    How long did it take for the green helmet to appear on PAB after the Monkie Kid set released??? It was quite a number of months after, no?

    Looking at the Villains set, it has the Evil Witch, Maleficent, Evil Genie, and Gaston. The Evil Witch was reused in the Snow White cottage. Gaston was reused in the BATB castle. Maleficent would have probably been used as well in that canceled dragon set. So that just leaves us with Genie Jaafar!!! Someone predicted some months ago that the next big Disney set is probably going to be either from Aladdin or Encanto!!!

    ... vs shrimp!!! LOL We need that new mould! Well, even if they make it as printed shrimp on a 1x1 tile, I will take it!

    It would be great to have some Castles minifigs with a different style headgear and more intricate and exotic torso prints! Quickly googling, some of the headgears look like the Laketown guard from The Hobbit set.

    Isn't it a waste of mould development to not re-use them? Although on the one hand I appreciate Lego keeping them exclusive a la Star Wars.

    From about a year ago or two, Instagram was filled with adverts for those assemble-yourself wooden/ cardboard book nooks and I think they ended up being pretty popular, especially after some of them included lighting. I think Lego was sort of jumping the bandwagon here, and at the same time testing the waters, so to speak. I feel Sherlock was the most successful of the lot. This LOTR seemed to have run out of budget for pieces and even then ended up being somewhat overpriced. If the sides opened to reveal a backdrop, and there was a light brick somewhere, this set would have been amazing! Of course there is also the case of the Balrog being a bit pudgy, although I can't complain that they considered making it an actual 'figure' instead of a 'stuck-on' background build.

    I think at the top of my wishlist would be Maleficent in Dragon form with Prince Philip... Sleeping Beauty is the only (major) princess without her prince. If Lego were smart, they would make this black dragon... guess what, there is much hype over at the castles forum because of the new Griffins, Krakens, Horse, and Snake factions. Further, there is speculation about an upcoming dark/ black castle D2C. Imagine all the Castles fans flocking to buy a black dragon for their castles!!! I would not mind the Jolly Roger. They should make more Peter Pan sets!!!

    I have over 50 Sannahed frames filled with different themes of minifigs! But mostly they are mounted on inverted bricks glued to clear acrylic that is placed over a printed poster. They sell them on eBay.

    I don't mind more Dreamzzz themed BAM, as long as it gives us unique and much-needed parts. But this theme is ending soon, isn't it? I'm also wondering why they haven't given Monkie Kid the same treatment as its end has been announced.

    Goodness forbid that Lego goes the direction of a non-minifigure CMF set again!

    Yes, I was not looking forward to this myself, but after seeing photos, I might get one full set just to place in a Sannahed frame.

    So, Krakens I feel is a very unique sub theme - mostly Castles, but part-Vikings and part-Pirates. What unique sub themes would you want Lego to explore? What's on your wishlist? For me, I have two: One is a desert-based faction. I think Snake would have been a good faction for this! Second is an Eastern-based group. Could be Oriental-inspired (Japanese/ Chinese/ maybe even Russian).

    Great build for the car. That price could have been justified if they packed it with more minifigs and dogs.

    I agree! Perhaps adding some variants for a leader (king, queen, etc), and warrior or knight.

    I am hoping that Lego is just 'experimenting' with different set styles, categories, and price points, and trying to find the sweet spot that sells well.

    Yes, I absolutely adore that set for the Wolfpacks! Lord Crow has his own home base. Of course there's the LKC. And we are getting the Horse Knight's castle. We need a home base for the Krakens, Griffins and Snakes!!!

    I think I will wait til someone makes a MOC of the Balrog based out of this set. Some proportions seem wrong... I think the fig was optimized for play... I think the designer did a good job making a sturdy set based on Lego's ask, not the fans' ask. The Balrog was designed around the Fellbeast wings and for play. Then he had to design book nook sturdy enough within the piece count. Book nook between books looks good. Just don't put it beside the Sherlock set.

    I would very much like a full-sized Kraken ship!!! They can keep this as Black Knights!

    Yes, interesting choice! Wonder if that series will be a generic CMF series, or themed? Oh well, we can just speculate...

    The fact that Lego is doing this means that there enough fans out there willing to go the distance of hunting these down. Also, the fact that they decided on producing two Space colors (and two Castle factions) after the vote means they are confident that even the second place winners will be well-received. It would be great to have a framed collection of all these Space figs a la monochrome figs.
