So I am digging this summer 2023 wave! I almost can't till June to actually see these on shelves. I can't decide which one to get first! I wish I were wealthy so I could buy all of the ones I wanted at the same time! Given that my town's service center has already been established, I'm prolly going to get the car wash first.

Ok! Lego went above and beyond the call of duty with these summer City sets. I think my bank account is going to be pretty empty this summer. Especially because I'm getting that urban center, which can actually act as a shopping mall in my town. I wish a little shuttle bus or something could've come with it. But that's alright. I'll just use the bus from my train station. Also, after seeing pictures, the other sets I'm getting are the house, apartment building and car wash. I'd like to see more pics of the ice cream shop though before I make my decision there. And even though I don't plan to buy, those expolorers vehicles are WICKED!!!!!!! Given that their liveries are all the same, I'm assuming that all explorers are coming under one head

So far, almost all themes have revealed their newest sets. But City hasn't. Oooooooh the suspense is killing me. Well...... German Shephereds are primarily seen in police sets, while Dalmations are prominent in the fire sets. But those are just two examples because there were other breeds as well. For example; Siberian Huskies were pretty prominent in the arctic sets - mostly the 2018 ones. In 2020, an American Bulldog made an appearance in the tuning workshop set, which for the record is my favorite set of that year. That same year was also an Albino Pitbull that was included in the 2020 police station (I'm surprised that Lego didn't cancel THAT set as a scene in that set kinda gave subtle hints to a dog fight! My gawd, Lego can be so hypocritical at times!). Did I forget to mention that the service station (Which is by far the worse one I've seen from Lego) also had a Chihuahua mold. Then in 2021, there was a Chocolate Lab that was assisting a blind man in one of the town booster sets in and a Yellow Lab included in the family home - which acts as my sigfig's dog! So with that being said, I think City has pretty much focused on all the popular dog breeds except for the Rottweiler, Great Dane and the French Poodle. If they were to make those, then I'd get those straight off of Bricks and Pieces.

Though I don't plan to have any train MOCs in my town, I enjoy seeing them here on Eurobricks. Especially passenger trains. I think this one is one of my favorites. Great Job on the detail!

My town doesn't like very tall buildings. So I took the top floor off of mine and just made it a two story building.

Oooooh yes! I love Lego Island. Good job with the Pixza Planet truck in there

Oh come Lego! Couldn't it had just been a special set that you could only get through mail order or something? You had to cancel it entirely. I have that fire station! I think that fire station was actually nice. Easy to customize too!

@TeriXeri I love the working bikes for Stuntz. I wish the motor was avalible outside the Stuntz subtheme. Like make a police or fire bike with a motor.

Unpopular Opinions about LEGO
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Another unpopular opinion that I know will face opposition, but I don't care! Friends is better for town builders who want to utilize the simplified building technique than City is. While City did come out with some good buildings in 2022, thus that being my favorite 2020s City wave, some of the Friends version's of those buildings (i.e. the school) just looked better. -
Pretty much all the pull cord helicopter sets of 2020. Those did so horrible that they were one and done. The helicopters didn't even fly. They fell straight to the ground after pulling the cord.
