  1. SAME. I have a local store that just hasn't ordered any series since as they're still trying to shift them
  2. Ashens is the bravest man to ever live, he gives me so much national pride. He will one-day die in front of that sofa eating a 5 year old, poundland Batman cake or something How many guest stars have Minifigures? Matt Smith, Michael Gambon and David Tennant come to mind
  3. It's funny that the Batman who the 2012 cowl was designed to resemble is the only movie batman to get a new piece for his figure. Like if the 2012 one was good enough for Pattinson it works for Keaton. Even funnier it happened twice. I feel like the superhero cinematic universe is a dead medium, DC got into the game too late both times. At this point the only Marvel movies that make money are the ones playing off pre-MCU nostalgia or Spider-Man films, they pretty much cornered the market on this from 2012 onwards, if they're struggling making generic superhero movies that build towards crossovers its probably just a losing battle. I think these inherently become impenetrable at a certain point causing the audience to plateau, they're all very stuck in the 2010s stylistically which is millennial cringe now, and streaming really did the final blow. No-one wants to go out for homework movies that they can get for free in 4 months tops and the ugly, flat, grey visuals capeshit is locked to now just screams streaming slop to the GA. If they wanted a new one I think they needed to play it down. Do a couple, actually standalone, Superman movies + the Reeves stuff for a bit then expand outwards if the Superman films were a viable brand on their own. I think audiences can smell when something is trying to sell them a streaming spin-off at this point
  4. Yeah, exactly this. The figures are too expensive for this especially given how the City figures in CMFs now often have reused prints from regular City sets. Fully agree, I see their point but wish the kid figures included would be a little more distinct. Like how the knight in this wave sounds. The Goatherd I get as the goat was such a insane LEGO community thing it was almost certainly a slot set out for the goat that they worked backwards to asign a figure for that'd keeo the goat as the focus. The others I'm less sure of. Might be a budget thing where lamer figures are made for series that have used most of the budget on the other ones
  5. The funny thing is they won't even really do that. Like the Battle Packs keep hopping in price but they retain the builds that would be in a ~10, 15 at a push set if it was Ninjago or something. Battle pack builds back in the day were generally the sorta thing that would be a 10, 15 quid set even if it didn't have 4 minifigures. Now they're always like two price points above what they should go for. LEGO realising the way fans value Minifigures has been disastrous for everyone.
  6. I think as a whole the show has been so regressive for so long it needs an actual fresh era to stand a chance. It's a very easy show to do that with to be fair, an Eleventh Hour type reset probably would be enough with a more competent production.
  7. Cheers, I'm quite proud of them. Means a lot Well, I'll be honest, another series of NuWho (or distinct for legal reasons Disney Who) was never gonna get more sets. The Disney stuff flopping i think very much cements LEGO Who only had a chance in the first half of the 2010s. I think, long term, the Tender leading to a full refresh is more likely to get further Doctor Who sets if it's successful. Which is the smart call to be honest, there's no world in which that special does anything but deepen the hole the show is in. It's very expensive, delays the reset and would just keep the bad cliffhanger the general public has already forgotten in theor minds for a year. 4+ Tardis set incoming
  8. Yes, obviously Not necessarily, maybe Copper Batman drives the duck now
  9. Cool, a cheap Scarlet Spider and 2 more Raimi sets
  10. This just in, Classic Space is not scientifically accurate . Like I'm sorry but this is silly, Classic space lives off whimsy. The ships all have massive holes in them and the helmets don't have visors. If people want to interpret it as a consistent universe with strong lore more power to them but let's not pretend like that was kn any way consistent. Lego comics and games and animations have depicted them flying with the air tanks for decades, they drive their spaceships with steering wheels. This isn't the space theme to worry about this with
  11. So we've got a pretty good chunk of the 2027 spread across these leaks. From the Smart Brick, the ones thought to be this year and this most recent leaked sets. Might not be much more than Starfighter sets left. And do you know what I'm noticing? No clones. Really think 2025 was pretty much doing whatever they had left in the tank and moving on.
  12. Ohhhhhh, it's literally all on you. Every single LEGO DC decision for the past 5 years has been exclusively because of your feedback. Well that's fair enough, you win some and you lose some
  13. Very happy they just decided to use this set to make the new helmet instead of introducing a whole new colour. Set looks great
