  1. Here's my build for the second Gatehouse phase. I used a similar ground texture to what I did in my previous build, “Start of a Journey,” and tried a different stone wall design for the gatehouse. The warrior returns to Nordheim’s welcoming gate after a long journey through the clan lands of Mitgardia. More pictures are available on my website: link Thanks for looking!
  2. Neat look with the path leading through the rock formations I think the path looks a bit blocky right now though, some wedge plates, or more gradual stepping of plates would smooth the transitions
  3. 23) Monster Scientist (Captain Flint) - 1 point 66) Explorer (dimleon) - 1 point 71) Gargoyle (GuloTheSavage) - 1 point
  4. 12) Kendo Fighter (Leopold) - 1 point 44) Ballerina (QBeat) - 1 point 48) Ballerina (Pakita) - 1 point
  5. Stunning build, Ecc and Tijger-San! So many epic shops, and landscape details The train and water tower are great additions as well. And I love the variety of brick built signs
  6. Man, Gideon, you sure know how to put up a strong showing in contests Congrats to all the winners, and just as much so to every participant, there were plenty of great MOCs And of course, thanks Ecc, and the GoH team, for hosting this!
  7. Your builds still fit in perfectly, and what would Mitgardia be without Steen Larsson?!
  8. My brother, LittleJohn, and I plan to be at Brickfair VA this year, displaying lots of GoH stuff.
  9. Ah! That's quite clever, and something I'll have to remember if ever use a lot of those corner round bricks
  10. Wowzers! That is one stunning gate! I especially like your use of the round brick corner parts, with jumper plates? stick out of the gaps occasionally Superb shape too, with the curving walls, and buildings that match that curve inside. Even the landscape is impressive, with some great sand dunes and good use of plants
  11. Fun to see your signature style in an Avalonian environment The grassy pebbly path is great, something I'll have to remember for future builds And of course, your stonework is excellent as always
  12. Here's my build for the 1st gatehouse phase in Age of Mitgardia. I wanted to experiment with ground texture, and was inspired by K.Kreations, and Brick Vader. A warrior sets out from one of Nordheim’s outer gates, headed into the tundra of Mitgardia. Gates closed: Thanks for looking, more pictures can be found on my website, link. As always, your comments and suggestions are quite welcome
  13. Excellent storage cave, the tilted door looks great, and the vines are a nice touch I like the fig posing with the guy rolling the barrel as well, I'll have to remember that pose for future builds
  14. Cool SNOT floor, and I like the inclusion of those large arches in the wall And you made good use of the CMF baseplates for the stairs too
  15. Very pretty castle! I like your use of log bricks at the corners, and the additions between towers look amazing too The tudor sections up top finish it off nicely, along with the nicely detailed cobblestone base
  16. Good use of those lion heads The Nexo Knight baddies do work well as some sort of underworld guardions/warriors
  17. Another stunning creation! I like how you added stone foundations to your new wooden wall design, and the boat and trees look simply magnificent
  18. I wouldn't have thought of using leaves on top of the SNOT dark green base, but it works very nicely Great roof on the hut too
  19. Another hilarious batch of funnies I particularly like the 'undead' one, which makes so much sense, and the name stealing ones
  20. I thought we might see Vladivus in some form again. The lava moat/river is a great choice for a Nocty environment The storyline, as always, is quite interesting, and I like how you illustrated the duel
  21. Cool composition with the two 'islands' irregularly connected Excellent crumbling wall look, and the trebuchet looks great. Good use of the new bear shield in the wall, and the black and red floor pattern adds some nice contrast with the stone walls
  22. That statue design is definitely something I'll remember for builds of my own in the future Lots of good detailing all over here, I like the fireplace and doorway especially
