Was it announced somewhere that this season would be the final one? I have seen a discussion here about it somewhere but that sounded more like someone would think it would end rather than it was announced to be the last one

Well of course not. But it isn´t like it would need to have any minifigure. I mean, if you look at licensed Series they can´t make every figure they would want to either.

The point is the regular use goes from one Stud connection to several studs connection on the same part. Let´s say we have a 16x16 plate. They build 1x1 bricks on that aswell as 1x16. Or plates and several other pieces.

I would guess that when a minifig has hair it will be listed with that one and the helmet or hat will become an accessoire. The hair however isn´t listed because it is part of the minifigure and all minifigure parts are listed only as part of the minifigure ;).

Well to be honest, sure they could make an medieval market (a modern one in this case where people are just dressed like that) or a castle as a museuum. But how likely would that be? I basically see zero chance for that happening. More likely they would make a themepark with themes attractions or something like that. But the most likely option I am seeing for getting a themed castle or pirates cmf is it just beeing by itself.

Which wouldn´t make sense, since you don´t know how the parts will be connected, nor will they always be connected the same way. For instance you can put two 4x4 plates on another or you could just put them together using only 4 studs - or even less.

I agree completely here. I think there is no good way to stop certain figures from beeing taken out without making it hard for everyone to guess what is inside. In the end when we had the foil bags you needed a lot luck to still get the minifigures that got high demand. And the more figures where missing the less people really bought the rest, because the less desireable figures were left only. The only real way to solve this would be to only order the figures online and produce the amount that were ordered afterwards - but that would have nothing to do with the system of ot those figures anymore.

I don´t see Ninjago ending anytime soon. Dreamzzz. Well not sure how long Lego intends to keep it around, I mean back in the day themes were designed to stay around for two years and get replace by another. I kinda feel like with TV shows and such it is designed to be around longer though.

Lion Knight? ;) The threshold is quite high, but actually the normal Black Friday-Insiders-Weekend threshold - and in the end it is not 250 for this set, but for both this and the other one. Doesn´t change that it is still high ofc. Especially the missing shield is still what bothers me most about this set.

Basically because both are Historic Figures (even though they are Fantasy Figures) which shouldn´t have dyed hair - natural "red" hair isn´t really red, is it? But honestly, that isn´t something that bothered me at all - actually I haven´t even thought about that fact until it was mentioned here. Both minifigures look great and I really like them, red hair or not ;).

While it is not true that there have been 2 licensed and one unlicensed generally (and it might depend to what you are counting inhouse-licenses such as the Lego Movie anyways), for instance we had two normal minifigure series just last year. I generally agree with you that I would prefer themed series over licensed. At least themed has a higher chance to have many minifigures that interest me than licenses do. Exactly my thought. I said back when the rumours of a themed Space series came out that I would hope for that. However it seems less likely now, that we see it is just part of a space theme spanning several of legos themes - and while that might work with Space, I hardly see them doing the same with Castle or Pirates. However if the space series is a success they might just do a themed CMF series without other themes - at least that is my hope. I really want to get an Castle CMF series ;).

I honestly like the idea of themed series for one special reason: While for normal series you usually have 2-5 minifigures you like, in a themed series there is a higher chance it is either none or most of them. So it makes more sense to either buy a complete series or none. For the space series there is a good chance for minifigures I will like, like classic spacemen - but also I didn´t buy every Alien other space minifigure from normal series. If it were a castle series, it would be even more likely that I would be interested to getting most of the minifigures. Or historic ones in general.

I would say their chances are higher however they would of course not be used with this torso ;) However I think it is also possible they just reuse the print and not the leg - I mean the CMF is a one time production thing so the legs won´t take up space in the logistics and whether they use the exact same one or just print it on different legs wont make that much of a difference. Exactly. That is why I think we will rather see them than the torso. And why they wouldn´t use both is because then you can just buy them together later on instead of buying the CMF series. Ofc in this one the goat is also exclusive, but I don´t think we have ever got the Minifigures parts used in a set completely, at least not short afterwards.

As far as I know they only had them in denmark actually. Wouldn´t wonder if it was a test so we might see them in more countrys.

It seems very unlikely to me that they use both parts, since one should be exclusive to the CMF-Series. Also we already have a forestmen torso, so why would they use this one instead (which doesn´t look like forestmen at all to me btw)

Ah well yeah, so I wasn´t wrong that it is existing after all lol. Well I was searching for bag and not sack. Anyways, so yeah that leaves only the legs as reused pieces in the town square - and the goat mould ofc.

That is not what I meant - I am pretty sure it is a bag, the basked looks different. What I meant was that I first thought that it wouldn´t be new, but after searching for it - and not finding it, I think that I was mixing it up with the basked maybe.

I can´t say much about their customer support, but I never had problems with their support. On the contrary, actually their support is the best I have seen so far.

I was about to say no, but actually I wasn´t able to find it. Might be I was just thinking about the basket they have for the bag. I am still thinking we will see the legs - but not the torso. We also might see the bag, and maybe the hood - which should be in production anyways, so not really a reuse of him.

Exactly. However I am not sure where I read about it beeing a trilogy, might be that was just speculation, we will see. Personally I would love to see something about the war in the north.

It sounds kinda unlikely to me that the release is that soon - no idea where they got their information from but given none of the leakers stated that date yet and there was an other date around the whole time, I have my doubts about that one.

I actually don´t think so. Monsters was kinda the theme for the normal Series, but in this case it feels more like a Series of the theme Space - kinda like the Series for Ninjago Movie, Lego Movies and so on. In the end however it doesn´t really matter how they name it in the end lol.

Well usually the parts of those minifigures are also in the towers - and I actually like that they also offer them build, since it is very hard to find all parts of them in the towers, some are always sold out already there ;).

Hmm, for me it didn´t sound like the films would be aimed for kids, more like they will aim for the same audience like the films did. I had my hope for the new trilogy to get sets for them and afterwards sets for the LotR-one. But if we would get sets for the rohirrim-film I wouldn´t complain either.
