I guess Lego is on steroids when there are some licensed themes and it lurks to attract new fans over to bricks and away form other rivals. And it’s gross. And I get that it’s 2026 and kids don’t know what in-house themes mean but they know what movies (DC, Marvel, Harry Potter) or video games (Fornites, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Super Martio) or musicals (Wicked). I love in-house thing that don’t look like they are from movies, video games or musicals - outlet unique. So far, we have Friends (only minidoll in-house theme), Creator (it does have a few minifigures but not too much), City, DreamZzz (soon it will meet its end like Monkie Kid’s fate). Ideas and Icons are just mix of non-licensed and licensed. I take comfort in in-house CMF series as they offfer Pirates, Castle, Adventurers, and Space minifigures annually.

A flying phoenix sounds cool to me! Anyways, it looks like there will be a new Icons set coming up in September. The rumor says it would be “Haunted House”. I’m excepted about it. However, I dobut it would offer us some newly recolored animals as we ahve seen numerous Anyang like rat, owl, frog, bat, and spider, bolting else. Recolored are okay but nothing else. We will see what animal that set would offer us.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
The more I am thinking about an Icons Haunted House, the mroe I’m hoping it woudl be a 0.5-baseplate modualr buidling card on the piece counts. It would be cool to have a run-down, abandoned house in middle of modular city. However, i have read Reddit and some of them speculate it could be a microsacle set or a new “Halloween town” lineup (similiar to Winter Village). I wil like to see more details about that set as septepmber gets closer. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I think park and post office are great choices! Not sure about train Dayton fitting into modualr buidling city. We have Spring Lantern Festival set a couple of years ago and it fits really ncely into the city. So I would say yes to park! Hmmm $110? I feel like the info is not accurate based on piece counts. I also feel like this might be more like Fairground set. -

Huh, it’s pretty interesting. I’m not sure about modualr buidling a that based off real-life buidling IPs. I agree with @Richard Dower that it will be different like Home Alone. Don’t’ get me wrong but I’m interested in a taller buidlings like office building, high-rise apartment, etc. I’m little unsure what it means for Winter Village but, personally, I would love to see Modualr Buidling takes on Winter Village style. And I always want to see Modualr Buidings have some part of the world. Second modualr buidling would be cool. Say, I’m curious what you answered those questions? Huh, it’s pretty interesting. When you said “printed sheet” or “order data serial”, you mean “hard copy”, right? If so, I still get mine in the USA. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Hey folks! I apologize if this soudns dumb to ask. But I have Parisian Restaurant and the counter that seperates the ktichen from dining room. That conter’s studs (where flower pot sits) bother me when there are two flat tiles next to them. How can I cover the studs under flower pot? I remember seeing one piece that can cover 3 studs like 2x2 plate with one corner cut diagonally. I rang that plate has two studs. I for to my severely visual impirament, I can’t see photos on BrickLink or PAB. Can I retire at your assistance, please? Thank you, I i understand the difference now. I was not sure what I am looking at Sushi Restaur I ant that clearly. Based on Sushi Restaurant’s description, it doesn’t sound like “modualr building” to me but I could not see images clearly. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
ThYou are very welcome, my friend! and I agree with you. Given that we got Lion Knights’ Castle, we had a few female knights (including Lion Queen), it’s really nice to break gender stereotypes.I like diversity in in-house CMF series as well as gender counterparts. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Here is my ideal Caslte CMF series…. 1.) Lion King (tribute to King Leo) 2.) Bull Leader (tribute to Cedric) 3.) Medvidial Historian with a sword display and a 2x4 tile that ground document on castle 4.) Medvidal Witch a larger and new caudlron and a raven 5.) Castle Costume Fan 6.) Battle Hero with a broken sword and some scars printed across knight’s face and breastplate 7.) Armored Centuar 8.) Robot Knight 9.) Brave Man (tribute to William from Scotland) 10.) Fairy Queen 11.) Horse Knight with a tan foal horse 12.) Peasant Kid with a kid goat if I was the gradient I would throw Viking King and Ninja Master into Caslte CMF series and running other two form my roster. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would think Caslte CMF ferries be a mix of classic and new minifigures, just following Space CMF Series’ examples. AFOLs would go berserk if there are classic / throwback minifigures to chase after and build army. Maybe Lego already realized when they put Wolfpack Breastmaster and Falconer into the previous CMF series. Meant they would include non-Caslte characters like Viking and ninja since both classic Viking and Ninja themes are part of the “Castle” core. Also, I welcome fantasy and City elements. I cna’t believe they already released Crocidle Costume Fan without a minifigure hand, just to pay tribute to Capitan Hook… I would vote for Kraken costume fan over Moby Dick one since the Moby Duck is not quite exclty “pirate-y” but I like Moby Brick idea idea for Modular Building’s Bookshop! -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
Lion King replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
For some reason, I dobut it. It’s not like Super Mario as there are so many ministers, such as collected teams, gym leaders, ash and his friends. At same time, Super Mario has digifigures. But I can see why they ight not do 8-bit figures due to the cost of small molds. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I can’t see Pirate CMF series that will have classic figures. Like others say, Space Series 26 has alien tourist, UFO costume fan, android nurse, etc that are not existing in the classic themes, I think. It’s really nice to have a series mixed of “throwback” and new minifigures. I can understand why Space fans were disappointed about Blacktron Mutant and that’s not exactly a throwback. Anyways, i can see Pirate CMF series would have random characters like Pirate Ship Costuem Fan, Ship Collector, Sea Guardian, Fiary Pirate, etc. I just think automakers tarnish CMF series will appeal both young and adult audiences. Same way wiht Castle CMF series, I woudl instant it includes castle costume fan, zombie king, medicinal historian, diary queen, etc., along with throwback minifigures. i just love the idea of Space Series’ example. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
lol i was a designer, I would not make a pirate-themed series repetitive. I have some ideas for this: 1.) Governor’s Daughter with a new dual-molded hairpiece with a bow 2.) Pirate Ship Costume Fan 3.) Pirate Queen with a huge hairpeice + a hat 4.) Sea Guardian (merman) with shell-thronged spear and shell-designed bronze shield 5.) Pirate Fairy 6.) Archeologist with a “rusty”-printed sword or revolver 7.) Cyborg Pirate with a trans-neon blue sword (trans-neon blue won’t’ be likely at the moment) 8.) Shipwreck Pirate with a wing-spreading parrot or a recolored monkey 9.) Imperial Solider 10.) Island King with a grand mask (maybe islander won’t happen but it’s 100% fictional tho) 11.) Legendary Piate (a tribute to Sinbad) 12.) Ship Collector with a bottle that is printed a pirate ship pacify. Themed series are not always pure. Lego just likes to mix up random minifigures and call it “Monsters” (they threw Skeleton Guy even tho he is not a monster) or call it “Space” but they threw Alien Tourist, Spacewalking Astronanut, Retro Space Hero with robot dog, Android Nurse, Robot Chef, UFO Costume Fan, etc. To be honest, i feel silver color is John’s downgraded. Bronze, then silver, then gold. But Mrs. Silver sounds lovely! Oh i saw this. But this, this, this, this. -

