    Yeah true, but what if they were “extra” sets? Like how cool would it be if they made a GWP set or a set that could be redeemed via VIP points that was a recoloured speed champion vehicle!! I would love that!

    Here in Australia the majority of the beatbox sets dropped 75% off their RRP on Amazon AU, which was enough for them to finally sell out after decreasing in price daily…

    Umm so this marvel series is releasing in October so is there going to be another earlier series? I say this as this site had an interview with the Minifigure design team where he mentioned “they gave us an exclusive sneak peek at 6 minifigures from the upcoming LEGO Minifigures theme in September”

    All good, I have recently been able to try and can see that the issue lies with the wheel not being a stud but rather “goblet piece” connection, hence why those 2x2 circle pieces cannot connect. yeah, I am all for the low profile tyres and I like how they are now doing the vintage style rims now, but the two current variation of rim piece just look ugly tbh. I’ve also thought about LEGO doing printing in the centre of the rim or make them so that you can connect a 1x1 circular tile with the cars logo.. could add a lot, not to mention that lack of brake callipers which takes away from the looks of the cars

    Okay I just received more rims and new wheels from bricklink and upon putting them on the cars from 2020, they look off? Especially on the Lambo, I know the rim designs are not original but the more I see the new wheels (specifically the new rims) they look too toyish? I think it’s got to do with the lack of border on the rims and the larger centre cap area… also figured out that the rims are larger than a 2x2 circle, so that could be the issue?

    How discounted has this theme got in other countries? Beatboxes are currently 62% off and the second wave is 50% off here in Australia. (Still not worth it IMO).

    Haha yes sort of. Obviously not complete as some of the parts don’t exist in medium azure :( Hopefully I can get those wedge bricks in dark blue and I think it’ll look a lot better :) Now what to build next? I have been thinking of doing a Ferrari 812 or maybe the new Porsche 911

    Here’s something I have been building which is sort of complete: amg G63!! I am pretty happy with it although I think it would look x10 times better if there were wheels and tyres which were suited more towards SUVs. The ones I’ve used look off because the tyres are so thick it there are really no other options unfortunately

    I’m feeling this is more a temporary glitch rather than an early retirement as if there was an problem with the set, wouldn’t LEGO issue a public recall announcement or something?
