So triple VIP points for Europe, exclusively, right? In the US regular VIP points apply? -
What was the last movie you watched?
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah, I was disappointed that they threw in a lot of filler in the beginning, plus the art wasn't always satisfying. But hey, at least now we have Mark Hamill delivering all those awesome lines! -

That's a good theory and I would hope hope hope that that would happen. We'll have to wait and see. -
2017 City Sets - Rumours and Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Is Lego really to blame though? Any Lego city needs a police station, helicopters, and so on. If they stopped releasing them, people would complain that they can't make their own cities without paying ridiculous aftermarket prices, not to mention that little kids love police sets. -

I've always assumed it's on the thumb on the side. Well, not actually on the thumb piece, but right before. But yeah, worst case it's an easy fix.- 5,808 replies

Does anyone know how those VIP members are selected? Is it random, or are people selected based on how much they've purchased before? I imagine the latter.- 17 replies

A killer whale is not the kind of thing that you would have in an aquarium inside a city. I'll remain skeptic unless further evidence/hints are dropped. -

Doesn't look like it does (although it's a preliminary image), but since it's Lego, you can probably modify it. -
You'll probably have to remove that link later, since linking to leaked pics is frowned upon by the mods here. I really like the car with the threads. Would love to see it go at it on dirt!

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree with you. Some people expect a product to change almost completely from prelim to final version. I'm afraid I've never seen that happen. -

LEGO Ideas Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That was all very informative, Banjo! Thanks a lot. That makes a lot of sense and I guess I am simply not well trained in business matters to know all of this. It's good to see that the line has been successful, though. So far, as far as I know, no set has been a failure (although I did hate their rendition of the DeLorean, which I felt was inferior to the original model). -
