  1. Back to the spooky topic…. It looks like Lego has a new lineup called Midnight Village that mirrors Winter Village in a spooky way. Spooky Haunted House set has 3 minifigures (, i think it’s a female mayor, butler, and maid?) and that build, I think, will have be more like Winter Village (not entirely enclosed). So I think it’s time for a new thread for “Midnight Village” then as this one is for cherry and festive Christmas town.
  2. Right? I am skpetical of the statement he made taht he “heard” rumors about in-house theme as there is no actual rumor. Wherever he heard that from, he is still the notorious Turtle - although, i do wish there are some new in-house themes. Botatnicals are not ever new to us as it has been here for years. I will ask the Man Upstairs, not him…
  3. In my opinion, if they want to do a traditional Hallowen or Christmas-themed 16x32 Modular Building sets, i don’t think they would want to step using baseplate. I never heard of that policy myself either but I can see why they would do that for Ideas sets. “Midnight Vallage” name sounds cool to me! And i think 3 minifigures are a good start as it’s a toe in water for its new lineup like they did othe Winter Village and Modular Building Collections in the past. I kinda wish there would be a traditional Halloween / Christmas-themed modualr buildings on 16x32 baseplates so they will include printed elements, although I welcome a new, seperate lineup.
  4. I agree with you. A head and torso won’t be enough for CMF as it shoudl be a whole minifigure. Same design for 12 cars, different colors for 12 cars. Boring, indeed. I still cna’t bleieve that Lego is not looking at the first series’ poor sale!
  5. I did say “ i don’t know if there is an. Actual rumor”. But the infamous Turtle said that in other thread and it’s hard for me to bleieve his so-called claim. At the same time, I am curious where he heard that there would be a new in-house between1 - 2 years from now. Hence, there is no actual rumor yet. Sorry for confusion. As for Hallowen village, i think it’s sitll under Icons jsut like Winter Village so it might be a rumored lineup under Icons.
  6. I don’t know if there is an actual rumor but it says that there might be a new in-house theme next year or two. So we shall see.
  7. Could it be more like DFB series? Winners of the F1 races?
  8. Well Probably true. I will reserve my judgement on Donkey the talking megablocks in Shrek CMF until the series is revealed. However, i feel like that character is considers as “normal” donkey.
  9. . Yes, I did watch Shrek and its sequels when I was a kid. I think you misunderstand my quesiton-of my quesiton. Please correct me if I am wrong but is the a leaked pic of Donkey himself? If so, I have been wondering waht Donkey looks like becasue of his eyes in Lego form. In animated form, his eyes seem “nomral” to me. His animated appearance looks normal. That’s why I asked that question.
  10. Isn’t there a donkey mold in Shrek CMF as a useful animal? I’m gald that we will get corgi and dragged in Series 30. But sure about squirrel. *skipping Forumal 1 Series 2* I don’t know about September CMF series in 2027 but i feel like Series 31 would be another speical-themed in-house CMF series right after F1 series like Animal Cosutmes. So we better watch out for “wishing” traps or we will be doomed to big disappointments. And it mgiht sound cotrsorital but I odn’t mind another Animal Costumes series with no animals. Now you can start an angry mob….. Good luck with signing me in a deep jungle.
  11. I guess it doens’t dawn on Lego that the first F1 Series was not Selina well and decided to do another series. Unless they include minifigures this time? No buildable helmets and vehicles…. Or is Series 31 going to be another speical themed series just like they did with Anmal Costumes after the first F1?
  12. Why would they save money if the first F1 series was not selling well tho?
  13. I know it’s very dissapointing that there won‘I be a new in-house theme right away. As Lego knows DreamZzz and Monkie Kid’s marketing performances are fairly poor. I think Lego should find way to make in-house themes more interesting. I really like DreamZzz as it has 2-in-1 builds and some cool accessories. And Monkie Kid’s storyline is great but sets are overpriced., i think it’s becuase of Chinese market. I have a hope that there will be a new in-house in future, maybe next year or two.
  14. Agreed - there is no offering for speical configures each milestone. I can’t tell if cyberpunk painter is going to be a “speical” minifigure. But I like your suggestion that game show host with a “30” on a big check. We shall see.
  15. I counted the number of minifigures and we have 12. So my quesiotn - where is a speical minifigure for third milestone? We had Mr. Gold in series 10 and Green Brick Costume Guy (with a “10” tile) in Series 20.
  16. Yeah, Definitley it’s fan-made polls. It has me wonder it’s just interesting to see hopsital and post office popped up vai AI. It made me if Lego is looking for “high votes” for 20th anniveary set. But it’s still not a fact.
  17. Rose waht? Oh! Now i see why I was confused….
  18. Soooooooo it’s July and we are 5 or 6 months away from offical reveal. Surely it’s under tight wraps, so there won’t be much leaks this summer. But when I googled “2027 modular building Lego set” and AI mentieond fans voted hospital and post office. I wonder where was that poll from. But both hopsital and post office are great (and potential) choices for the 20th anniveary set, although it’s kinda odd that hopsital is not enabler “celebrate-y” with bunch of thrwobacks to previous modular buildings.
  19. It would be very cute if they do a North Pole Fire Station, a North Pole Train Station, a North Pole Town Hall, a North Pole Workshop (remake), and more.
  20. Is it strange that CMF is meant for kids and adults while there were Simposons sets targeted for adult audiences? We had Simpsons Series 1 and 2 for kids for marking reasons (in other words, Simpsons are for adult argument). Idk waht to explain…
  21. Other than Spooky Haunted House set, not yet. If i remember correclty, leaks / rumors would turn up in either July or Augusut shreds of the Witner Village set’s release in October.
  22. Haha no worries! I was very strapped that most of us here specialty’s Series 30 would be a thrwoback series yet it didn’t happen. I guess they were focusing on Series 30 too much to forget about 50th anniveary of minifigures. And we better not fall into Lego’s trap as they did with Series 22 for 90th anniveary of Lego in 2022. A bunch of costumes.
  23. I’m in minor, but i hope it would be Nintendo CMF Series! I’m the ohter hand, I welcome another non-licensed speical themed CMF Series. But it’s not likely as we have Space in 2024 and Animal Costume in 2026. In 2028, we will have 50th anniveary for minifigures so it will be a speical themed CMF series, I assume. So I will be happy with a classic one.
  24. What about Day of the Dead set? Yup and i think we did discuss about the islander king’s potential return to rumored “Classic” CMF series last year. Someone stated that islanders and Native Aemricans should be fictional within Lego world so it shoudl not be offensive to real-life ones, no? And I”m not trying to spark a heated debate here as we did that several times in past years. But… I don’t mind Native American and Islander figs make return to CMF series.
  25. I think I have some ideas too! After looking at those characters from TLM2, i wonder if beloved minifigures from old themes take a twisted turn. Johnny Thunder with a worn-out / beaten hat and a robotic arm Basil the Batlord with a huger axe and a mask with one wing chipped off Pepper Roni with a hovercraft and a pizza cannon Paradisa woman with a chainsaw and heavy armor Viking woman with one arm and a gunblade Okay, we need some more Mad Max-esque characters…. Lego, take notes!
