    Its primary focus is MegaBlocks, but all brands are covered - even LEGO. But you are right, not many mocks there - its a small one-person driven website.

    There is already a forum dedicated to Mega and other bricks brands: Home | The Bloks Forum. It has been around for as many years as Eurobricks, but of course have a much smaller following, and much less activity. I have been member of both Eurobricks and Blocks Forum for a long time, and used both in each its own way. Although I am family-bound to prefer LEGO (my sister used to work at LEGO HQ), I Liked the MegoBloks DRagon elements, so at that time I opened up for other brands - but my inventory is still 95% LEGO, and 5% other bricks brands (not counting Playmobil, as it is not brick based). But I voted 3, as I think LEGO needs a punch in the nose for abandoning Eurobricks!

    I checked my four VW Beetles, but they might not be the same variant as yours (they dont have the VW 1200 embossed, and dont have "pat.pend."). In 1958 came the first VW Beetle, set numbers 260 and 261. Another set number was 661 in 1964. And a special set (only for sale in Scandinavia) was set 1270 in 1958. According to this link, the set 260 did have the "VW 1200" embossed, but I cant see from the picture, if it also have PatPend: HO Scale, VW Beetle (52mm Long) : Part 260pb01 | BrickLink Not so helpful, I know... Edit: Right now there is a car like yours, but in silver, at eBay: 1950s Vintage Lego VW Beetle 1200 Volkswagen Lego Car 1:87 HO Silver | eBay.de And according to this site, "Set numbers 260, 261 and 661 were made of transparent plastic and were painted after moulding.": 260 VW Beetle | Brickipedia | Fandom So my conclusion to your question must be, that your car is original, but maybe the painting has been removed?.

    Thank you for the review - and I think it is a great follow-up on Whitefangs reviews. As I have never seen any Spiderverse movies or series, this is my first series ever that I dont try to collect in full. I bought 12 random boxes, got 7 different minifigs, and all of them was - well, underwhelming. I know, that I am not the target audience for this, but I am still very disappointed - as MKJoshA wrote, only the F1 was worse. Please, give us some traditional non-licensed CMF series.

    I HATE GOATBUSTERS!!! My local supermarket had series 25 on clearance, so I bought their remaining 62 random boxes. And there were 11 Harpies, 8 train Kids, and lots of all the other minifigs. But not a single Goatherd!!! They must have been chased, collected, and put in secret storage by The Goatbusters. I really, really hate Goatbusters - may they burn in Hell in all Eternity!!!! (As mentioned by Roebuck above, in Denmark you cant buy the big boxes, only single items from a tower box. After the Toys'r'Us collapse, there are hardly any toystores left in Denmark, so LEGO is sold in bookstores and supermarkets, and they only have minifigs in tower boxes)

    Well, after the Tallneck set, LEGO must have license to Horizon Zero Dawn - besides Aloy, there are many other interesting persons that could be made to minifigs. Plus of course the robot animals... So I wish for a licensed HZD series (will probably never happen)

    Wow, all those details! But the maintenance man ends up being angry, as all the bowling shoes lies unused at the shelves, and people bowls in their own footwear...

    I also bike past it almost every day, so I can say for sure, that your build not only catches the looks of the building, but also the feel / vibe. Wonderful build - I am envious! I know, that it would probably be a bit much work (and too many bricks) to also build the rest of the angled building.

    That part with the poor soul covered in discarded bones are clearly inspired by the Nordic tale of Hjalte in Rolf Krakes castle - very nice interpretation!!

    As someone who works at a National Library, I can really appreciate the attention to detail you have put into this masterpiece. It is simply mindblowing! I once build a scale model of my workplace, the Black Diamond in Copenhagen, but in microscale - I can hardly fathom how many hours the two of you have spend in building in this amazing minifig-scale

    Wonderful build! It reminds me of the Witcher3 game - several places, like the wizards spooky island with the ruined castle - and the necromancer...!!!
