It really doesn't bother me at all that the garage interior has no tiling. The argument that it would'nt look right though just doesn't hold water to me though, here in the racing capitol of the world many, many garages have nicely epoxied floors a lot even have designs in them, even the regular type garages. Again though to me it's not an issue. Maybe it's because there are so many companies that specialize in that sort of thing around here, I don't know.

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Johnny1360 replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Only the possibility of a LBMII are being discussed, nothing has been decided on any sort of content or plot exists as of now. So any speculation as to which sets would be made is just that. -

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Johnny1360 replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I also heard it was to be only one yellow figure in the set the rest would fleshies, for the anniversary. Sorry I have nothing to prove this, can't really remember where I read it. -

I really did want to like this set and even forgave the lack of features, even held off posting any negative comments but all those stickers wow, no thanks. Edit: As if it could get worse I guess even the printing on the fenders is poorly done. -
I ask no questions, in return they allow me to use their high speed Wi-Fi for no cost.

I realize you have scrapped your original project, which is to bad I think, really liked the direction that engine was taking. One thing though, I always thought those radial engines had an odd number of cylinders to operate properly, if I remember correctly on some of them the whole engine actually would spin with the prop.

I realize it's not really the same but literally across the street from where I live there is a vet next to a gas station, in the same building and for what it's worth I live in a small apartment above a computer store and a barbershop.

42093 Corvette ZR-1

I tend to agree with this assumption and look forward to seeing how people that do get this set implement all those great functions that are missing. -

Well it is just a car not sure what sort of exciting new functions it could have. Just curious what functions do you think it should have to not be boring? That you could realistically expect for a set this size/price. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Johnny1360 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Damn and I just completed my rogues gallery, here we go again. I think TLBM theme was one of my all time favorites, so I hope this is true and we get some great sets. In the mean time I better start clearing some shelf space even though it's likely to be years away. Still have a couple of sets to get from the first one though. -
Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Crazy as it sounds, I don't think it has anything at all to do with whether the set is for kids or AFOLS. They simply don't think it's necessary to sell the set, people are going to buy it regardless, as it is an established theme. Where as with other themes it is needed to sell the sets, make them stand out, or special. In the end who knows it could be any number of things although honestly I doubt laziness has anything at all to do with it and is a term I see getting thrown around quite a lot lately. Does anyone know if the designers for the Super Heroes themes have daybeds in their offices? -

I am almost certain there will be another big car set coming, considering they just released the Bugatti recently I wouldn't expect to see it for at least another year though. Maybe you will get what you want and it will be a Corvette, surely you don't expect 2 or 3 of those a year, they would become "old hat" quickly and wouldn't be near as special or rather Flagship material. -
Holy thread resurrection! Very informative link though thanks. Bookmarked

Me too, as I can't always afford the bigger sets, I am always grateful for these smaller ones. Great part packs as well. -

Sometimes it makes me think, due to the lack of functions, the first criteria of any given set is the price range it will occupy. -
Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
Johnny1360 replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Only for about two and half years, so I was unaware of that set, thanks for pointing it out and yes it is quite affordable. My first Technic set was the Fire Plane and although I think it's a good set apparently I am one of few that thinks so. I can't understand why LEGO charges so much for system planes even considering the cockpit piece it just seems way overpriced. Of course I will still buy it because I don't have a red one yet plus I need the new multi shot water canon. I think of all the new city sets the fire plane is the one I look forward to the most, even though it's nothing all that great. -

So as an retired forest fire fighter I was thrilled to see 60217 was a fire plane for fighting forest fires. Also cool to see some new firefighter uniforms although you only get one of the semi-accurate yellow forest firemen it does come with 3 figures a good size plane a buggy with a couple of trees and plays out as a skunk rescue. Unfortunately as usual I feel like it is way overpriced for a 363 piece set, 79 dollars Canadian, unsure what the US price will be. Still I am glad to finally see some sort of forest fire set, so I will probably end up getting it. By the way anyone interested in seeing it can find it on the Brick Fan site.
