  1. Have you thought about using 1L Liftarms stacked on flex axles for the Wheel arches? This option would allow for a continuous stripe, just put a black 1L liftarm at the correct height
  2. 1:7 scale? From what I know the biggest you can do ist ~1:8 scale? Put some Pictures of the Car you want to build and of your WIP up here m8
  3. Boi if you do a 4 cylinder conversion, but don't upgrade to the big Technic Cylinders, I have no hope for you
  4. They will replace broken parts? Not for free tho right? Otherwhise they'd get a nice little package from me
  5. Well, If they really intended to do that, they should at least have included 3 spare connectors per wheel. There is no point in using parts meant to be replaced, without including spares.
  6. This is the only Forum I've ever been a part of, so I have never known anything else. I joined not that long ago, and before I realized it this Forum became like a Safehaven I visit multiple times per day. I took everything here for granted. Thank you all for being awesome people
  7. Congrats from me as well, this contest produced some amazing results
  8. I dont think I have been here long enough to realize a major change of posting behaviour. I did notice some useless fightings, and I think I was part of one once, because of a stupid misinterpretation. We all need to chill. Well, all I can do is try to not be part of the problem
  9. Wow, thats actually really cool The Audi caracteristics are nicely done, I am just not a fan of Stickers, but ok. Can you show some internal mechanisms, especially of the air suspension setup please?
  10. Ooh you are right, my bad. I somehow did not notice the black biece behind it, it was kinda hard to see at the video moment i noticed it.
  11. Its pretty cool the Gearbox is still somewhat visilble, but the rear door mechanism is executed so badly. That small curved slope is held in place by a single stud, and has to keep the entire rear door in place. So a single stud is supposed to keep the trunk shut... I noticed that too... Its a pretty simple gearbox setup, so why?
  12. RX7 progress is slow but steady. A twin rotor version of this engine is already mounted, connected to a 5+R manual transmission. I thought aubout going for a quad-rotor engine, but the rear two rotors wouldn't have been visible anyways, so I scrapped that Idea.
  13. The only parts you want to trust with the force of the hard springs are Liftarms/Technic Bricks and axles, and maybe, maybe some pins.
  14. Well, sadly I had to cancel my AE 86, otherwhise these Wheels might have been useful.
  15. I dont want to hate on your model, but you should rethink your front suspension setup. In the first Pic it looks okay, but in the other ones the suspension is tilted forwards, which is a very bad thing to do. You want it to be at least straight , or even better slightly tilted backwards, so the shocks coming from the front when driving can directly compress the shock absorbers, without putting much stress on the frame.
  16. While I do think think the Defender Model does not look half bad, I do hate that it is a smaller Scale than the other two cars. That way the new Rims are useless for me. I only build in 1:8 Scale, and I really want another set of Rims than the Porsche's.
  17. Wow. I am not big into the offroad cars thing, but out of all the ones I have seen so far, this has to be one of my favorites. Mean looks, impressive performance and a clean body and color choice, without any blue Pins messing up the look. Nice.
  18. A friend of mine when I was like 8 years old had this RC Car featuring these Tires, and I got to try it out. Was pretty amazing, the Tires were pretty soft, and the Car pretty fast, we had so much fun. Good memories
  19. At a public place? What did you do? Throw them all in a Backpack or a Box and just take them with you? I guess that would be possible when building at such a small scale.
  20. What kind of tires are these? First I thought you were using the Exo Force wheels because of the color, but those would be bigger I believe. To me it looks like stacked BMW tires, but on what wheels will you fit them? The Porsche's? That would be so cool, a Offroad monster with sportscar wheels
  21. Wow, what a giant machine! Have there really been licensing problems with LEGO instructions before? That would be such a shitty move, to attack someone who took months or even years out of his life to show his love for one of your company's products.
  22. Please, but especially if you plan on upgrading the Springs, dont use that yellow connector on such a heavy duty task. Its a quite fragile Brick, so it will definatelly break sooner or later. Suspension design needs to be sturdy a f. And I dont think that yellow connector can reliably handle 0.5kg or more of force, which it would have to on a 1:8 model. Such big Models get heavy really quickly.
  23. First thing I thought was: "This looks like something from an Anime!" Pretty cool bodywork, and the color sceme really makes it pop. You could have gone for a Railgun equipped sidecar instead of the support wheels, just saying
  24. No? of course not? It will not be possible to put in that gearbox without heavy frame remodeling of the Porsche, as this gearbox uses two rows of gears above each other, and the Porsche Gearbox is flat. It is definatelly impossible without using extra pieces. Not to be offensive or anything, but did you even think before asking that question? This gearbox you want to swap to contains the blue transmission Gears introduced in the Bugatti Chiron
  25. Well, price. Making metal parts actually cost money, so TLG would not make 80% profit anymore. And weight. A 3kg plasic model made from steel would probably be like 8kg. Drop it once...and you are dead.
