    Abandoned Tower Parts 1-2 Nocturnus Free Build Long ago… Along the Old Forest Road, three years ago, a trio of Falcons came upon a Tower…It watched the dark forest, protecting the nearby town from wolves…but had been abandoned when its foundations crumbled…Its original guards were long gone; and the Falcons would have passed it by without a thought, that is until the hunter returned. A hunter; from the nearby village; used the tower to spot out stag…he had climbed down to confirm his kill, only to discover the stag had escaped; and returned to find a trio of men with a strange crest. They were looking at the tower, and intending to climb it. Foolishly, the hunter greeted them with open arms, and offered his assistance. The Falcons declined, as they had only intended to discover the owner of the equipment above; to which the hunter stated was his. Foolishly, the hunter then offered to bring the Falcons to the nearby village, so that they may feast as guests and sleep. The Falcons agreed, and weapons at hand, followed the hunter through the forest. They went farther and farther into the wood, eventually coming upon the nearby village, as the hunter had said... ~Nemo

    I've got a question about Varlyrio. As it being the "5th Guild" is it really considered a guild?--In the sense that people can join it, enter contests, and earn gold for it? I cannot find info on this. I've been working on the Historica Wiki lately and that's something that should be figured out and placed there (Problem being I can't figure it out).

    Yes I know I've seen Falcon's in other places. Though not that pick of some in Nocturnus (Though they've turned more monster then Falcon!) I've got a nice way of explaining that. The first free build(s) I'll be working on is a history of the Nocturnus Falcons, and how they ended up there, and it works well with how Falcons ended up everywhere.

    Yes, I've seen Falcons in a few builds. I'll make sure to distinguish mine though as Nocturnus ones. Thanks! It's time to kick Nocturnus up a notch--we're way too behind!

    Thanks! Ahh, yes I saw that. I too don't think it will be a problem, more of just something that could be added in story wise as to why they are all split up. And our paths might cross, but not in a passive way.

    Hello everyone (Again), I first joined Nocturnus many a months ago, but soon following the 5th guild contest (That I entered) I thereafter fell off the radar. Now however, I’m interested actually, you know, doing stuff. Anyways, I never did anything with my first character, so I’m throwing that empty failure to the side and starting anew, still in Nocturnus of course. I’m a bit late to the party of chapter one, so I’ll most likely be just making some free builds until it picks up again. I’ll be working on a backstory history for my Nocturnus peoples over the next few weeks and posting those things hopefully before the end of free builds (We can never have enough Nocturnus free builds!). To the point; I love the look of the Black Falcons, and while they were way before my time, I finally, recently, acquired some, hence the Black Falcons of Nocturnus… Lord Fendrel Falco leads the disgraced Black Falcons into the borders of Nocturnus “Exiled for their crimes and treachery, the Black Falcons led by their Lord, Fendrel Falco, wandered the lands of Historica, settling in the dark forests of Nocturnus. Their quest for power is matched only by their hatred of the guilds and the Men of Lion responsible for their banishment. Here in the dark forests of Nocturnus, they now begin to construct their castle, to which their horrid army will spring forth…" Hopefully this is acceptable for Nocturnus—mostly because they’re more human than human-breed. Of course, soon the other guilds will see why they’re more animal then human. Anyways, I’m excited to get building for Nocturnus and the backstory of the Falcons and Falco. ~Nemo

    These are all great! The builds are at such a large scale but they all have great detail, and I love the last one most of all, because of the large white hand rug! I also think the story is great too, and I love the options at the end--can't wait to see who would go with what side.

    Very nice! Each of these builds is at an epic scale, but with so much detail. Most of all, I love the first build with the large round towers.

    I was actually able to buy the pre-order Jack Sparrow from Walmart late last year (But way after the game was out and on sale); it was just sitting on the shelf. The people at Walmart were really confused when I tried to ring it up at self-checkout. Regardless, I wouldn't count on finding them places.

    Why are points not awarded for free builds? Answering my old question above, I'll most likely just start over in Nocturnus with a new character etc.

    Is this the common practice? (If that common at all?) I only ask because I had first joined GoH many a months ago (As a Nocturnus), and I had entered into the 5th guild challenge, but since then have dropped off the face of Historica. Basically, I want to get back into GoH (And the Castle theme), and actually you know--do stuff, but I'm not sure if I should (Or can) return as a Nocturnus or as another guild (If possible), and it doesn't help that I'm so out of the loop of current events.

    I used to be a more frequent member of MOCpages, and while I still hold an account there, I don't post there anymore. I found the problem being there simply was not enough of a base to people to see and comment on my creations--which is what I (And many people) are after, to see if others like their builds. On MOCpages, I could never get anyone to comment let alone look at my creations, where as on Flickr I can get hundreds of views in a few hours. It is generally harder to get people to look at creations on MOCpages, at least in my experience, mostly because there is far less people. Usually when I go there now, I just see a dormant/dead community; in the sense that besides the main page builds, I don't see really any activity. I'm now dedicated to Flickr, and I can't see turning back.

    Yeah I too knew nothing--well I did know that there was a mafia academy opening and I didn't want to miss out so I jumped in. I had no idea of all the other "non-listed" rules and roles there were. Though I don't know if it would have helped me much.

    Well that was a sudden ending. I knew they were running out of town but it still hit me like a ton of bricks! Sad that the scum won, but to be honest they definitely seem to know what they were doing. I am interested to know of things such as night action usage and stuff, specifically you know that one night when I was framed and stuff...nudge...nudge...

    Arkham Incident A rather simple build depicting holding cells within Arkham. Really, I made this as a test to see how I’ll make Arkham when I make Mad Love in Lego, and I got some useful info out of it. Enjoy ~Nemo
