  1. Well hello ladies... Seems I'm so far the only man here talkin so fer, but I guess that don't matter not so much--we gots to wrestle us up some monsters! But I fear it dern gonna be as hard as herding cats, and I reckon that it may take some moons, but we can get her done! So let’s not get our britches in knots and work like a football team to finish this. Initializing Karen.0 Online. Analyzing, Analyzing, Analyzing: “Hello fellow Councilmen and women, I welcome you. There is danger here, and we must wrestle some Monsters. This will be a hard task, that may take many days and nights, but we will succeed. Please don’t get your pants in knots lets work like a well-organized soccer team and score a victory.”
  2. Da how-are-ya doing fellow Council members?! We've got a murder-ers in here, and we need to wrestle them down; so if it's anything similar to wrestling gators you've done got the right red head on yer team! Now let’s get 'er done!
  3. I've not heard about it, but through your link I just read about it. Not something I think people would should be interested in entering. It's not like a regular contest I guess, since there's apparently tons of phases you must past--with the first phase being your idea of a video, phase two being some written script type thing, with phase three being the video. It's long and complicated, with the ones who pass the phases getting money to work on the next phase er something, and I personally I don't think it's a good idea since it comes off as suspicious to me.
  4. Hopefully there's just a few spots left (Figures the one day I skip looking at the Mafia Form a new game starts! ) How do you know if you're right for this game? 1. What is your favorite Collectible Minifigure? Medusa 2. Will you be able to post on a daily basis over the next month or two? Yes, tons of free time! 3. Can you keep up with 24 hour night action deadlines? Yes 4. I almost forgot to ask for your experience! Aperture Academy and Silver City Mafia 5. Will you be ready to experience whatever horror the simplicity of my first hosting experience brings? Yes (But don't quote me on that)
  5. I find this a great announcement! I was fine with getting a MoS sequel, but getting one with Batman is even better. As stated earlier, I loved MoS so I expect the sequel to be good too, and I also think that really any films they can place in before Justice League will help greatly (Plus stop them from rushing the JLA movie just ride coattails of Marvel). And I'm very happy to finally see a Flash movie in the works, since I always see him as almost the Iron Man of DC, where a more light hearted funny movie would work very well for the character and his inclusion in the major team ups. (Anyone else think a Superman cameo in the Flash movie should be the two racing? That would be amazing!) There’s no chance of that—and in fact I think Nolan has repeatedly stated that they will not be, nor he wants them to be, connected in the same continuity at all. And I think just as importantly, it would be basically impossible/unbelievable that they could exist in the same continuity with all the events that transpired in DK Rises. They have their own good thing starting, so I don't think grasping straws from the Nolan films will do any good.
  6. This new set looks nice to me (A casual Lego LotR fan), but it seems a bit lacking to me--almost like it's missing something.
  7. I agree with that; with that being the underlying problem. I hate how he is still missing yellow boots too! If we waited this long for Flash, we should have a perfect one! On another note, I was wrong (Dun Dun Dun) on the Batman (Not Batgirl) thing, though he too looks off to me. I'm not a fan of the grey colored gloves, and the torso looks smushed together to me. Oh well.
  8. Edit: Never mind. On the picture, I can see Lego is improving on the cane, and I guess it's better in gold. I don't like the prints on Riddler or Batman however, and that orange windshield is just bad. Still, Flash (Though I still hate the helmet)
  9. I'd hope not--I mean I'd rather get new characters then more versions of Batman and Robin; especially when they're based on a so so performance (Off topic, but the show was not too good, a Robin and Joker fest--though seeing those Lego statues at the show was a surprise).
  10. That's not conclusive! If anything, the Batmobile (Er whatever it is; personally I don't think it's the Batmobile, more like one of his many rides Lego makes up) only seems to be inspired from the show--nothing else in the set indicates that it's a Beware the Batman set. And I'm actually happy it's that way, since to me it seems way better to continue with DC comic sets so we can attempt to get a JLA rather then get Beware the Batman sets with Mr. Pyg and Magpie.
