  1. I would doubt it will. GWPs usually are offered one or two times with the Majisto set having the first time last week and the second now. The VIP and Black Friday offers the last years were not offered again also as far as I remember ;). You never know though but it would surprise me. When it showed up when you ordered, you should get it. Anyways with the offers the US got it doesn´t surprise me that the GWP is sold out already, along with offers like the Castle or the Galaxy Explorer, while in Europe and Australia they are still avaiable.
  2. I would guess that you safe money by doing so given you don´t need to design a new print, and then make the forms for the print. But you will still need the money for logistics for instance.
  3. Yeah, letting personal preferences aside. US clearly got the best deals. Lion Knights Castle, City of Lanterns, UCS Razor Crest, Chinese New Year sets and other Exclusives while Australia and Europe didn´t got good offers. Just a huge disappointement. The only good thing about it is that I saved a lot money, since with the US offers I might have bough quite a lot...
  4. Comparing the Insider deals Europe didn´t had the best deals - but in the end it always depends on personal preferences, what sets you are looking for. Anyways we neither got 3 or 4 times VIP points on some sets and neither did we get an Black Friday/Insiders Livestream. And if the Galaxy Explorer and Lion Knights Castle are only discounted in the US it will be very hard to beat those offers IMO. But we will have to see what deals in each region we are really getting.
  5. There is a quite good instruction on LEGO Harry Potter Sets zum großen Hogwarts kombinieren: So geht's! (stonewars.de) - it is in german though, but maybe the pictures help you (and nowadays browser usually offer translation, so...)
  6. Maybe you should read the comment I answered to first before you answer to mine ;). There a set with Thorin and his fellowship was suggested which clearly is hobbit and not LOTR. Also it should have been clear to you that I know that Bag End also is in the LOTR, hence my comment on that they could make the set for both Hobbit and LOTR - but as I stated above it just seems to be to many minifigs, since you would need Two Bilbos, Thorin and his Fellowship, Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin. Not impossible for them to make that many minifigures, but might also depend on how big they choose to make the whole set? Would for sure be top one in both size and price ;)
  7. I agree with you that I think that Barad-Dûr will have less buyers/interest than Rivendell had, but I wouldn´t worry that they won´t make more sets like that because it would sell bad.
  8. Bag End would definitely be a good choice, though I am not sure if they would do an Hobbit Set. LOTR seems to be way more popular. I could see them doing a set based both actually - but then again it might just be to many minifigures needed for that. I also could see them doing The golden Hall of Edoras, which would actually benefit from the Viking Village already bringing back the 4x1 tile that was in both the old Edoras and Viking set. Though most recommended likely would be Minas Tirith - which likely would be only doable as microscale - or would be just the white tower and surroundings such as the white tree. Personally, I would be interested getting the Mines of Moria, though that doesn´t seem to be the most likely set to get.
  9. A bit more modern, than I thought it would be, but else it is like I have expected. As for the threshold. I would guess 150-170€.
  10. I haven´t seen any rumours about them yet - but I wouldn´t wonder if they would make more. Since they are exclusive to Lego, leaks for them usually drop later than for other sets.
  11. Egypt IMO is the most Iconic one of these, so it should be definitely that one. But I don´t see that happening as long as Indiana Jones is still out there. As for bringing the theme back - I don´t see that happening anytime soon. It would be more likely they try to do an Adventures wave in City honestly.
  12. That is what I was talking about, and actually it might be a subtheme (moments) with and subsubtheme (space) :P. I think Brickset will just list it as Subtheme Moments Space though. Anyways. The point is that labeling it as Moments: Space kinda implies that it is a Theme that is made for Retro Sets, which would lead to it beeing a Blacktron ship - and not only some random black ship.
  13. That and the new Theme that is created for it. I mean, while still a leak we know nothing for certain but with the info we got it would be surprising to get something else at this point. The only info I have no idea how it would fit into that theme is the supposed customizational hair pieces.
  14. It is said that they have strict rules for this colour to only be used as skin, so I doubt that.
  15. Here it especially says till when you have to order your parts to get them till christmas (normal parts are 20th november). So you should be able to get them in time, although you never know. But last order I put arrived pretty quickly, though I think there are a lot orders placed on insiders, so it might take some more time till they arrive than back then.
  16. That actually is something that I would be interested to know too. If it is more like, they have a budged of lets say ten and a mould costs 4 a print 1 and a recolour 2 or something like that. Well do we actually know that the CMF series used the budged for it? I mean I wouldn´t wonder if it did, but it actually is also possible that they shared the budged for instance.
  17. We get Space and Castle in the first months of the year, so far we know the leaks. And I am actually pretty sure they didn´t move those sets to another release day, but planning to do two waves, which is why I think we will get at least one set in summer around the time we got the lion knihts castle, galaxy explorer and eldorado.
  18. Well the castle won´t retire this year, so you still got plenty time for that left, and surely it will be discounted again.
  19. Well the castles Sets don´t have to be that big. The Galaxy Explorer is only 100€ and the Blacktron ship we are going to get next year is rumoured to have the same price - so I don´t see why they couldn´t make Castle sets of that size too. Larger Sets also tend to stay around longer, so I don´t think they would want to make to many big sets from that theme and might just make some medium sized Sets instead.
  20. Yes, the the in one Castle Set is another of these Sets. I would guess the ones selling it for higher price don´t buy it from Lego directly but from other sources, and the one discounting it is the only shop actually getting it from Lego.
  21. As long as they are selling well I think they will keep doing them. And since they seem to do pretty well, I don´t think they are going to stop making such sets in the next years. But yeah, also pretty sure they won´t make a new theme anytime soon either.
  22. That set is partly exclusive, so only Lego and one of their exclusive Partners will have this set. Same as Target has the viking village and the others won´t have that one.
  23. I ordered the Medieval Blacksmith with the Insiders discount and the Galaxy Explorer + some retiring pieces to reach the threshold. Together with the GWPs and double points not a bad deal IMO, since both sets usually don´t get that high discounts anyways.
  24. That is exactly what I meant how Majisto should look like. Well, they could have moved the cord a bit lower, added a little bag to it and they would have had a great Majisto, with just ones printed Part more, Most of the upper body is covered by the beard anyways, so letting that unprinted wouldn´t have been an issue when the details are on the skirt part.
  25. I would actually rather think they will be sold out by then. We now have two big shopping events after another and since you can´t get it for big discounts elsewhere normally, it is one of those sets I would think people will buy there. Might be Lego does know that too and they made sure to have some more in stock, that actually could survive Black Friday - but I wouldn´t count on it.
