    With the release of the Wicked minifigs, I am hoping this becomes a trend - Lego releases minifig sets alongside minidoll sets that it releases. I am still grieving for that Maleficent dragon set. Sleeping Beauty still does not have a prince.

    Good point. Wonder if they might re-use the HP lion headgear. I think initially, there was some inconsistency with how they made costume minifigs. The bunny costume had the minifig face showing and the headgear was only bunny ears. Ditto the tiger cub (BAM?) and tiger woman halloween CMF. It seems that now the 'standard' version is that the whole animal head is the headgear, with the whole minifig face still showing. They have re-done the bunny and tiger in the CNY sets.

    I would not be surprised if indeed Lego does not include an animal with any of the animal-costumed minifigs given how stingy they are. As much as I am a big fan of animal-costumed figs, I would not put it past Lego if the cat and koala were the only costumed figs we get for an animal series. Either the rest of the minifigs have "animal-costume-printed" regular heads, or they are animal-related occupations such as a zookeeper, etc.

    So, it is going to be a "Death Star Diorama" instead of a "Death Star Model (with scenes/ vignettes)"??? I also would have expected a spherical model, given the leaks from months ago. If what was leaked months ago was that it was going to be a diorama, would we all have been as much disappointed? On a slightly different note, regardless of the form, if this were going to be a UCS set, shouldn't the minifigs be CMF-quality, or even better???

    Lego will hopefully try and make up for it by giving this set the ability to levitate and fire real lasers. THAT would be worth $1000 with the lackluster features.

    The Reddit leak with the pages detailing the minifigs is showing a total of 25 minifigs. Are those all there is to this set?

    Did you notice that on one of the lifestyle photos, Lego left the technic pins sticking out? I don't think they did that with previous modulars. Are they teasing us on something?

    I’m really very interested in how Lego will make use of the “modularity“ of this set. I mean, with (hopefully) follow up sets, how will those sets connect to this one?

    Looks like it. Bigger question is what set will they follow up to this, hence the decision to make it modular? They de-modularized the Italian Riviera.

    Lego has introduced unique/ exclusive animals to the CMF line in the past, right?

    The air tanks are also speculated to be the body wear of Mr. Freeze in the Arkham set. Biting my nails where we will get the helmet!!!

    Love the idea of that wall art! Although I prefer the minifigs from the original. This is not bad though! Yes, Lego, bring us more minifigs!!!

    Not saying no to that, although I’ve already spent a fortune hunting down light gray helmets and air tanks! Just randomly occurred to me… can we possibly get a transparent spaceman? The bright light blue was supposed to come out with part transparent parts. I feel like they got Star Wars greedy. Wonder if the helmet will be there. Also wonder what the next color is going to be…

    Well, 3 released so far and one still unaccounted for! OMG, this wait is just killing me... where are those light bright blue helmets???

    The one taste of DC Lego... then back to nothing!!! Day one purchase... is there a GWP? I am really hoping that the jumpsuit characters will eventually be released in regular outfits!

    Fish store menu shows fish, crab, and shrimp! But only fish and crab are there. Could we finally get a shrimp mould somewhere???

    I liked the promenade, and the greebling on the original. Also, the original almost seemed to have modular-compatible sides. Lego just had to ruin that! Ditto.

    Awesome display! Minifig scale bridge! That would be fantastic! Perhaps in a follow up set?

    I wonder if there is any chance we might one day get a Devastator? LOL That is a long shot, and it would be too hardcore for Lego to produce something of that size. But it is nice to dream.
