  1. If I remember correctly, I've even put a link in my review. It's the Technic Cam. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6575 Thanks! I have tried to vary in pictures size, so that the review isn't a big list of huge pictures. This improved the readability (imho). I am working on a generic setup for 360 viewing, for future reviews :thumbub: These sets will be available around January 15th if I am not mistaken. Even the plane! Welcome to EB by the way! Nice to have you on board!
  2. That's not what he meant. You are not allowed to vote if you joined after the contest started. This is to avoid fraudulent voting. However... ....since you are an active member and not entered EB just to vote, you've got my special permission to cast your vote! Go for it
  3. True! That's very disappointing and totally unacceptable, coming from a TLG employee.
  4. I think it's a strange situation. In my opinion it's totally irrelevant that your set showed up in Europe (Poland). Originally this contained a faulty battery (or would have contained) so TLG needs to deliver a proper one. Thanks Conchas, great work! Really curious to what the outcome will be.
  5. I absolutely agree with you. Building is one thing, but presenting your build in an appealing way is key in a contest! Fortunately, there were some participants who went the extra mile to go out and take some pictures in the model's "natural habitat". Thumbs up for them
  6. Check out the amazing entries and Vote for your favorites!
  7. The Voting Topic is live!! Vote now!!
  8. I have linked all entries to their official entry post. Why? First of all because that's the official entry, the WIP is just....a WIP. Secondly not everybody has a WIP, so to be consistent, I justed the official links. There are however some people who have just put a link in the official entry topic, linking to their WIP. I will accept that for this time, but next contest you really need to post pictures in the entry topic. Let me see if I can get that Voting topic online.
  9. Actually I think we have one of the lowest Lego prices in the world. But you need to search a bit and find a cheap private resellers. The site mentioned is definitely not the cheapest online store. It's like the Amazon of The Netherlands. Probably best to compare euro with dollar prices, so 135 euros for the plane will be around 135 dollar. My guess is that I can find the plane for around 100 euros.
  10. Fixed the font size. Nice review btw!! I will take some time soon the read it all
  11. Moved to the General section.
  12. Almost done with the Voting thread! I have collected all models and linked them to the entry topic! Need to finish some small details before the voting can begin.
  13. True that! Same goes for me.
  14. It's best to use a photo sharing site like Flickr. That way you can upload the original and link it to a smaller (800 wide for example) version. If you make a link of your smaller version, people can click it to see the hires version. Sorry if I was not supposed to answer this question, but it was pretty generic...
  15. I understand what you mean, but still this is a more generic topic, so I will move it to the General forum.
  16. That's a valid point you're making! That's is indeed an improvement.
  17. I am preparing the Voting Topic and I must say I am impressed by the list of entries. I hadn't seen some brilliant ones!! 18. TRIPLE BUILD VOTING TOPIC This topic will be used as a voting topic for the Triple Build contest. VOTING RULES AND REGULATIONS You have a total of 10 POINTS to allot to your favorite entries. You need to allot EVERY POINT, not just a part of them. You can allot a maximum of 5 POINTS per entry. Clearly mention the ENTRY NUMBER and the NUMBER OF POINTS per entry that you vote on. You may NOT vote if you joined Eurobricks after OCTOBER 8th 10:00 AM. This is to prevent people registering just to vote, and applies even if you entered the contest. You may NOT vote for your own entry. This voting thread will remain open for approximately one week. In the event of a tie for any place the Technic Staff will decide which entry wins. Our decision is final. Questions about voting can be asked in the Technic Triple Build Contest Information. For example (entries randomly chosen for example): 5: 5 16: 3 18: 1 22: 1 30: 1 NOTES We will use the entry number to count the votes so make sure to mention it! Click the image to see the details of an entry Please use this thread only for voting. You may explain why you made your choice, but any general discussion should take place in the Technic Triple Build Contest Information Topic. There are some entries which are debatable. Since this is my first contest I am being gentle and I will let the voters decide. If you think an entry is not eligible, don't vote for it. Most points wins the 1st prize. Runner up gets the 2nd prize and the 3rd best gets the 3rd prize. PRIZES The prize winners may choose between two selected prizes. 1st Prize 8110 Unimog or 9398 4x4 Crawler 2nd Prize 42000 Grand Prix Racer or 42008 Service Truck 3rd Prize 42004 Mini Backhoe Loader or 42007 Motor Cross Bike Special thanks to TLG's Community Support Team for providing these awesome prizes! 19. This might be the voting scheme btw (like seen before here on EB). Vote for 3 models (no more, no less), 10 points total, maximum of 5 per model. For example EntryA 5, EntryB 3, EntryC 2 Or EntryA 5, EntryB 4, EntryC 1 Or EntryA 4, EntryB 4, EntryC 2 Or EntryA 4, EntryB 3, EntryC 3 This pretty much sums up the options if I am not mistaken. You get 10 points and need to divide it over the entries you want, with a 5 point max per model. The voting thread will be ready on Friday max (possibly earlier).
  20. Wow, that is one good lucking buggy! The HoG steering with the spare tire is a great find. And welcome (sort of hehe) to EB
  21. True! Need to collect all entries. Voting will go live somewhere this week
  22. Thanks! With an updated Technic Moderator tag.
