Wizarding World 2026 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to (1)Stein's topic in LEGO Licensed
I wouldn´t say that is the case. Sometimes it is easier for them to bring back a mould or make a new one, in smaller Sets if there is ever going to be one for the later films ofc. Especially Sets like the Ministry need way more new parts so in the end the designers will decide which inclusions and changes they think are more important - personally, I do prefer an old beard and face print over unprinted skirts for instance. But on the other side, I don´t really care much about gambon/harris, as long as the figure looks like Dumbledore. Smaller sets on the other hand seem to get a bigger budget (not in total of course, but compared to the number of bricks/price) because they sell way more copies of those sets. So yeah, not getting the right beard and face (which I wouldn´t take as granted yet, as it wouldn´t be the first incomplete leak) now doesn´t have to mean we won´t get it at all. -
Ah, right, makes sense too. Still would have prefered the Lone Gunmen.
-
So what do you all expect the GWP will be? Something that really would increase day one sales would be the Lone Gunmen IMO. Other than that, no idea what else they would make that is as iconic

Wizarding World 2026 - Rumors & Discussion

Well if we suspect the great hall to be a new Hogwarts system set, and expect the wave to be similar to the 2018 one, I wonder what else we will get. I mean, that system didn´t really consist out of that many sets, so there should be some room for more sets aside from the castle, even if we are getting the normal grounds sets and some buildables. If they not just decease the number of sets that is. -
Future of In-House (Non-Licensed) Themes

Who says that where? -
How many prelim pictures do we even see? It is actually rather a rare thing to happen, so unless you work for Lego, I´d say there isn´t much data to base on. You do remember the leaked prelim of the Medieval Town Square? Matter of fact we don´t know which state the prelim was, but there were clear indications that it wasn´t the finalised designs.

I´d guess the donkey will just fit aswell with normal animals as friends ones do. They could of course mould a normal donkey and just rely on the prints to show the characteristics, but especially given we are up for more sets to come next year, a special mould seems more likely.

A leak that has clearly been prelim. I´d say it clearly isn´t unlikely to happen, still I wouldn´t take it as granted either. Whole sets with advanced prototypes have been canceled tbf, I don´t think it would be an issue to scrab the prototype, be it out of budget reasons or whatever.

So do Mulder and Scully (well woman in her case). But really, you can´t compare someone that had two appearances with way more important characters of the series appearing in several episodes each. Fair point, but Flukemen is still recognizable as a monster without knowing who he is. And appearing in season two, isn´t that late considering the series has 11 seasons now.
-
Question is how many would even recognize him. I mean he appeared in two episodes and it has probably been years for many that they have seen the series. The flukeman on the other side, while basically beeing in the same boat, at least looks like a monster.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
No idea, but I would guess they will produce less than last time of those sets. In the end the sales of this series won´t matter much, as if F1 is selling bad but normal series are selling good, Lego won´t come to the conclusion that CMF isn´t worth making anymore and instead we will just hopefully never see a series 3. Well and if, the world won´t go down eitherway, I will just skip it like the last one and the upcoming one. I am saving money, because I have zero interest for the F1 series and I won´t buy a single box. -

It´s not going to kill anything. If people don´t like a series, they will just skip it and go on with the next series. -
Farquaad looks good, Gingy just as expected but I am not sure I like the head of shrek that much. Can´t even put my finger on the exact reason why, I think the shape isn´t really true to the original but could also be because it works just to big compared to the body.

I´d say it doesn´t have to compare with the current system, as that one was very detailed and quite true to the exterior of the film castle, even if there were some omissions like the Astronomy tower. The new system on the other side will, as some of us guessed, create a more affordable version of the castle, which totally makes sense. With the estimated price point we can be sure not to get a ground sections, so this system could give us a seperate playset of the chamber of secret, which could turn out pretty nice, depending on how big that set will be in the end. -
They should really add an option on the pick a brick site, where you can order a whole creature - I mean sure it is a parts site, but would make it much easier for people to find those parts and especially make sure they actually get all the right parts and not end up with a jawless orca.

Probably the last thing I would have guessed. But well, saves money in the end. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Especially reusing existing torsos is something that is quite common in Lego in general and not surprising in GWPs for sure - especially one that is fitting so well like the griffin torso, that it was assumed to be used beforehand. However, I don´t think that the torso will be reused for many factions now, rather will we see a similar one, if there is need for it IMO. -

I don´t think there is a rule about it, basically every year could have either two licensed or unlicensed IMO. -

Since we are getting Mario minifigs next year, a CMF doesn´t seem that unlikely, though it would probably make sense to use them as a seeling point for sets first. Aside from that, my guesses are on Series 31 and D&D -
I honestly wouldn´t want to have it on the front of the box. I do understand, why some people would want to have something like this, but I don´t need it personally - it wouldn´t bother me if it would be somewhere on the side of the box, though. You know, this is a forum, and usually people use their own words when they write something here - I´d actually say, it is expected to be like this, if just some KI´s would write with each other here, the place would become pointless pretty quickly. And genrally, if KI is used, it should be clear to everyone - which is actually kinda funny, given the fact that you make a petition asking more transparancy from Lego ...

Castle figs without animals have been a very big hit too, though ;). If there is no Raven included they could make another Raven Knight with a Raven in a couple of years. Maybe we are even getting a full castle CMF one day, then he would be the perfect inclusion for it.

Well good point. But that one could at least stand on its own, while the raven would have to sit on the hand. As far as I remember both the falcon knight and the quartermaster, that included a bird had one free hand to hold the bird. Same did Dumbledore with his Pheonix, Hawkeye with his owl or the Tucan girl - though that one actually had a small plant piece included so the toucan could sit on it (which makes sense, since she included glasses to watch it). Nowadays, it is actually more the single pictures that don´t include all the stuff, as there have been accessories that have been missing from those pictures. No idea why they are doing it though. Anyways, we will see about the raven. Well, if it is based on a blurry pic, they might not be sure about it. But you would still see the raven. Not to say, there is no chance we are getting one, but it just doesn´t seem to likely. I´d be glad if I am wrong though.

While I would be happy about it, I certainly don´t think it will be included, given everything else already included, with shield, mace, shoulder armour and cape. The leaks are very detailed now though, which would make you think the raven would have been mentioned if included.

It wouldn´t be the same figure, but an other design. Just like this knight will look different from the first raven knight, or the Beastmaster didn´t look the same as the wolfpack bandit from the Medieval Town Square. Anyways, I probably wouldn´t expect it to happen to soon. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 30. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Depends on your own taste, though. Cute witch for instance would be in the other list from my perspective. As for the citiy figures, those have been included in the CMF from the beginning and as the CMF was always supposed to be a mix where everyone finds something that he likes, I understand their inclusion, while they often don´t are especially usefull for me personally - I am more a fan of historic or fantasy figures, but on the other side there are people that don´t care about that stuff at all, but are happy to get more figures to increase their City-population.
