  1. Almost done with the Voting thread! I have collected all models and linked them to the entry topic! Need to finish some small details before the voting can begin.
  2. True that! Same goes for me.
  3. It's best to use a photo sharing site like Flickr. That way you can upload the original and link it to a smaller (800 wide for example) version. If you make a link of your smaller version, people can click it to see the hires version. Sorry if I was not supposed to answer this question, but it was pretty generic...
  4. I understand what you mean, but still this is a more generic topic, so I will move it to the General forum.
  5. That's a valid point you're making! That's is indeed an improvement.
  6. I am preparing the Voting Topic and I must say I am impressed by the list of entries. I hadn't seen some brilliant ones!! 7. TRIPLE BUILD VOTING TOPIC This topic will be used as a voting topic for the Triple Build contest. VOTING RULES AND REGULATIONS You have a total of 10 POINTS to allot to your favorite entries. You need to allot EVERY POINT, not just a part of them. You can allot a maximum of 5 POINTS per entry. Clearly mention the ENTRY NUMBER and the NUMBER OF POINTS per entry that you vote on. You may NOT vote if you joined Eurobricks after OCTOBER 8th 10:00 AM. This is to prevent people registering just to vote, and applies even if you entered the contest. You may NOT vote for your own entry. This voting thread will remain open for approximately one week. In the event of a tie for any place the Technic Staff will decide which entry wins. Our decision is final. Questions about voting can be asked in the Technic Triple Build Contest Information. For example (entries randomly chosen for example): 5: 5 16: 3 18: 1 22: 1 30: 1 NOTES We will use the entry number to count the votes so make sure to mention it! Click the image to see the details of an entry Please use this thread only for voting. You may explain why you made your choice, but any general discussion should take place in the Technic Triple Build Contest Information Topic. There are some entries which are debatable. Since this is my first contest I am being gentle and I will let the voters decide. If you think an entry is not eligible, don't vote for it. Most points wins the 1st prize. Runner up gets the 2nd prize and the 3rd best gets the 3rd prize. PRIZES The prize winners may choose between two selected prizes. 1st Prize 8110 Unimog or 9398 4x4 Crawler 2nd Prize 42000 Grand Prix Racer or 42008 Service Truck 3rd Prize 42004 Mini Backhoe Loader or 42007 Motor Cross Bike Special thanks to TLG's Community Support Team for providing these awesome prizes! 8. This might be the voting scheme btw (like seen before here on EB). Vote for 3 models (no more, no less), 10 points total, maximum of 5 per model. For example EntryA 5, EntryB 3, EntryC 2 Or EntryA 5, EntryB 4, EntryC 1 Or EntryA 4, EntryB 4, EntryC 2 Or EntryA 4, EntryB 3, EntryC 3 This pretty much sums up the options if I am not mistaken. You get 10 points and need to divide it over the entries you want, with a 5 point max per model. The voting thread will be ready on Friday max (possibly earlier).
  9. Wow, that is one good lucking buggy! The HoG steering with the spare tire is a great find. And welcome (sort of hehe) to EB
  10. True! Need to collect all entries. Voting will go live somewhere this week
  11. Thanks! With an updated Technic Moderator tag.
  12. Very sharp! Was wondering how you knew The Technic Moderator sign/tag is currently being constructed, since it doesn't exist (anymore? Lost in the 2012 crash?). So it will be updated soon. Thanks man! The four of us are happy to hear these nice words
  13. I totally missed this topic, until now! Wow, thanks guys, for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I'll do my best to keep this a great forum for everyone (with your help obviously) and try to have regular contests and theme months etc. And I will make sure not to ban anyone making compliments in this topic
  14. Okay guys, thanks for the suggestion. I will do that! Now I will be closing the entry topic...again
  15. Philo pointed out to me that the hires version of the Part images aren't linked properly. I will fix this asap. Thanks Philo.
  16. My idea was to use the entry thread for voting, because I thought this might be easier for all of us. But I also do like Seasider's suggestion and since I was about to make an overview of all entries anyway......I think that might be a good idea. Having more images per entry, means more clutter So let me make a separate voting thread which clearly states the voting rules and gives an overview of all entries.
  17. Understood and no problem. Thanks for the clarification. I do have some unopened smaller sets, so I will start with them
  18. Ahh okay. And why can't I use my two reviews for the Academy? They have been published yesterday I see your comment in the other topic
  19. Agreed! I will close the topic around 23u00 tonight.
  20. Okay guys, I have unlocked the topic for today! If you already posted a WIP topic and for some reason you haven't posted it in the entry topic....do this TODAY! If some of you know that certain entries are missing, please post in that member's topic to wake 'm up! Or send a PM.
  21. True! I would say having a WIP topic is mandatory for "late entry".
  22. Ahh of course. You were one of the first to post a WIP topic Not sure what to do with this. You should have made sure that the pictures were on a computer instead of your phone. But most of the time I am more of a Yes-man than a No-man, so if there are no objections I can open the entry topic till tomorrow morning, so everyone can still post there entry. I do have a feeling that some other entries are missing as well. Let's wait and see what other members think of this.
  23. This does not compute Are they finished or not? Did you make a WIP topic?
  24. I think the wheels on the 8453 are a bit too small, compared to reel front loaders.
