Wonder if this is why they put the torsos for the CS figures they part out only in BAM now so they're never easy to get many of -

Good idea, what'd be your dream wave of Batman sets? -
Is the medieval theme as popular as it used to be?

I wonder if most Castle sets retiring this year is because they weren't as long term sustainable as LEGO hoped or because they wanna do new castle stuff with new factions -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Yeah, I know they couldn't have done that but if the cockpit was downsized they could make a better designed set in that price range, the set as is doesn't justify being it's size and it couldn't afford to be bigger. A smaller cockpit means with the same amount of parts it'd go further in detailing the set and make it less bobbleheaded -

I like that Lucasfilm realised they wanted to have edgy evil jedi characters for almost every project they do but Lucas locked them into only having like 4-5 options across the 30-ish years of the original 6 films so they invented two separate groups of sith in everything but name made up of entirely complete jobbers -
I love the poly bag is a remake of the specific 2012 one instead of being a random new vehicle, kinda funny it got a remake before the Tread Assault Might just be the render looking worse than the real deal tbf

To punish all of us here for not taking the scourge of helmet holes seriously the cowl will have moulded eyes where they should be in lore and the eye holes slightly above -

LEGO likes Batman, believe me, Marvel is made more than Batman because there's more movies to adapt and designers said they primarily don't touch DC due to the lack of toyetic, successful franchises. Superman might get there with the sequel, every Batman movie gets a couple sets but the only ones overflowing with sets are the Schumacher one's they've just got brave enough to touch -

That's fair game whether or not you agree with it, that is relevant to China dropping Hollywood movies and you admitted Canada and other European countries likely have similar sentiments. Brickbob's regime comment is a flippant joke but plenty of us have made similar quips about China or Russia on here. You can disagree with that but it's not unique and by going on a big rant about how the entire discussion is political digging you made this a political debate rather than a discussion that someone happened to dare throw a quip about your favourite [REDACTED] Like the equivalent response would be you make some dumb quip about wherever he's from or say something cancer about how he's the freedom president if you gotta defend the [REDACTED] (Though ideally find someone who isn't a [REDACTED] to get so defensive about) Yeah, very well put -
Isn't Smurf a Nickelodeon thing now, good news for the LEGO character you've always wanted back to return...

DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Renny The Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Funny, hope that does happen, we get a wave with the Batman and Batmobile from TTG, Looney Tunes Back in Action and from Epic Movie I'm aware, my joke still stands though, until our cheese headed friend here decides to defend Winnie the Pooh's regime that argument still doesn't work. To weigh in here trade wars, the tariffs and their backlash are notable factors in how these things are recived, I don't personally think they made a big difference with this one film but it's a fair argument for others here to make, you're the one who switch the tracks to how discussing something that was gonna happen regardless which particular republican was nominated is totally fair game in discussing these movies, I'm sorry if it offends you but like people were allowed to discuss how certain decisions on how the government dealt with the 2008 financial crash or the COVID pandemic affected the subjects of discussion here, this is fair game not "political digging" -

Doesn't he fight the Fantastic Four? Would be funny if they finally do a set for that and it just comes with Batman Bad thing can only happen in one place at a time, every time a specific government has an issue nowhere else in the world is allowed to have that same issue. Currently it's the UK's turn having a surveillance state so everyone else here better back off -

Clearly it was the Disney funded Doctor Who being crap, it's of course a misnomer because they were quite hands off but the majority of the fandom assumes it was the American money that almost killed the show. This is the only negative PR America has gotten since 2024 -

Renny The Spaceman replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
This annoys me because if LEGO just used the smaller version of the same cockpit piece they absolutely could have built the sets head up in the same way as this build. I swear that's like the stealth biggest issue with the set. The massive cockpit with no detailing around it really makes the set seem out of proportion and chibi -

I feel like you didn't listen to the argument at all. It's not even one I'm particularly married to but it's the idea that now because America isn't popular recently these films don't have international legs anymore, like the most recent Cap movie and Superman movie are why people believe this, the past ones were made before what people think is the issue so they're irrelevant. I know other superheroes did it too but notably not Spider-Man. Cap is on his level, didn't say differently. And you can't wipe out something defining to the character from public conscious in like 5 years, even if it's not said in books anymore it still sticks for ages. Imagine trying to detach the whole "Great Power" Schtick from Spider-Man, no matter how much Marvel tries to scrub it it'd take ages to stick if it ever did at all. I think Superhero movies bombing has more to do how studios made very samey movies like four times a year for a decade so now no-one wants to get reinvested in the cycle as Marvel and DC both are trying to usher in new era's so what draws people is gonna be the stuff that's always been an interest of kids like Batman or Spider-Man or stuff that plays to 2000s nostalgia -

DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Renny The Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I don't think Spider-Man and Optimus Prime are comparable (tbf the last Transformers film or two bombed though ig) because sure they have the colours, and you can make thematic arguments but Superman's catchphrase was ended with the phrase "the American way" for decades, he was the face of US wartime propaganda for years in the golden age of Superheroes and he has endlessly been pastiched as representing America(to the GA The Boys genuinely might be the single most popular Superhero thing, it's offensively Co-Worker core, and they have the blatant Superman stand in wear an american flag). Captain America is comparable but it's not like his film did gangbusters this year either. They can try divorce Superman from America but it'd take decades for that to stick. Dunno if that is the reason but amongst these peers he's absolutely unique -
Really surprised they're this close without being full reproductions, expected something more like the Legacy masks. These look great. Wonder if all the anniversay sets will use these designs

Haha, goes hard, Corn Cob might finally get popped No, you don't get it, they're slightly higher than they should be if you use an antenna, LEGO should never add aditional circles for connectivity, which is why if LEGO cared for their fans they're remove all studs from sets -

This is my fear too, these sets will now only available through FOMO methods with GWPs and BDP. Unwise to bet against Teal, death isn't enough for it :P
