  1. Excellent vignette, with some great dynamic water scenery The little frog on the lily pad is the perfect finishing touch
  2. Excellent farm look, with the stone wall, horse hitching post, and the pigs' trodden area The capes on the bed are a good way to simulate blankets too As someone who has worked with livestock, including pigs, I can assure you that an animal lying on its side does not indicate that it is dead.
  3. Thanks Titus Thanks BrickCurve, you may be right about the leaves. I wanted to show the fallen leaves around the tree, densely covering the ground around it, like in real life, and since there wasn't a tree on the other side I left out the leaves. Thanks Kai, glad you noticed the mop, I feel the same way about that hairpiece Thanks Blufiji! Glad you liked it Thanks
  4. Arangr Castle: Winter And a group shot (also link to higher definition version):
  5. The fourth and final phase of my project to show Arangr Castle through all 4 seasons. See spring, summer , and fall. What was your favorite season? Arangr castle is located near the Avalonian border, in Mitgardia. Winter brings snow and ice to the countryside, and an unusual quiet, as most animals are in hibernation of have migrated to warmer climates. Fortunately a good harvest has provided plenty of food for the castle’s residents. Inside a feast is begun, and the minstrels are just arriving. See a large res picture of all 4 seasons together, here. And see more pictures of 'winter' here: link Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed this series
  6. Excellent interior, the first floor is particularly well detailed, with the clever chair and shelves, and armor in addition to the bookshelves The brown flex tubing holding the flags looks a little odd to me, perhaps some more traditional looking wooden rafters would fit better with the interior scene
  7. Very pretty cottage! The sheer cliffs look great here, and I like the flags in the border
  8. The upper balcony area adds a nice dynamic to the scene And that scroll design is excellent
  9. Neat jungle look with the plants here, and the wooden pillar things make good use of those wing elements
  10. Impressive group of dragons! They remind me of Nuju Metru's designs, which is definitely a good thing You did a good job making each unique through different color use, and shaping. Looks like quite an elite force
  11. This is magnificent! Such brilliant use of colors and patterns throughout Congratulations on the well deserved blog on The Brother's Brick, and I think you have a really good shot at a prize with this
  12. Superb use of what pieces you two did have to work with The trans colors make this really eye catching
  13. Nice group of soldiers there As TV and LV suggested, tiling the floor, and top of the walls, and adding some more details inside would make the build pop more
  14. Fall version of Arangr Castle:
  15. The third phase of my project to show Arangr Castle through all 4 seasons. This was a fun season to build, as it being the time of harvest, I was able to have lots of fun minifig details. As well as some fall foliage, which is always neat. Arangr castle is located near the Avalonian border, in Mitgardia. Fall sees the harvest of crops, and storage of provisions for winter. The leaves fall, as the weather gets colder, and animals also make preparation to hibernate or migrate south. As usual, there are more pictures on my website: link Thanks for looking, one season left
  16. @dathil: LDD is fine for freebuilds, there are several members who use only LDD. Often it's not allowed for the official challenges, but that doesn't stop you from making unofficial entries. Great mill design
  17. Of course any decision made by any member of the AG staff will be respected, but from the storyline of this build, I thought that LittleJohn was gathering info on Octan: "Un-like most of my previous missions, this one involved infiltrating an Octan base and gathering information about a chemical that accelerated plant growth." "Now to take it back to the lab for the scientists to test and analyze." It seems to me that infiltrating another corporation's base, and gathering info, and also in this case, a physical sample of something they've developed, is spying. Just my opinion, I may just be totally confused with all the spying and piracy going on As for the build itself: very cool jungle look you have going, LJ, and thanks for including Isaac, even if his shortcomings as a pilot were exposed
  18. Stunning winter scene The woodwork framing the stone sections on the tower look superb, and very Mitgardian The hot spring is a really fun idea too, and well executed
  19. Excellent start to your GoH builds, the bridge is especially cool, but I also like the road sign and how you have the helmets balanced on the bushes Good use of the prefab pine trees as well
  20. Well then, I'll have to see if I can make even cooler stuff Thanks Blufiji, you don't have long to wait now Thanks, winter will be pretty cool, and probably require the most changes out of any season Thanks Graham! Thanks LV Than you, autumn should be up within 2 days

  22. Location: E03, Ertauq Tags: Land Vehicle, Vehicle, Job: Driver Start Log: I got to try out a MANTIS vehicle prototype this week, and what a car it is! Rugged, fast, powerful, and able to handle some moderately rough terrain. It also packs some hidden weaponry: And unlike Octan vehicles, it's easy to pilot. Thanks for looking
