  1. Yes! Subthemes do count! I do subthemes all the time,
  2. I agree! Plus, I thought of the pedestrian crew (Red Greenbase, Polly Gone, Shiney Doris and Bradford Brickford) having a jazz band.
  3. So with that being said....... that'll be the case for City from now on. We're talking the best selling theme amongst children and that's an even bigger case since 2022, thus why we had to wait for certain sets. Thing is, Lego knows that certain City sets will sell. That's why they held off the grocery store and train station like they did back in 2022. Because they know people will want it. So for 2023, which has a lot of goodies being released for the summer, they know that the sets will fly off of the shelves. This is apparently not the case for other countries, but for the US, its a big deal.
  4. I agree! I wouldn't have wanted goofy sets like that as a child. Blame OCD, but I was a clean build lover and still am.
  5. Yeah! I was shocked to find them there. But upset to not see City magazine.
  6. You didn't have to show all the pictures to prove your point. I was only talking about the Lego City magazines. We see Friends, Ninjago and Dreamz in the US.
  7. Given what Lego has been offering in the City theme recently, I'd say they care enough.
  8. The ones released for City are actually pretty nice.
  9. It's always the good City sets that the US gets late. It's like Lego knows town builders want these sets and do it to make us angry or tease us.
  10. Whoa! Now this is an amazing vehicle! I am a die hard Japanese car lover and the 180SX fastback is one of my favorite vehicles. Its definately an underrated piece of machinery, but it wasn't popular due to similar looks to the 240SX, which is a badge that's more popular.
  11. Nope! City magazine is exclusive to most of Europe.
  12. Ok! Since we have obviously returned to the City renassance now, where were are introducing sets with barely any vehicles, I have an idea for a set. For anyone who has had a passion to work for the auto industry, my idea for an awesome City set would be a drive-thru express service lube, similar to the ones owned by the Jiffy Lube company. Like the buildings that we're going to see during the summer, the set would mainly focus on the building with one car for the mechanics to repair and one of the garages can have a lift. Just an idea.
  13. See? That's my problem. Everywhere except North America. Even Asia gets them in June. It's disgraceful. Us American AFOLs should protest.
  14. They're listed for August on the US site. Thus why I'm disappointed. I made plans to buy that house.
  15. I'm hot now! We've gotta wait until August in the US. Like as in NONE of the sets are coming to the states until August. Lego really knows how to do they're biggest selling region wrong.
  16. I'm wondering when they'll appear on the official site. Other themes already list sets that are coming soon. I hope we don't have to wait until August in the US.
  17. Wait! So we'll have to wait until July to get these sets?
  18. A thread about love for printed pieces! Nice one! For me personally, it depends on the set. Like if it's a small set, stickers a pretty pointless. But if it's a big set, I'll take either stickers or printed pieces. Perhaps even a combination of both.
  19. I WANT THAT CAR WASH!!!!!!! https://www.brickfanatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LEGO-City-60362-Car-Wash-2.jpeg
  20. Brooooooo! The 60271 Main Square set was literally one of the very few sets from the 2020 wave that gave me hope for the City theme.
  21. So.....uh......I wonder when we're going to see the sets on the official site.
  22. They're still not on the official site as coming soon sets.
