LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Haha, that looks hilarious for some reason. The dark lord of the Sith doesn't even get a comfortable fighter. -
Moc: UFO flagship, Eclipse (picture heavy)
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Antak's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Oooooo, that giant ship looks pretty awesome. I also love how you increased the diversity of the figures from the original line. Those new aliens look amazing!!! This theme also brings nostalgia to me, so I certainly appreciate this post. Thanks a lot for sharing! -

Does anyone understand why Phoenix's hair is abundant on Bricklink, even though it was exclusive to the figure?- 444 replies

How successful was Galaxy Squad?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to murphy_slaw's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I really liked the insect figures, but since Star Wars and Super Heroes are consuming most of my budget, I have simply been unable to invest in space for a while. Too bad. -
Unfortunately people abuse the word "rare" these days and sometimes make it equivalent to "very valuable". I'd say do your research based on the above advice.

Hmmm, I don't know if I'd trust that ATM, it looks like it's been tampered with... I really like these accessories. What does CB stand for? -

Wow, what could you possibly want to do with your MOC that is going to require that much strength? Amazing! -
[MOC] Crashed Star Destroyer - Jakku
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to dimnico's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is a nice representation of what I thought was a very powerful image from Episode 7. It looks really good! I would use it as a display piece. -
Brickshelf up, down..who knows!
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Vader's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I haven't used Brickshelf in a good time. Any specific reason you prefer it to more modern options like Flickr? -
I am very impressed. Not only does it function pretty much perfectly, but the lobster detailing and claws look and work really well. Do the gray pins manage to hold the wheels strongly enough? I was wondering if they ever slip out during a step.

I also wonder that, and whether or not they would acknowledge it. Who knows Robert, you might even get some free goodies from Lego!

City Layout - Inspired by Los Angeles, California
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to parrafilmsguy's topic in LEGO Town
Do you have any plans to tackle any new cities? San Francisco would be a great companion to this layout. -
The best of the worst Lego Ideas
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to anothergol's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I remember some years ago I saw someone who made their own minifigure series as an idea. Of course that was never gonna work... -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, although the Death Star itself is not too realistic, I don't feel the cartoonish style of the micro fighters really goes with it. However, the Vader doesn't fit inside the mini model that comes with the Death Star, does it? -
I think they've already done most Supring/Summer figures already, at least that I can think of.

And that, Lego, is why you should have added this game to the PC platform. -
Force Friday (30th September) promotions
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Any clue as to whether or not that applies to shop at home as well, and/or if this is a policy all Lego stores will have?
