  1. I did add one to my bag and ordered it, if I get it great if not oh well. I still have a few bricklink orders to replace the chassis of 9398 from red to black and outside of the 6 orange panels the rest is easy to find. It is a great set and would of liked to get one for sure but its lego and part of the fun of lego is how flexable you can be with it. The instructions will probably be released soon if they aren't already and if people missed out on the limited set/new colours they can still create it with other parts.
  2. I tried to order one this morning but alas out of stock :( I guess I will miss out on it, I will probably now try to just bricklink it and replace the blue with orange for a general lee type crawler. A few parts aren't in orange but I can figure that out.
  3. I really like the way he designed the front end of the car, the grill looks great for something that is so low on parts.
  4. It is so nice and blue and cute!
  5. I have 42006 in the box still since the house is going through renovations and I have no where to build or display anything.
  6. I will be buying one for sure, and I will be finding a permanent home for it on my shelves because I like the design so much.
  7. I can't wait for this set to come out, I plan to replace all of the red beams with black or grey. It will be one of the sets that I will keep together that is for sure.
  8. This is really good. The simulator is just downright amazing if I had that out at home everyone would be playing with it.
  9. Damn that is really great it looks amazing in dark blue. I can't wait to add it to my collection.
  10. Those instructions are great, I am thinking maybe using some third party wheels, changing the pneumatics coupler with a brickbuilt version and brickbuilding doors would bring the cost down that I might want to try it.
  11. http://store.rc4wd.com/Retread-17-Commercial-114-Semi-Truck-Tires_p_733.html I was looking at these tires, they should fit on the 62 x20 tire hub and might be good for a dump truck/garbage truck moc. If anyone has tried these yet or does in the future im curious how it works out if you get to it before I do!
  12. Compared to the quad bike it is a poor value, the quad bike is $30, and yes has smaller tires and probably 100 less parts, but following the pricing lego does (the red jet was $50 US, $65 CDN) It would mean the monster truck would be $65 CDN and that really is not a good value at all, even with the rare parts. I imagine I will be able to bricklink the set for $20-30 under MRSP for the set even with shipping. I am just thinking lego overvalued this set from what we have seen photo wise, comparing 9394(jet) to this set I would walk away from the monster truck everytime at that price. Even if I got it at retail american price I don't think it is worth it. Personal opinions are just that and the only reason the price on this set bothers me is I actually like the set, but the price makes it very hard to swallow as a purchase.
  13. This is one set I am considering dropping off my wanted list just because of price, it will end up being $60-65CDN and I would rather put those funds towards buying a duplicate of a larger set as I don't see many parts I like i it and the wheels are unimpressive for a monster truck. mostly due to what I would consider a unjustified price, much like the dirtbike that is $50CDN, I will buy it but only if it is on sale for at least 20% off i will not be paying full retail for it due to budget concerns.
  14. I missed out on 7191 so I am looking forward to this. If it flops lego likely will not do it again much like they learned with the legends line. If it succeeds who knows what the future brings us.
  15. This is really good work, and looking at them all side by side I will probably take 8421 off my bricklink wanted list and then turn my 8053 into the harbor crane again :)
  16. Then you need black 19L flex axles It is a excellent model though, and I will likely be buying it once I budget for the parts best I can
  17. I put 3rd party wheels on my 9398 and they worked great and required no moding and went right on the lego rims. I know they aren't lego branded tires but if I am going to mod lego I may as well replace the tires with a 3rd party tire. There is a page with all sorts of options for 3rd party tires.
  18. Much better model now, where the original enforcer was just for appearance, this one has a lot of nice things going on underneath. Much much better. It would be great to see one brickbuilt. Unfortunately I don't think cuusoo will make this set due to the way it has gone for models, and we have not seen a single technic model so far and its high part count. I love the chasis and it shows a lot of care in the way you built it.
  19. I love dump trucks! I might have to pull apart a few sets to build this one to have on my shelf for a little while.
  20. Damn that red 5x11 panel! bricklink price on those are going to jump even higher now.
  21. You should never ever run lithium batteries all the way down, you can end up killing the batteries to the point they won't take a charge at all.
  22. I am guessing $300CDN for the crane, and $180CDN for the service truck. I might just have to wait and hope a amerifriend can get me them so I can keep my budget in line.
  23. Figuring out what new sets are coming out this year, I will be spending at least $1000 CDN + whatever the cost of the new boss 4x4 crawler is hopefully. That isn't including anything I might buy off bricklink, or any duplicates I might buy if I really like the part selection. I can almost see myself buying a second green service truck and F1 car which will make my bank account cry.
