    I have no idea what is supposed to Happen in the third part: dragon burns city, dragon is killed, the end. How can this make a whole movie? Dont tell me. Back on topic: I Wonder about smaugs wings. Will they wrinkle when used too often? Will the plastic lighten up where bent? These wings will be impossible to paint on because of their flexibility. Hmm, maybe if colored fabric could be glued over?

    Feminists might not like the question, but I wonder what the greek warrior Woman has undeneath her skirt. Legs with sandals might be very versatile if they have the right color.

    Two figs with a Focus on historical themes is quite satisfying. Two new printed shields available for cheap is also Fine. Also a white female head is very welcome. Some figs are very creative ideas so I think there is nothing to complain. Two cloth skirts, also quite rare.

    Seeing Smaug from the top makes him look much Better than in the very first picture. This is a relief! He is definitely longer than other Dragons and does not Look fat from above.

    Could Smaugs wings be made from fabric? They have sort of a silky surface, maybe this is not plastic? His belly is a bit round for my taste, he should be more snakelike.

    I have never seen any tutorial on painting transparent pieces. My only thoughts are window colors for kids or a thin foil that could be Cut to fit between window and frame. Placing painted and nonpainted parts of the same color next to each other will look odd. Finding a dark blue that looks exactly like Legos will be extremely difficult. Use paint that you can mix. You are trying to paint a big surface here, which is not easy. I tried finding a paint that matches dark blue once, I bought about 5 different paints and mixed and mixed, yet the result still did not look like the original. If you want to save yourself some trouble, try using official parts only even if means a compromise.

    Why is the second part after of the tutorial (after previewing the post) necessary? Isn't it enough to paste the BB code and that's it? Or is it more than one tutorial? Does it have advantages to follow the whole thing?

    Brickowl mentions a brown one, too. Also a tan one. But maybe these are just mistakes in the System? Maybe they dont exist.

    Also the fact that she is forced to carry a spear, the phallic symbol of male oppression (and colonialism in general, which is of course male as well), and even smiles about it, shows how severely she has already internalized stereotypical gender roles and attributes. Poor self-alienated being.

If portraing a female fig with female features is a narrow manifestation of gender specifity, then the act defining something must be a terrible sin because it means narrowing and demarcating, hence excluding normatively. This whole discourse is getting so dull, I hope it will disappear into the tiny academic elite circles it emanated from.

    Hmm, I don't despise this as much as I do with the obvious clones. I think detail is a two-sided sword. On the one hand it makes things realistic and precise. On the other hand, this is exacly what limits use and compatibility. A very detailled part like these printed tiles can serve a handful of purposes while a single dark gray tile can be used for thousands of things. I won't spend money on this I guess. The level of detail is so high that it looks odd if mixed with lego. It is already difficult to mix detailed lego with less detailed lego (put a brickbuilt dragon and a molded dragon in the same army and this will look weird), so why should we make this even harder?

    Smaug has nice feet! Also the joint fot the wing looks somehow moveable and turnable, which would be new and very good to have.

    Although I am not into space, I applaud those who made this. In wish there was a treeman in this size with this level of detail.

    Hi everyone, my church asked me to build the biblical story of the lost sheep in Luke 15. I would have preferred something with elves and dragons, but I did it. It is surely below the general level of MOCs here on EB, but I thought I'd share it anyway. Maybe it does some good somewhere.     While I appreciate the mixels, the nixels are just ugly in my eyes. The faces look very non-legoish. They make me want to punch them in the face. I would have understood making them with an empty face, so that people can draw their own custom faces on them, but these printed ones look stupid. "They stand for everthing we don't stand for."

    Oh, this is a nixel. This new idea was unknown to me up to now, but I googelt and found it. Very ugly. I like the spooky girls leg piece, this might be useful.

    Wow, I am very impressed. Everytime I think I have some overview of things possible with lego, something new comes up.

    I like spooky girl. This might be a Source for an affordable white female head, something which is new I guess. Good for dark elves. The only alternative is Amidalas and that costs. There is also kimono girls, but hers is not very useful. Ok, i guess it is the Same bear mold as the dark Brown and white one. But this is gray, isn't it?
