    I think it's because it feels like a black vehicle with a yellow stripe rather than a black and yellow vehicle. Yeah, I imagine it was just the money people being tight because this small change helps the model so much, looks great like this

    I only made one point? But I imagine the reason is this started by an insane clone campaign about the blue clones, so they figured that's what fans want most so the sub-30 dollar battlepacks are always the blue clones

    Don't think it's army builders per say, just whatever the normal split of kids and Afols the audience for playsets are now as I imagine this is an especially popular one. They could do it without cannibalising sales as the stars of the AT-TE, I'd have to guess, is the shocking value for the theme and Cody but they might not wanna risk it when they don't think there'd be noticeable enough a jump from a 79th 501st/501st with orange helmet pack to a 212th in sales.

    I get that, but the point made is this subtle improvement only took 35 pieces, roughly the same saved by cutting the cockpit size back

    The Mando speeder is a polybag build sold as a set, I get it's the first time a set has been made in such a low price point for this theme in ages but I think it just shows how embarrassingly bad the value on this line is The battlepack is weak, I don't really think the speeder is as good as others do here, very blocky build for a 20 quid set but the set as a whole is dragged down by more 501st clones and their somehow worse side build. Wonder if that has to do with them wanting to keep the AT-TE around for so long, they don't wanna make 212th troopers too common because the big set for that legion seems to still be doing well enough to stay another year so they don't want to undercut it. I do feel bad for the 212th they're the only RotS clones to actually get a fleshed out action sequence but the blue fellas who (in the films) exclusively appeared in the genocide montage take up most the clone sets

    Same, hopefully such a big gap will mean they have more ideas and (definitely won't but I can dream) pause the onslaught of costume figures. Not been a space figure in a series since series 26 if I'm not mistaken

    Let's not make a joke of this cheesehead Perhaps to make it really adult the twist should be Bruce has become the leader of the Vampire cult (only Alfred knows) and he kills Superman so a new hero is needed to shine like a bright Kryptonite, one who cannot be turned as he does not have blood, one already with the right colour scheme...

    If I were to guess they wanted Lloyd gold and it'd be weird if only two were silver. It's a shame as it would have been a great opportunity for a Jay ZX figure with a metallic print, suppose the arm will be gold to match

    Yeah, impulse sets are vital to the health of a play theme Would love for them to become more common, might be a good price range for some Separatist or Rebel sets.

    True, they don't have to do any of this though as shown by them trying to not have the minifigure vending machine parts go up. It's really just us as fans trying to find rules to predict decisions but ultimately at any point any of it is fair game to be thrown out

    Little disappointed in the Sandman set. The build is kinda worthless, the Sandman figure is generic and Spider-Man is reused so while it's cool getting a Spider-Man 3 set Venom is the only interesting thing there

    The disguises will go on cartoon logic, he never takes off the cowl, just haphazardly paints logos onto his batsuit, maybe a wig is involved

    Yeah, the situations where a Space fig has been parted out in a CMF is only different in availability as CMFs are everywhere but my point was that either way here it doesn't go on PAB, which is something LEGO has clearly become aware of affecting desirable figures. So I wouldn't be surprised if they lean into BAM parts for more of this sorta thing in future
