Thanks, if you'd like to see the amphibious cars, these below have been built by NV_Carmocs on Rebrickable. He's actually the one who first kickstarted my TG/TGT obsession, with his MOCs, and that's what inspired me to build Oliver and John!

"What a MACHINE you are, John!" - Jeremy Clarkson A LEGO MOC of John the homemade truck from The Grand Tour Mongolia Special, one of the most beloved episodes of all time for fans of Clarkson, Hammond and May. Since the real John was scrapped after filming the episode, this is your only chance to have the next best thing! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. John fits three minifigures on his bench seat with central driving position, just like on the show, as well as opening doors, a decorative winch, cameras, tools, and light bar. Stickers are added too for the license plates, the "John" lettering on the rear, and for Mr. Wilman's map that resides below the steering wheel. File for the stickers (to print on sticker paper) is included with purchase of instructions. A tutorial will go up on my YouTube channel in the near future about how to make your own Clarkson, Hammond, and May minifigures with parts you can buy on Bricklink, so stay tuned!

Haha, thanks for the comment! I made Oliver a little taller than I would have liked too but that's because of the height of the wheels and scaling the car with them. It towers over other 8-wide cars because of this, almost like an SUV.

I made a LEGO Oliver, Richard Hammond's 1963 Opel Kadett featured on Top Gear's beyond-iconic Botswana Special as well as the DriveTribe YouTube channel! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. Building a LEGO car in tan is unusual, but I'm extremely happy with the final result, although rather unfortunately Oliver appears very big and tall next to other 8-wide cars, since he uses the same size tires. Oliver fits three minifigures (two in front, one in the rear seats) and comes with two pairs of license plates, "OLI V3R" from when he originally imported the car back to the UK and the "ANP 210A" plates the car has on it present-day. File for the license plates (to print on sticker paper) is included with purchase of instructions. I even made a Richard Hammond minifigure to go with it!

Honestly I would like to see a mod that makes the paddle shifters realistic (only one paddle moves when shifting) and puts them right next to the angled steering wheel as well. Similar to the @Jeroen Ottens DB11 shifter I used in my Technic Lexus LC500 MOC. Really wish the set had this and the angled wheel originally because it makes it so much more realistic.

Since Kotobukiya hasn't made her into a figure yet, I decided to make a brick-built action figure of Zero's love interest and Mega Man heartthrob, Iris. Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. She has authentic articulation with its many joints, plus various details from the game series: Four changeable facial expressions (normal, happy, worried, and dead). Open hands and fists. Adjustable ponytail. Wide skirt made using a cobweb piece. Posing stand for air poses and stability. Posing stand for dead Iris to be held by Zero. Anguished face for my previously-made Zero figure from the infamous "what am i fighting for" cutscene in Mega Man X4! Display plaque with Iris' last words quoted.

Despite it being my favorite car of all time, I'm not interested at all in this set, there's just so many agonizing flaws, from the cockpit, to the spoiler's 1x6 tile not being on absolute top, and the headlights and grille are really bad too. Looks like a Pontiac Fiero kit car. I built Barneius' F40 from Rebrickable in yellow a while back, and while it's not perfect (heavy use of stickers, interior has a bench seat with no center column or shifter since its cramped) it's many miles more accurate and "F40" than this set.

42172 - McLaren P1
StudWorks replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks great, though I don't like the use of fence parts, looks odd IMO. -
I think everyone including myself complained about it already, but I do wish it was a lot faster, especially with the new RC system. I expected performance in the middle between Control+ and 2000s Buggy but it appears to be only about as fast as the other fastest Control+ sets. At least it ain't no Top Gear Rally Car.

[MOC] Ferrari F40 1:12
StudWorks replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great, but I liked your 1:10 version better. Please consider bringing those instructions back to Rebrickable because I'd love to build it! -

Really? It looks that flawed exterior-wise IRL? I honestly still feel like the accuracy is pretty spot-on except for the front end and door gaps. Edit: I also realized the side windows look taller than they should be, compared to the real car. Anyone else noticed this? -

How much cheaper do you think this set would be if LEGO decided to not give it a gearbox? -

StudWorks replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yeah, I believe I remember hearing the P1 uses its electric motor for reversing. Also thank god the butterfly doors don't unrealistically articulate like they did on the SP3, where it was silly (for some reason nobody tried fixing it). -

It definitely would be a better collectible investment than a $100,000 McNugget in the shape of an Among Us guy. Yes, that's a real story. -

StudWorks replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yeah, definitely the most obscure GWP I've ever seen. Why couldn't they make something actually desirable, like an 8-wide Speed Champions P1 or something? -

Hence why I was hoping the set would be motorized. Whamp whamp. -

This is why you're such a great guy, RacingBrick. In your comments and your reviews you're always an optimistic voice of reason-type, and when you criticize a set for its flaws you do it in a very respectful manner. No disrespect to those on Eurobricks who aren't like this though.
