Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread
Black Falcon replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well that could work too. I was actually meaning the blue Foresmen Version - but the more different ones the better ;). Since both Sets have literally nothing to do with each other I highly doubt that would happen. I mean sure, the tower has some water but aside from that? -
Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Two sets, yes. Stall will have 40602 and the ride 40603. I think many are mistaking the Stall set as a stable, while based on the name I don´t think it is -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion
Black Falcon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A llama foal would be doable I guess. But the centaur body was actually a part of that minifigure, while it would be additional to the minifigure in that case. I am actually not sure it would even fit in the box (considered it is machine packed and that one will always need some more space to pack them). Once the foal llama exists however I think it would just be a matter of time till we would see an adult one in a city set together with a foal in new colour.- 574 replies

Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread

I can see them doing both actually. To make a bigger version for something like 150€ or to make a set for less. I mean it would be good if we also had sets in the range of 50 (doesn´t have to be the tower) or 80-100€ I can certainly see them doing a nice tower for that price range. -

Not only as GWP. Also as set. I would love to see their tower as a set. And well of course the renagades as a gwp. But I think I already mentioned that a few times lol. -

I think we don´t have to dream about them, they will come. Likely not yet, but I am sure we will see them within the next years if they keep doing retro sets. Anyways I wouldn´t take it as a hint, since it is quite likely, it is just a reference to past lego themes (and actually it is quite hard to guess whether something was included as a hint, just as reference to old themes, or because one of the designerns would love to see them back. I think it will just be the forstmen. Would actually be cool if we get a new tose print for that one at least, but I doubt we will see a wolfpack. Also, I think if they were going to include the wolfpack, there would be more than one of them. -
We are getting three minifigures, so I don´t think it has any influence on that - it might however have an influence on the required amount you have to spend to get it. Aside from that it is also possible that the winter stall set does require certain themes to buy.

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
So far, we have the Winter Market Stall, Christmas Ride (likely a horse with carriage), Christmas Baubles and the Christmas Insiders bag. And likely an other GWP for middle of december. -
Honestly. It has already been pretty bad when it launched, but yeah it got a lot worse since then. But well I hope there will be major improvements in the service.
-
Well the plume is used as dragon for the castle. And that one would always be rather present in sets than somwhere in the background. As for the cone. I don´t see a use for that one in that set. I mean aside from a wizard, which won´t be in the MTS, who would wear it? Well the winter market stall won´t have a horse if you ask me. However there is going to be a winter ride gwp, and that one should have the horse - but that one also is coming on first of december, so not with the Majisto GWP. Well they could aswell do all 3 since it would be one mould only anyways. But I still have my doubt that we will see any, so we will see when more details show up

I wouldn´t put to much into this. I mean, it basically is just the only matching piece that works for that castle as a dragon.

Before they revealed it with their Adults Catalogue, it was rumoured that the set would be delayed till next year - if it is supposed to be sold on November, I don´t think they would have pulled the catalogue back. And kinda, I feel like they would have already made an official reveal aswell.
-
I actually think that is the most likely version after them just beeing Lion Knights. If it is true that Majisto already gets new prints that would be a third new printed part for them in this set - so I would expect them to have only a torso printed but plain legs if they are really coming back. Troubadour was in January 2022 but the Knight of the Yellow Castle actually was in September of the same year - so after the Lion Knights Castle came out. So while I first thought it would be kinda unlikely, since they are to close to each other, I would say that is the most likely chance we have to get them. But on the other side it still seems kinda unlikey to me that we are getting the same figure of the CMF as we are getting in the GWP - so it would have to be an other Knight using the helmet IMO.

Possible. Could also be a Lion Knight and a Black Falcon Knight. But with the Village having a shield smith, it doesn´t seem that unlikely we get dragon Knights for that set. I doubt for a matching helmet, since I doubt they would do that for a gwp. And I don´t think the Village would use it´s budged to bring something back that basically is only needed for the gwp but not the set itself. Also an other thought. The newest Modular building is said to have references to lego themes. I could see them having a knight there - but I would guess that one would be either a Lion Knight or a Black Falcon I think.

Ah well, thanks, that explains that at least - Bricklink doesn´t have that one listed but seems there has been both the hollow and vented stud version for this set.

Yes. They don´t count towards Insider points but they count for GWPs. So makes more sense to use them when there is no 2x Insider points active

All parts, aside from the Minihead are in 80008 Monkie Kid's Cloud Jet which is retiring end of this year. The head is just still not sold out I guess.

WIth the Lightyear XL 15 Ship they didn´t care that much, that right colour isn´t avaiable. Just look on the box and then look what is inside.

For the Vintage look, he would have needed his wand, not that staff, have normal legs and just his belt. Then it would have been Majisto. Well then it is not Majisto either for me. But I hope the print is at least similar to what the original figure looked like. If they do it right, maybe it could still work out to be Majisto even with a skirt. But we will have to wait and see for that. I don´t think it will have stars and such on it. I mean, that would even less look like Majisto than just that empty figure.

Well, for me that guy isn´t Majisto. It is just some blue wizard, but Majisto looks different. And I really hope we get a Majisto for the GWP and not another random blue Wizard.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Something like that would be good, since honestly, the classic space stations weren´t that good IMO compared to the ones from later themes. However I would love to see an reimagination, that is not to close to the original of 6971 Inter-Galactic Command Base. That set kinda has everything we could wish for: A station, a rocket, one ground vehicle and a little spaceship. All of that updated would be great. And the best part: We would get three other Classic Spacemen ;) -

That and the Modular Space Station yes. And well, you dropped in with your space base comment in the middle of a conversation about the City space, so it sounded kinda related then ;). Anyways, We might get a proper space base sooner or later. Likely we won´t for next year, but I wouldn´t take the chances that low, that we could become one 2025. Unless they decide to just do ships, but IMO a Classic Space Station doesn´t seem that unlikely to me. Hopefully with other Classic. Spacemen. -
If that kind of sets are going well I can see Lego doing them for years and then we would likely also see an Ice Planet set. But for now I kinda feel like Lego is concentrating on the Classic Era Sets, like Classic Space, Blacktron, maybe Futuron, M-Tron and Blacktron II. You never know though.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I like both actually and can understand both sides. The classic smile certainly has it´s charm (no idea how someone can think they would be creepy) but on the other hand it can look kinda boring if everyone looks the same. That beeing said it would have been bad if they used any other face than the classic one for classic space - while that would work for other themes like in the forestmen gwp, classic space just has to have that classic smile IMO: On the other hand wouldn´t have minded to have the forestmen with classic face also. -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Momotof's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
They are making that many Sets of that Size that you now have them releasing every month basically. The only ones I am aware right now are the Modular Building for (likely) January and the Medieval Town Square, which is rumoured to release in March/April, so that one actually could be release at the same time as Barad-Dur. Or just Barad-Dur in March and the Village in April. Or something else
