  1. As long as it's not three identical robots, I'm fine with it.
  2. Like a small turntable Just kidding...
  3. If this were a real set, I would be running to the stores right now

One of the best Modular Buildings I have ever seen! Great details. I really like the road you've added
  5. Hope the reviews are useful. At least you can see some new parts
  6. I totally missed your post. Those panels look awesome! Most parts you can find on BrickLink. The thread attachments are hard to get at the moment. You've already included a link to BrickLink. Are you aware that you can buy parts via Bricklink? http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=38102&colorID=11
  7. Slightly off topic, because it doesn't involve dating etc I have Bricklinked the 10179 MF and Cavegod's AT-AT, totalling around 12000k parts ordered.....all delivered to my work address spreaded over several weeks. The lady at the front desk probably lost some weight during the process. She wondered whether I was building a house
  8. So John Lennon was (and still is) into Lego
  9. This conversation is very amusing LoL You should probably go all-in with the 42009, although she might think you're compensating for certain shortcomings
  10. 1. What technic set(s) you're planning on getting for the holidays. Still have the 41999, 42000 and several smaller sets unopened, but I am tempted to buy one of the 2013 sets to write a review. 2. Will you be spending the time-off building a new set or MOCing? Due to two upcoming reviews I haven't found any time to work on my EV3 Wheel-e MOC. Hope to find some time to make some progression. 3. Neither, will be sorting/cleaning/arranging my huge parts list Not this year anymore 4. Gonna read and comment on ALL Technic Threads on EB (Really???) Been there, done that 5. Something else ...? Hoping to get a new DLSR, so experimenting and shooting pictures!
  11. Hi, Welcome to EB!! There's a topic for general questions like this, so you don't need to start a separate topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87371 It all depends on what you want to do. My suggestion would be to start with the Retail set and go from there. Decide what you want to build and which parts you need. You can get separate parts from Bricklink or you can still buy the expansion set. There's no real answer to your question. It very much depends on what your goal is. (I will be merging this topic with the General Discussion later)
  12. Voting will start early next week. Possibly already on Sunday. If you are unsure about Brickshelf, just use Flickr or Bricksafe.
  13. Cool! Now you can link images, like this for 800 wide, which is common. Maximum allowed size is 1024 wide (used to be 800)
  14. Well, it's pretty new, so you can easily have missed it. But it has been in lots of sets since 2012 which indicates it's quite useful. I'm very fond of it Hmmm only 5 sets so far. I thought it was used in more sets.
  15. That is the small Technic Turntable. It's from 2012, so pretty new. Small Turntable Top Small Turntable Bottom The rest you will find out Sunday.
  16. Hehe, no I'm not. I guess we are talking about completely different sets But that proves that it IS useful to connect to a (small) turntable
  17. No I don't have a Brickshelf gallery. And I would definitely not make this public without TLG's permission. Next Sunday my reviews will go live so you will know more by then
  18. I know. I'm doing a review on that set So let me rephrase: It's very useful when connecting to a small (or large) turntable
  19. Yup, that's the one Not really sure whether I'll use this a lot, but any frame is more than welcome. It might be useful when connecting to a small or large turntable.
  20. I have a similar question from another member. He is building a modular set of vehicles where the power (motors, battery box and receiver) are interchangeable between the vehicles. He asks whether it's allowed to build three vehicles and one power module. Ultimately I am the one making the decisions, but I would like to know what other members think. @That_Lego_Guy: You also switching your battery unit, right? As far as I am concerned both questions will be answered with "Yes, that's allowed", but I would like to hear if anyone's got objections, since it's a borderline case.
