  1. That has been discussed. Please read the rest of the posts. Before this escalates, I will discuss it with Alasdair. Let's go back to making suggestions.
  2. I saw this on Facebook and I am really glad you took the time to join EB and post this. Absolutely awesome. I have frontpaged it and I have given you the Mindstorms tag.
  3. One of our latest members, dsharlet, has created a Mindstorms EV3 robot catching a ball in mid-air....that's all I need to say
  4. Hi, Promoting a LEGO Ideas project is against site guidelines. You can make a topic about your project and add a link to LEGO Ideas, but you are flat out promoting your model, nothing else. I will remove the content of your post. You can edit it again with proper information.
  5. Basically we're doing Pythagoras here......I kind of overlooked that. The margin is minimal, but I'm all in favor of "no fudging" so I can build a valid model in LDD. Thanks for the input guys. Still struggling with the design of the corners.
  6. Okay cool. Thanks for the clarification. It's definitely allowed.
  7. I noticed something odd. Apparently, this doesn't fly?! I did a quick test in real life and I thought it would work, but "computer says no!". Edit: actual test confirmed that it's not a valid connection. Is there a source where I can find the legitimate combinations? Sariel's book maybe? Sorry for the late reply. I totally missed your post. Seems like a nice suggestion, thanks!! I'm quite happy with my current setup, but I will give it go
  8. Let's make it even more simple.....a great MOD deserves a place in the HoF.
  9. Nice work!! Looking good. You have been promoted out of this group
  10. You didn't answer my question. Please do so.
  11. Since Sariel has posted this information in a video, I think it's safe for me to chime in... The new SBrick+ (or SBrick Plus) supports the WeDo 1.0 sensors. There's a distance and tilt sensor.
  12. Please use the report button next time. Stating that you are sorry about coming back to it, yet still making a post about it is not the way to go. I have sent PM to both guys and let's end it with that
  13. Why did you post an empty topic? Is your creation the smallest and most robust compressor? Or will you be using it in a MOC for the contest?
  14. Calibrating the servo, right? Like MikeTwo9398 said. This might be a good time to convert this topic into a "Help Building Sets" topic. I don't think we have a topic for that. Or do we want to combine this with the Building Help for Noobs? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=138387
  15. Becoming a member just to bump a four year old topic, to do promotion, is against site guidelines in multiple ways.
  16. True. 3rd party is not allowed. Maybe I should post it somewhere else.
  17. Sorry for promoting this so late, but our very own Technic Regulator Blakbird has published an outstanding review of the 42055 - Bucket Wheel Excavator. Unlike other reviews, this one contains some very cool schematics, with special thanks to Philo. It's definitely worth the read!
  18. Anyone ever seen this? http://www.youtechnic.com/home.html
  19. Merging with the other (this) topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110875
  20. I think I'm getting where you are going with this. Correct me if I'm wrong. You are using the PF to power the Cylinder, which will operate the gripper. In other words; you will use PF to operate the gripper (technically). This is NOT allowed. PF can't be used to operate functions, even if there's a cylinder in between. (although I do like the idea)
  21. You mean the old Pneumatic cylinders? You can use any Pneumatic cylinder. And you can use PF to drive a Pneumatic pump. But I'm still not sure what you are getting at, sorry.
  22. Hi, Nice car!! Would you be so kind to embed more pictures, and maybe some background information? That would make a topic like this more interesting. I'm moving this to the Special Themes by the way. Seems more like a Creator MOC.
  23. There's a separate Dimensions Wish List topic. Your question is already being answered there. Let's keep this discussion about actual information.
  24. I will move this to the Creator forum. I think it belongs there, instead of in Technic.
