  1. For those Lego animal fans, is that too soon to say that 2026 is a bad year for aniamls?? We haven’t ever seen official pictures of the summer wave. Sometimes aniamls show up in one or two of those summer sets out of blue.
  2. Ohhh i dind’t realize that!! You are right about those colors for trans pride jester!!
  3. Looking at Jack Sparrow’s pirate ship set, I wonder if we will get a non-licensed Icons set like this in a near future? But i can’t see how soon it will be since there are two ships right now - Endurance and Black Pearl ships.
  4. I know I’m very late to the party but I was looking at Captain Jack Sparrow’s pirate ship set. I gotta say, I really don’t care about the licensed set/theme but this pirate ship looks fantastic. I was wondering if they would introduce a non-licensed Icon pirate ship set like this one.
  5. @karrit, you are right about the Mardi Gras jester’s colors. I remember my old friend who lived near to New Orleand recognized the jester form CMF in mid-2010s. That CMF jester has yellow and purple colors, I believe. So I have no idea what the new jester is suppsoed to be if that outfit is bit modern?
  6. No animals in the spring 2026 BAM
  7. I think that jester is meant to be a Mardi Gas jester in New Orleans?
  8. I found that’s very ironic - some castle fans went crazy about Beastmaster because A.) it’s Wolfpack and B.) it has a wolf. As well as Vampire Knight. And some space fans went crazy about a brown Classic Spaceman and a few miniatures form Series 26. Some of us are asking for throwback (ironically Robert8 asked for King Kahuka here a few pages ago). I feel like Lego knows what AFOLs want some mini figures from old themes for old time’s sake. So it seems there are mixed reactions. To me, I don’t care what kind of regular series - themed or normal - I am always happy to collect every single minifigure. I am happy with Birthday Party Series 18, Costume Party Series 22, Space Series 26, Animals Series 28. I gues it’s impossible for Lego to satisfy everyone at same time. Now,i think it’s very confusing what Series 29 is supposed to be - Classic or simply a normal series.
  9. I disagree with you. I mean, sure Marvel sets seem boring but they are from Marvel comics or movies. Nothing else. And in the Lego world, I think a four-floor sky rapper might be more interesting only if designers can take a next level architecturally. Regardless the facade, I think the skyscraper’s interior design can be very unique. Police Staiton’s facade is kinda repetitive other than ivy, windowsill, and shades/blinds…..
  10. Are Book Shop and Police Staiton counted as they have “underground” section? Bookshop is not exactly underground tho but it has a crawl space. And Police Station has a tunnel that a t donut thief used a spoon to dig. As for a seaside one, I would love to see a fish market like Pike Market form Seattle. Are you talking about Parisian Rrestaurant’s opening roof?
  11. Why? Don’t’ you like classic miniatures?
  12. Jnoy just a newspaper press, but we are waitng for post office, school, 4-story skyscraper/hig-rise apartment, hospital, farmer’s market. i feel like they will try to make the 20th anniversary set more unique like Town Hall for its height, Assembly Square for its width, Boutique Hotel for its triangular shape. Shopping Street has an alleyway, which makes the set more unique from other sets. I wonder if we will see something different and very interesting for the 20th anniversary set. Maybe not 1.5 baseplate as we have Assembly Square and Natural History Museum? Personally, I would love to see a sky rapper / high-rise apartment!
  13. I dunno… sometimes leakers get their own errors no matter how reliable they are.
  14. Not bad! I like how natural the scenery looks - a marshy river, some vegetations, and anyklosuarus. Marvelous!
  15. I really like what you are thinking! This is pretty possible for us to see normal figures that represents different themes. I think Groom and Horse figure from Series 22 was suppsoed to represent Paradise?
  16. Other than extant and realistic animals, I do wonder if there would be more fantasy (except for trans blue ones from Harry Potter), prehistoric (Jurassic World), and sci-fi creatures would be introduced tho year. Right now, there are no Jurassic World playsets but only two 18+ sets for 1HY.
  17. When I looked at minifigures in my hand, I started to remember vagefuly. I think I saw a picture of Toucan and Kanagroo Costume Fans from Lego magazine in mid-2010s. Have anyone seen that imagine?
  18. Guys, please do discuss in the Series 29 thread, not here. This thread is for guessing game ONLY, don’t you think?
  19. DDI jsut got some of Series 28 - Koala, Fluffy Cat, Frog, Goldfish, Lion, Peacock, Cute Bunny, Monkey, Dolphin, from two 6-Packs. Only a few duplicated. I really like this Seires 28 so far - they are very cute!! Some of those accessories are okay but I love bubble blower and Easter egg. If I was a designer, I would replace Lion’s turkey leg with a chowed-off T-bone. @Robert8 I remember you talked about phrasing out short leg pieces other day. I was looking at Goldfish and I see why they didn’t use short leg. It’s Becca’s elf a goldfish mask+tail piece. That piece is too long for short legs as it would already touches a ground. Medium legs work well for that goldfish mask+tail piece.
  20. I wonder if there will be a 18+ minifigures-scale set with minifigures like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy while there are a few new molds like Bowser, Yoshi, etc. I mean, I am not totally into buildable characters like Mario or Stitch and Simba from Disney. Jsut…eh.
  21. That’s very true - those printed elements are very limited for MOCs, yes. To me, I appreciate those printed elements jsut because they are not stickers (glaring at modular GWPs). Maybe “Music Shop” sign would be better than Brinkley. I am not sure if I understand that name? Like - is it suppsoed to be punny? For example, Book Shop has a book printed “Moby Brick”, which it’s very humorous. I think a printed sale piece might be useful for any furniture store MOCs , but nothing else.
  22. Why these prints are disappointing in your view? Or a four-story skyscraper as a 20th anniveary set?
