautifully, and the various additions, my favorite being the porch/walkway out back, all add a lot of visual interest Another small thing I really appreciate, is how you made a slightly larger foundation for the bottom of the tower
  2. Really cool layout to have street run right through the building! The roof lines, and windows are excellent too And as FullPlate said, the rounded look of the tree's canopy is quite good. Cool bed design inside, and I like the stocked shelves
  3. Very pretty build, the green landscape with dark tan paths looks great. The little fishery, and animal pens are great additional details to the already excellent abbey
  4. Such a beautiful scene, so inviting and peaceful. The round base looks wonderful, and I love the paths leading through the grasses, and tree atop the hill Inspiring!
  5. Good color and textures for a desert landscape Cool cart and warrior combos as well!
  6. Glad to have you in Mitgardia! The purple and yellow for the stand really pop, and I like the barrel rack arrangement Excellent water too
  7. That's a big city, even for you! I love the huge connecting bridge, and the brighter colored section on the left
  8. I like how you mixed in dark red in this one The gold roofs look sweet too. Mindbogglingly huge and detailed as usual
  9. Cool arrow slits, and nice wall texturing with the occasional SNOT plates, and dark tan plates The statue is a nice detail as well
  10. Congrats to all the winners, I'm highly pleased that my build placed 3rd among so many amazing entries
  11. My figs arrived recently, thanks again EB for hosting this amazing raffle!
  12. Excellent version of the council scene The diagonal tiling looks amazing, and I like the curving wall
  13. Thanks Titus I too probably prefer Nordheim Keep slightly, but this is still one of my favorite builds ever. Thanks Full Plate! Thanks Gunman Thanks Kai! Glad to hear you mention those slits, I think you're the first to comment on them, and they were one of my favorite designs in the build. Thank you Thanks Blufji! I've amassed a considerable amount of bley over the years, but this build used most of it. And I always disassemble builds and recycle the parts into new creations ,though this particular MOC was kept together for over a month. Thanks! Thank you, and I'm not sure how many parts exactly, but in bley 2x2 tiles alone there were a couple large PaB cups full. Thanks! Thanks LV Thanks Jacob, I love those 1x3 arches. Thank you Thanks Gideon, I rather like the more regular stone look, but some studs left exposed might improve it, and would definitely help save on tiles
  14. I like your landscaping style here, good color mixing, and some nice rockwork Great action poses for the fight scene too
  15. Another brilliantly gorgeous tree, and landscape in general The water, and sea weed give a great seaside effect Excellent story as usual. As to the how to make a forest issue, I've never really done a proper one myself, but Blufiji had a nice balance in this epic MOC:
  16. Thanks John! Thanks, this was my first time using that roof technique to simulate a thatched roof Thanks Kai, it does look rather chibi Well thanks Titus I'm sure all the other amazing builders in GoH helped influence your decision to stay too, though. Thanks! Thanks Captain Thanks Balbo, those exo force arms are one of my favorite pieces to use as wooden decorations. Thanks! Thank you Thanks Blufiji Thanks Graham Thank you, Kayne. Funny, I hadn't noticed how big it does look, until you mentioned that Thanks! I'm definitely not the first to use this ground technique, I have grown quite fond of it though Thanks Gunman! Thanks LV Thanks Jacob I'd love to see your take on a good solid keep sometime And while I do like this a lot, I think my phase III gatehouse is even more impressive. Thanks Full Plate!
  17. Nice cobbled road, and landscape too. A bush, or sapling would look nice next to the road
  18. Good use of the lightsaber hilt thingy to attach the flags I like how you illustrated the story, and the bits of wooden walls around. I think the build is a little overfull of reddish brown, though, with both the ground and walls being largely that color. Going with all dark tan, or another color other than RB for the ground probably would work well
  19. And another freebuild, Gatehouse Phase III:
  20. Thanks Graham! Thanks Jacob I often try to portray the story as much as possible with the build, though I should probably start making some more detailed stories too.
  21. Here's my build for the third Gatehouse Phase, it is an 'old' build, in that I built it late last year, but I thought it was worth saving it to use as the final gatehouse phase, as I'm really proud of it. This is my first Castle model entirely based off of a real castle: Bodiam Castle in England. I built only the front wall, and it isn’t scaled perfectly, but I think it’s close enough to be quite recognizeable. Also I changed the bridge layout, because of space limitations. See a picture of the real Bodiam castle here: Link There’s no interior this time, though the portcullis and main doors are functional. Fun fact(s): this build weighed over 17 pounds, and used more bley tiles than any of my previous MOCs. Bodiam castle rests on a lake in southern Mitgardia, and is well known for its impressive round towers, and large gatehouse: See more pictures, here. Thanks for looking
  22. Lots of intimidating warriors here! Fun snowy base for the battle scene too. Welcome to the guilds
  23. Thanks! Thanks Titus, the AoM builds are fun that way Thanks Puvel! Thanks John Thank you! Thanks, and the ground is quite simple, just plates scattered pretty much Thanks Blufiji, the brown grass only came in one set, an old Star Wars one, Cloud City, I believe. Thank you! Thanks Thanks Gunman, I had fun with the little wall Thanks Windusky! Thanks Kai Thanks, and I wouldn't either Thanks LV! Thanks Gideon, it's always great when pictures turn out well Thanks! Thank you
