I was planning on changing his arms to fleshy arms and giving him green hands to resemble Ward a little more. Of course he won't be 100% like the original 60s Robin, just like the Batman here isn't 100% like Adam West. As far as Lego is concerned, I think they look close enough to a general audience.

I'm extremely tempted to get that Junior Batman set if for the 60s Batman and Robin alone. That and those new pieces used on the bombs Joker's catapulting, aren't they the same bowls from the Parisian Restaurant set?

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
Amset-Rah replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
^I can see why Twilight's scepter is a meme. That sheepish grin is priceless and some of the memes are amazing (Ever see the Pink Floyd/The Wall pic with the marching Twilight Scepters instead of the hammers?) As for Korra, I never really checked it out, mainly because I never saw Avatar either, but I hear it's great. Should I give it a watch sometime, because I'm a bit curious. -

I think this one's my favorite of your series, Oky. The figures align perfectly and as always the quality is crystal clear. Bravo, my good man! -
Alright, here are my thoughts on these sets: Spider-Trike: Not the best build, but Electro, if he does indeed have trans-arms and a head, will be worth the price of admission alone. Doc Ock truck: Probably the best build of the Spider-Man sets. I like the classic Doc Ock figure and how they didn't give him the same tentacles from the game (As others have said, they look cool, but highly unstable) Spider-Copter: Ridiculous concept, but a decent build by the look of things. Mary Jane and Power Man are easily the highlights (Not really keen on Megafigure Goblin here), but again, the build is decent enough and could be redone in different colors for other purposes, I suppose. Capt. America: Probably my pick for "Must have" of the wave. The tank design could be better, but knowing this is Lego and they rarely if ever do militaristic vehicles, it's best not to look a gift horse in the mouth. I, again, love the minifigs (Red Skull and classic Capt. are beautifully done) and the set itself warrants a purchase. Hulk's Lab: Another must have. The minifigure selection is well done and as a whole I like how they used designs from the game with these guys. I can't really judge the build too much, since the artwork has panels flying so without them it looks a little bare, but I like the design and it's actually a location rather than a vehicle, so again, I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. Overall, I think this is a decent line. Kids will certainly like it, and I myself am excited over some of these sets.

It's the Chima skunk head. Skinnett, I think (Correct me if I'm wrong, guys, I'm not that huge on Chima)

My local Walmart has most of the sets in stock except for the small Cole set, which is strange, but I'm certain he'll pop up soon. I didn't pick any up quite yet because they were just put on the shelves and the price scanners said "See sales associate for assistance" so I assumed they weren't for sale just yet. I could be dead wrong, but I'd rather be wrong than right here.

This is superb! I saw it on Deviantart and was impressed all the same. Even if this doesn't get picked on Cuusoo, you should definitely share the instructions for those who want to make one of their own, since all you used were a couple of Kai's Fire Mechs and the Iron Man ultrabuild.

I thought the MLP opener was good, though a little bland compared to the previous openers. Discord was awesome, as always, and the flashbacks were neat. Twilight learning how to take responsibility with her newfound royalty is a good move, and helped the story nicely. Overall, a good way to kick off the season, but it could have had a little more spice to it. -
Horror Stories - Lego you bought off flea-bay and BL
Amset-Rah replied to DrJB's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I never used Bricklink, though I have an account there just in case, so my experience with them is limited. Ebay, however, has been fairly good to me, and I bought both new sets, used sets, as well as figures and bulk lots and I haven't had a bad egg yet. -
The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Amset-Rah replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, this is the first line since Monster Fighters where I'm dead set on buying the entire line, but props to Lord Business' lair, Cloud Cuckoo Palace, and the vehicles (Add me to the "I want that Ice Cream Truck" bandwagon). Minifigures aren't too bad either, especially the barista, Shakespeare, Lincoln, and plenty of awesome new molds on figures I'm not to hot on (Like the beehive hairdo on that secretary bot)- 2,626 replies

It's funny, I just now got back into rewatching the Golden Girls, and this is a great project, a near perfect rendition of the Girls' kitchen. My only real complaint is Blanche's hair, but it's not entirely your fault since Lego hasn't made a lot of old lady-friendly hair and that's the best choice, all things considered. With all of the 80s things on Cuusoo, some of which have been approved like BTTF, I think we have a winner on our hands. Supported.

Kibosh-It was the Joker from the Batwing 2012 set.

I have to agree. While some of the other minifig packs offered something worthy of the price (Like the inclusion of CMFs or unique parts) this has nothing. All I can see this being useful for are generic pirates or replacement Monster Fighter heads. I can skip this with no regrets.

Action Themes Halloween: Spook Central
Amset-Rah replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I am going all out with this. After watching some Halloween Wars on TV the other night, I was wondering if we'd do some Halloweeny things here at EB. My wish was granted, and I can't wait to see what everyone will come up with in these contests. -
That Penguin set looks just like I expected, at least the duck-boat thing (Someone said it's a nod to Batman Returns). Scuba Bats is definitely a surprise for sure, and I'd love to get a clearer picture of him before I judge him for real.

By length, they mean the size of the baseplate you use or baseplates that add up to that size (At least with the 16 x 16 contests). In this case, I'd go with using the baseplate as, well, a base and go from there.- 7 replies

This guy's my favorite City figure so far. He's actually on par with CMF territory as far as City minifigs are concerned. Although that crook, even with his reused face (It's new to me) has sort of a Judas Priest leather thing going on with that jacket.

New one! Just in time for Halloween, a little warning about too much of a good thing (I.E. Candy) can make you sick. -
^Love that BTTF shot! Here's my latest pic. Nothing too fancy, just a Joker.