  11. So the Riddler is supposed to have a banana? Hahahahaha, well that does make me think that perhaps Gorilla Grodd would have been a better villan choice here; a new awesome Riddler is nice, but I think we should only be getting new characters since there's so many not currently in plastic.
  12. Well again, these are preliminary. However I do agree that when/if we get a Batgirl, she would need a new mask/cowl, preferably with hair at the back. And you are right about the "borrowing of designs", which I accept, but I don't see this singular set as a beginning of a wave of BtB sets in the fashion of Marvel's Ultimate Spiderman sets.
  13. I'm not so sure this set is based off of Beware the Batman. I mean the only thing that looks remotley like the show is the front style of the Batmobile (Er whatever it is, it's most likely some kind of Bat-Something), everything else about it is wrong--the figure selections (Flash and Riddler have not, nor will they, appear in BtB--since the producers only want unpopular obscure characters). And I see how the symbol looks somewhat like BtB, but I think it fits Batgirl better. Plus, I do want to point out that Beware the Batman just started this past Saturday (US), so by the time the sets come out, the first season will be over and be in an off period--so that doesn't seem like a good time to release sets on a show that's not on currently airing. Of course, like I said in the 2013 thread, I really don't care who the bat in the mobile turns out to be, since we have Flash.
  14. This is a good start--but I hope the figures at the Con will be further in development, at least in regards to Flash. He needs yellow boots, and a full head helmet would be nice (Basically I want him as he is in the game, which was perfect!). I'm in the group that thinks it's Batgirl rather then Batman, but even if it turns out to be another Batman, it's all made good by getting a Flash.
  15. Darn the scum won! Oh well, for the last few game days it seemed like that would anyways. And while I was the first lynched, and my game was short, it was fun watching all the other players try win--great game Tammo!
  16. Not a fan of the exclusive figs for the scalpers again. While they do not seem to be as impressive overall compared to last year, I'm still upset that Lego continues to make exclusive characters and not put them it sets, especially when the characters are major like Shazam, Bizarro, and Green Arrow. Now I just hope that Lego can fix their wrongs when SDCC begins and they unveil the other Justice League members we desperately need.
  17. He would only count for his Lone Ranger character, since the Lego Extremis soldier is not based off him, and based more on the generic Extremis soldiers from the movie.
  18. Oooh! Retro! Love the Batmobile, and I think the red tubes really make this creation--great job!
  19. Batman vs Black Mask Bullets fly as Batman attempts to take down the powerful drug kingpin Black Mask in his run down narcotics warehouse. This is the largest Batman creation I’ve made, and in addition to being packed full of details, it’s also the first time I’ve made a scene where Batman is after the Black Mask. It’s also my first creation that’s greatly inspired by the Arkham games, with the character choices stemming from the soon to be released Arkham Origins. The build itself features tons of details from twin conveyor belts moving drugs to six large windows. There’s also two wall mounted ventilation fans as well as two celling fans. There’s also three large support beams on the roof that hold up three large lights that Batman is running across (Dodging fire at the same time!). A small office is there too, as well as two gargoyles for the Dark Knight to perch on. Clean up in the narcotics aisle... This creation was actually first shown in an interview I had with Beyond the Brick. You can watch that interview .Inverted Takedown Enjoy ~Captain Nemo
  20. Hahaha! These are great! All of the creations are awesome, and if there's one thing for sure it seem Kraangs were always angry looking! I love the painted penguin version in the last build! Great job!
  21. Sweet! It's great to really see some Kaliphlin oil fields, since they generally only seemed to be talked about and not seen. I love the bubbles!
  22. Hah, I don't know how romantic I'd call it--the tree does looks like it could eat them! Great job!
  23. Sweet build! The whole curve of the wall is great; and I have to say the bear fight does give me a Game of Thrones feel. Great job!
  24. Great job! I really thing the dragon windows make this scene!