Honestly, i dont’ think Series 30 would be a big deal as 50th anniveary of miniature is in 2028. So I feel like Sries 30 is Matthew regualr series. Like Mr. Gold for Series 10 and Green Brick Guy (with a “10” tile) for Series 20. Both series are regular. you know, what? Forget what I said and i will take pirate themed series! -
I wonder if Lego used budget for both CMF and Icons to resurrect a goat by making a “new” mold?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
We have seen Monsters (Series 14), Birthday Party (Series 18), Costume Party (Series 22), Space (Series 26), and Animals (Series 28) i wonder what’s next? I am hoping for Castle, Pirates, or Underwater series. It’s interesting to see all special themed series have even numbers (14, 18, 22, 26, 28).And there are 4-series gap between the first four series (14, 18, 22, and 26). But it it’s 2-series gap between series 26 and 28 now. I guess pattern changed. -
How could hurt keep up wiht BAM fi it’s monthly rather than quarterly?

LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
Lion King replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
Meant I might have mispoken but I NEVER said taht Lego Pokemon theme shoudl be limited to Gen 1. And I agree with you on starters, Legendaries / mythicals, and popular Pokemon. I do think Gen 1 is a good start for Lego and move forward with other Gens. Although, it’s kinda odd to see Geodude showing up in one of the pouncing sets. Geodude is not quite popular but Gengar is very popular. I assume it’s Brock’s Rock Pokemon but defintiely not a fan favorite (jsut my personal opinion). Jsut no Mega/Paradox/Terra/Shiny/etc etc…. -
Since mouse and flanking were overtones in 2018 and 2019 respectively and it’s 2026, it’s definitely likely that their musks had been destroyed. However, they did resurrect the famous goat in 2023 after over a decade. Why can’t Lego keep molds tho?

Okay, no dead zoo then…. *grumbling* I still think it’s kinda cool to ahve some sketeal cat, dog, bear, orca, big cat, fox, etc. But that’s fair they might be misrepresented. I will still like to see zombie animals (half flesh and half skeletal).
