  1. I think a lot of us here would love to see some pictures when you get them done!
  2. Here is the link of the wheel article from brickset: https://brickset.com/article/47661/are-the-wheels-of-the-8-wide-ferrari-too-small I definitely think the wheels on those type of cars (supercars) are fine, but what I’ll like to see changed are the wheels for SUVs, like the Urus and jag. If they make a new wheel that would mean they would have to make new rims as well to fit them, which I think would be worth it as I hate the wheels on the Urus tbh
  3. Anyone know what is happening with this theme? It was rumoured to make a return in the second half of this year but so far there’s been no news whatsoever about it
  4. I just thought of another idea for the mystery set. Maybe it could be a Maserati set with two cars? Seeing that the lastest Maserati mc20 got revealed a few months ago it could be a possibility. Being paired with something like a 3500gt would be awesome IMO.
  5. 76903 Chevrolet Corvette C8-R & '68 Corvette C3 - 512pcs, EUR39.99 76904 Mopar Dodge/SRT top fuel dragster & '70 Dodge Challenger - 627pcs, EUR59.99 76905: Unknown set & pc number, EUR49.99 So looking at it this way, the Chevrolet set is comparable to the current Jaguar set and the Dodge set is comparable to the current Lamborghini set. This means that the “unknown set” will be in between these two sets in terms of price and I would say piece count as well. It would be safe to assume that the set would be another 2 car pack, but I think a side build or something else, like a trailer could make up for some of the pieces. You could be right in this as LEGO hasn’t done a speed champions F1 car for a while now, but I would still prefer a regular 2 car set.
  6. So what are peoples guesses for the brand of the 6th set? I am really curious to why speed champions haven’t had an Aston Martin or BMW car, considering LEGO has partnered with those brands before. It would also be cool to see a Bentley as well
  7. Hmm not sure about that, Jesko definitely has more going on
  8. Sounds like a cool line up so far, definitely leaves questions about what the final set could be..? I am hoping that they do include a windscreen piece as an option - just like the real car. And maybe if they do create a new windscreen for the Jesko that is more curved, they could use it for the elva as well. But as @admiral_typhoon said, I doubt they will create a new piece. I am also surprised how the supra has more pieces than the Jesko, seeing as the supra is a smaller car in real life.
  9. Edit: found a way to upload the images of some “knockoff” speed champions which appear to be a Jesko, C8r and viper, cars we may see in the official 2021 Speed Champion lineup. Will be interested to see if the LEGO ones look similar to these.
  10. Hi everyone. I am a huge fan of speed champions and am super excited to see the new sets for 2021. I was recently browsing the internet for Speed Champion mocs and as such I came across a bunch of knockoff versions which were mostly copies of official LEGO sets, but some that caught my eye were completely original. I found them on this site: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001436858442.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.3c3f2d61Co286n&algo_pvid=37c3a828-676e-4c33-9b4d-4b0da7e5110b&algo_expid=37c3a828-676e-4c33-9b4d-4b0da7e5110b-9&btsid=0bb0623316121235999491126e9ac4&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Unfortunately I can’t upload images of the three cars I’m interested in because their file size it too large, (even individually doesn’t work). But if you look through the different cars you may be able to notice a Koenigsegg Jesko, Corvette C8r and Dodge Viper. The Jesko was rumoured to be a single car set so seeing this made me think that LEGO got the idea from it. Additionally the C8r may appear in the rumoured 2 pack Corvette set and the Viper could be in the Dodge 2 pack set. What does everything think of these? To be honest they don’t look too bad as I think they are pretty recognisable. I will be interested to see what LEGO comes up with and if the designs are similar to these.
