  1. It may not be the second Death Star...my own personal theory is that it's one of the twenty-three other death stars that were destroyed off-screen. Seriously, bad guys, quit building death stars already!
  2. Beautiful wagons! The stickers around the windows look great, as do the barely-inset doors!
  3. Awesome MOC! Do you have a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range?
  4. Nice looking locomotive! It's neat to see how the detailing has progressed over time. My only suggestion would be to see how some piping might look along the boiler, as American engines tend to be more "greebled" than their British counterparts. The dark red livery looks great!
  5. You mean...how he falls with style?
  6. A gorgeous arrangement of a modern hymn set to Jean Sibelius' "Finlandia:"
  7. I'd like to see the Adventurers theme (which began as a shameless rip-off of Indiana Jones) made into an intentionally cheesy (musical?) parody of the entire adventure genre. Think Johnny Thunder and Sam Sinister singing about what they'll do with the treasure they're hunting.
  8. Beautiful! It has a nice combination of traditional features with modern touches like the large side windows. The interior looks good too!
  9. The detailing on the sides of the coaches looks great! Having just finished the book, I can attest that your version of the adventure is much more kid-friendly. I hope you hit 10,000!
  10. Great looking ship! As for having the sails on fire, it might be possible to put a small container of alcohol inside the ship with the sails acting as a wick...just make sure you extinguish it before all the alcohol is consumed! On second thought, you probably weren't thinking of actual fire...
  11. Nice MOC with lots of detail. It's a big improvement on the original set!
  12. If I could change the name, I'd call it "The Website Formerly Known as Eurobricks."
  13. @CrispyBassist You actually found a use for those Mars tube things! The flatcar looks great.
  14. Wow! What a fantastic model!
  15. Looks good, especially the SNOT technique for the hull.
  16. Just an everyday scene from the Middle Ages... Friar Bob: That's it, Sir Cedric, push that wood a bit closer. Sir Cedric: Prithee, Father, didst thou bring the marshmallows? IMG_0753 by the chestertonian, on Flickr Thanks for looking!
  17. I'm all for producing sets inspired by elements of Chinese culture, but I have to wonder if Lego will be welcome in China for very long. As a brand, Lego fosters individuality and self-expression, values that are antithetical to the practices of China's current tyrannical government. In a nation where, for example, over one million Uighur people are being held in "re-education" camps for the crime of being born into an ethnic minority, will a company like Lego even be allowed to do business there for long? Should they even operate a factory in a country with such an opressive government? Super Omnia Libertas
  18. Very nice MOC - it looks like a scene right out of Ivanhoe!
  19. Plus some old minifigs that need an update. We all need to petition Disney to release a special edition of AOTC with Jedi Bob digitally added to the arena scene!
  20. Nice hull technique! It captures the shape well.
  21. Nicely detailed coaches! I can't wait to see the K36 locomotive!
  22. The pessimist in me says not to get my hopes up for a steam engine, or a train at all. Knowing TLG, we'll probably get yet another helicopter.
  23. Very nice engine and lovely scenery too!
