Brickin It Custom review: The Destructor
Wardancer replied to WetWired's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I have no idea what a destructor is, but the fig looks fine. Any backprinting? -
I am a bis disappointed by the bears. Their heads have odd shapes. There goes my idea of customizing their heads. But the sabretooth tigers are great. The one in that bluish tone is awesome. Could someone with an eye for colors tell me which color this new flamelike piece is? Not the transparent ones, but the orange one the phoenix flyer has as ears? It will make fine giant bows.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Wardancer replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
What is the current theory of the position of bags in the box? It has happened twice now that I found goddesses next to each other in the box. Does that mean figs of the Same sort are clustered together in a box? Also is there a fixed position for figs or clusters of figs? Maybe my mind plays tricks on me, but I think many goddesses I found (I have 9) were close to the beginning of boxes, i.e. the front of the left row.- 1,109 replies

Hi, I am currently woring with LDD for the first time and there is one thing that I cannot understand. I am trying to get minifig hands a an independent, standalone part. Is that possible? I cannot find a hand as a part in the database. But they are attached to every torso in there. Can I not seperate a hand from a torso? I tried copy and paste, but that only affects the whole torso, even if just the hand is selected. Any help?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Wardancer replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The goddesses were with me today. At the first store I felt for a long time until I found only one Athena. It said 3,49 Euro on the price tag, but in the computer system it only was 2,49. The next shop had one of these cardboard things that restrict access to most of the bags. It was placed directly next to the counter, so I didn't expect to feel many, because I would start a big sorting action there. I felt only 4 bags there, 2 of which I quickly identified as Athenas. What are the odds?! Again, 2,49 Euro and a friendly cashier girl was impressed when I told her I could feel the content of the bags. Now I have 6 and need only three more.- 1,109 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion

I tried to get more goddesses today... and failed! The local toy store has this new way of storing the bags. Most of them are behind a glass screen and you can only touch the ones at the bottom. If you take some out, more slide out automatically. So if you take out a lot, which you need for feeling them, you end up with nowhere to put them. There is a way to open the whole thing to fill it, but that is sort of covered by other products. I felt the ones I could touch and pushed them back in, but I could only feel a few. The whole thing makes you feel uncomfortable. This seems to be an official LEGO method of presenting them in stores, it this a general problem?- 1,109 replies

I ordered some to make ranger archers. Looking forward to it. Thanks for including dark green. Dark gray would also be fine.

Finally a black longbow! We need more bows in general. The quivers are also a good idea. -

I just have the most obvious advice: Try on cheap torsos first :-) -
Yellow and pearl gold is not the best combination. Maybe olive green arms will make Elrond more generic. Maybe dark brown could work as well. If this is the end of the series and of all elves, Haldir remains the ultimate Elf in my eyes.

If you are talking about customizing, one Way to get exactly fitting armor pieces might be to cut them out of one troll and use them on another.
-
With this Elrond, we all can make the armored Elf we have been waiting for so long! Only without a helmet and shield, hmm. If some customizer company is smart, they could fill that void. Thanks for the review. This set will sell like sliced bread. The ruins look like they were assembled by either a kid or a randomness generator. Yes, they are ruins, but how about ruins with style?

REVIEW: 71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12

I love these reviews. Thank you. A reddish brown spear with a golden tip is a new variation of this spear, isn't it? The other with the golden tip is dark brown.- 156 replies

I like the golden underpants of the Goddess, one can use her without skirt then. Also that she can be found with medium probability. And arm printing!- 156 replies
