  1. A bendy bus and maybe even a little post office scene in the same set is literally in "Hurry up and buy" territory.
  2. An articulated bus has been my dream for City for a long time now. I hope there is one in that set.
  3. Whoa now! Your son is smart. I didn't build my first modular until I was 15 and that's when the Cafe Corner came out. And I had to get a friend to help me with that one. But your son is building modulars on his own. Welp, he's been raised by the right people. Kudos to you!
  4. Pretty much all Lego buses, except for the school bus from the 2022 school set have managed to impress. You'll love to have one in your town. Trust me!
  5. It actually makes a complete build! Its actually a good piece to have in your town.
  6. I saw this bus terminal and coffee shop on Lego Ideas. Perhaps if they remove one of the buses, it could work.
  7. Now that's something I'd back up! We've seen at least 4 hospitals in City and about 2 or 3 for Friends. Time to do one for modulars.
  8. Especially if you want to get kids interested in this line of work. You mean like a mini-postal services subtheme? Dude, do you know how long I've been fighting for one of those? I mean yeah, we had the ones from 2008, but that seemed to focus more on the shipping cargo aspect than the postal service. For a theme like that, along with a post office as the base set and a mail van for going short distances I'd also add a postal heliplane for air delivery and a long mail semi hauler used for delivering cross-country. A postal train sounds good too.
  9. I said I wanted to see City's take on it and modulars aren't supposed to be for kids. Modulars are geared towards older audiences.
  10. I think Lego is trying to do something similar to that thing that cereal companies do when you get a prize by sending in X amount of box tops during a promotion. It's really just a ploy to sell more sets so they make certain sets that they KNOW will be desired by not only adults, but kids as well, challenging to obtain. But thanks to eBay, this set wouldn't be that hard to get.
  11. Love the idea of a Modular and yes we can always MOC our own post offices. But I'd also want to see City's take on it. They've already shown me their take on a grocery store and a school.
  12. Perhaps we should see what 60380 has other offer. That's the number of the town booster set we're supposed to get this summer.
  13. That or one of those re-releases like those two UK exclusive fire station sets in 2022.
  14. That or the insane amount of civilian based sets that have been announced over the summer such as the urban center, apartment building, house, ice cream shop and car wash; all of which are on my list.
  15. Still no pics though. Why am I excited to see the summer wave though? I just don't understand it. I got excited about the winter wave for this year, only for it to disappoint.
  16. Whoa! That's nice man! I love how you used those steering wheel pieces for free wheels. That's pretty clever. Overall, I think you've got this car on point. Great job!
  17. Oh my! Looks like some curious forces will be visiting your town soon!
  18. I agree with you 100% on everything. Personally, I won't be really into this set as I'm a town builder and I prefer to not have monster vehicles in my town (Sorry if I'm being picky so I only do vehicles with normal wheels. But for playability, this set is a great set and its a shame this wasn't a mainstream set as part of a Paramedics or Medical subtheme as I can say for a fact that kids would love to have this in their collection. As far as the back door is concerned, it looks like you've got your work cut out for you. But congrats on getting the set. Enjoy it!
  19. I have to agree with you there. I'm also a Christian and I don't condone playing with God's word. But here's the thing, just don't buy if it makes you feel uncomfortable. This may be a bit off topic given the title of this forum, but some people should take that advice as far as the Harry Potter sets are concerned. Stay away from what you don't like. I give kudos to you!
  20. I love these models. You did such a great job. My favorite one is Gordon. I wish Lego could actually do this.
  21. LOL! There were only four flavors advertised.
  22. WOW!!!!! Now I was hoping for one of those. If they release standalone race cars like they did the standalone Stunt bikes, I'm going on a shopping spree. Now the last time Lego released a race car set was in 2020 when the new age City sets began to be released. It was called the 60256 Race Car Duel. Though, I think there was a go kart polybag in 2022. But that doesn't really count I don't think.
  23. It's not really a reveal if there are no pictures. But I'm excited to see what the sets are like. I hope it's a revival of the race cars from the early 90s that were featured in Lego Island.
  24. Yeah! I saw that GWP and I think its a neat build, especially for a town that's based in the mountains. Personally, I prefer ambulances made for the road, like the one included in the emergency vehicle headquarters set, which I proudly use as a 911 dispatch center. I wish I would've kept that ambulance though as it would've been good for my hospital. I'll need to find the pieces to that one. Btw, I need to ask you something. Are you a town builder too? You speak a lot about getting parts and using City sets for parts so I was just wondering. If you are a town builder, can I follow you on Instagram.....if you have?
